By the way a very small cute little detail not many did catch at the end was, when Eunie said Taion is her fourth best buddy it actually meant that he is her best buddy or love interest since Eunie loves the number 4 as pictured when she said that 4 leaf clovers are her lucky charm, thats why he is "just" 4th because Taion is her lucky charm :3

Z's boss fight truly is one hell of a clever concept, instead of just devastating your polygonal avatar in a video game, it also outright tries to crush you, the player, on an emotional level. That attempt could have ended so badly, but instead, it came out glorious. Bravo, Monolith Soft, bravo! Honestly!
I was not expecting to cry during this ending as i rarely do, but when those vocals began, i just started crying, and then when poppi appeared i became a sobbing mess, i had to re-watch the cutscene so i could actually see and focus. Thank you Monolithsoft for making this absolutely fantastic, amazing and beautiful game🥹
The only reason my boyfriend is playing Xenoblade Chronicles is because of me. He grew up playing video games and doesn't like the gameplay in Definite Edition. He said "it's a great movie, but it's a terrible game." 😭 I get where he's coming from when he explains "if I'm going to play a game, I want to play a game. If I want to watch a movie, I'll watch a movie. If I want to play a game, I want to PLAY A GAME." He's still playing it. But we're planning on just watching Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as a movie split into chapters. He will be playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 though and I hope he likes it more. The gameplay in 3 (sidequests, battle system, exploration) is better than 1 in my opinion.
@@leahtheanimationfan40 I think a lot of people didn’t grow up with games like these. Most people grew up with simple action and platform games with minimal story that allow them to have control all the time. To most people that’s what games are. I hope that some day the idea of what a game is or should be expands for people. Personally I couldn’t go back to other games after playing games like Final Fantasy, Xenoblade, Persona and others, I couldn’t go back to other simple games. These games are such beautiful experiences and they should be appreciated more.
Over the course of last year I play the Xenoblade Chronicles series for the first time, and it truly changed my life. No game series had ever given me such a visceral reaction and it has truly become one of my favorite game series of all time. I watched your playthrough of 3 to prepare for Future Redeemed, and it's out now. Thank you for taking back through this journey, it's been so fun and I can't wait to see your video on the DLC.
Ive been feeling down lately, and watching this Im like less than 1 minute and I am already tearing up. My fav memory watching a streamer feel like me. THANK YOU SARAH
I can just imagine "Xenoblade Chronicles is overrated. There's no way it's as good as everyone says it is." (Plays the game) "OMG it really is that good" 😭 Less than 2 years ago, a friend of mine recommended that I play Definitive Edition (another friend recommended it to her and she played it and loved it) and I fell in love with it. I played Torna and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and then I was SUPER hyped when I saw the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 announcement trailer. I could've never predicted that 3 would become my all time favorite game. I LOVE this series!
Every time that I think I’m over this Ending, it comes back somehow (like RUclips suggesting me this video cause I’ve been watching the others) just to remind me that it always hits hard!
I'm so excited to watch this! Thank you for sharing your journey with us! and sorry I didn't follow the livestreams, but so happy I can finally see this ending!
Man, it's been great watching you play through all of the Xenoblade games :) I can't remember the last time something got me in tears that badly ngl Buuuut, we're not done yet! I can feel the DLC being absolute nuts :D
I love people coming around to the ending. I was initially upset too that it ended on such a bittersweet note, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. The worlds needed to continue past that impact they were frozen on, and like Noah said, we don't truly know what will happen after the collision. The biggest in game speculation is that the worlds will drift apart again, and while we do see that in the ending, we don't know to what extent they drifted. Origin itself was described as a library of light, encoded with all the worlds data that, after the collision, would put the worlds back together in correlation to how they were originally recorded, i.e. Origin was a backup save. That's why they reboot as children right at that moment. That's why a lot of locations were reset as well, because that's how they were recorded in Origin. But that doesn't mean that the two worlds are completely disconnected now. Spoilers for that 45 sec teaser of the DLC Story and Post Game: With us seeing Rex and Shulk that old, especially seeing Rex old when the picture we saw of him was when he was younger, it's almost safe to say the DLC story is an epilogue. I have this theory that Z, when making Aionios and choosing the souls to enter that flow and sustain the world with their life, he specifically chose not to resurrect the recordings of Rex or Shulk, any of the other main cast members, and more specifically any adults, because of their knowledge of the worlds before Aionios (which could potentially make it harder for them to believe in the world of Aionios). They only chose children and teens since they'd be more easy to manipulate. The only reason they needed Melia and Nia was because they were the keys to controlling Origin. To add on further info, Mio is heavily hinted at being Nia and Rex's child from the Post game content. For Mio to fall under those parameters to be picked for Aionios, she'd need to be fairly young, meaning the collision couldn't have been more than 10 years after her birth. Which would age Rex up more in line with the DLC story, and could be the only hole in possibly making this a prologue and not an epilogue. But I still think that big of an age difference for Rex is closer to 20 than 10 from that picture.. Additionally, what else would cause Alvis to go rogue like that if not because of the two worlds merging again and Alvis's core crystal resonating with the two other Aegis'. Or potentially something worse.. idk the whole motivation for it yet. I also feel like because we saw Bionis' leg and the bridge in that teasing shot that it has to be after. If Rex and Shulk are interacting in the same place in a world where the locations that are not Aionios, it has to be after the collision. Thanks for reading this and letting me word dump.
I really hope that it's an epilogue, or at least INCLUDES an epilogue. I'd be fine with it being prequel + epilogue, or maybe some time jumping. I just hope it's not solely a prequel because I need to see these characters reunite 😭
Sarah I just want to say how much I appreciate this video. It reminds me of how I found you with the Final Fantasy videos. Long form, genuine, emotional content. I know this had to be so much work for you but I appreciate it so much. I was waiting for your reaction to the ending! The ending of XC3 was so good, and yet SO heartbreaking with all that went on, especially seeing the gang say their last goodbyes. All that’s left to truly tie everything together is that Wave 4 DLC story… hoping it has an ending as good as the base game.
Okay so I'm watching this way down the line (had to finish the game myself first) and I noticed a cool detail in the final Z battle. The hero you have with you stays which whichever side they were on when you get split up. So since she had Riku and Manana they went with the keves crew. Since I had Fiona with me she joined in with the agnus crew instead.

After all the massive amount of good work they already have done? No. That would be a crime. I mean, a literal one, anyways, but also a metaphorical one.
@@Justforvisit I may or may not have posted that comment tongue in cheek, I will let you decide... :P More importantly what's a metaphorical crime? Not a concept I am familiar with haha
Sarah missing the picture is the biggest moment for me lol, it helps with all the crying, it doesn't matter how many times I watch this ending I always cry ToT
When everyone started running after each other in that last scene i felt my heart break. Seeing them so desperately want just a bit more time with their partners. "theres a bit of moebius in everyone" and i like to think that this is where that "moebius" showed itself in the cast for just a little. Craving a small "endless now" just to have more time with the ones they love. Beautiful writing. I find it very hard to emotion but when they started chasing each other i could feel a little bit of emotion in me and ill be grateful that this game did that
Fuck I love bolearis, what a character, I love that we get to see him outside his normally relatively composed attitude. He kinda reminds me of kankuro from naruto where when he's on diplomatic terms he's very cortial and composed but if you let him loose or let him do his own shit he's an absolute fucking menace!
This game should be a national treasure. How did Monolith Soft make lightning strike 3 times in a row, I have no idea but Xenoblade 3 is such a wonderful story and game. You got to witness Gigachad Rex too so that's a 1000/10
I know this will get lost in a sea of comments, but as someone who cries to everything as well, it was so amazing getting to watch you play through Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3. Much like you, this series has left such a profoundly huge impact on my life with the third one being the heaviest for me. This game is... amazing and it is is something I needed to enter into my life as I was also in a bad way this past year and some change. Almost losing my mother to Cancer and the meaning behind what this games story was conveying was and will always be apart of my life now. So, I am happy to see others enjoying the masterpiece that is this game. I know it is not going to be for everyone and that okay, because for me, it means the world over.
I will always love this reaction, it's my reaction really, I didn't miss the picture but I did cry like Sarah here... This ending broke me and there is no shame about it.

The last part of Rex photo is so hillarious. But i expect it comes like that since its just usual anime story plot🤣👌.
Good job finishing XC3👍
Man I love jrpgs. It’s crazy to me how millions of gamers miss out on this greatness
Right! I get sad when other people hate on jrpgs.
Sarah is the real reason that I started playing xenoblade 2 and I am on 4 chapter and I am not ready for the emotional part
It has been an honor to follow your journey.
Most I've cried while playing a game in a long time. I will never forgive this game for being so good and making me cry so much.
Why do I always have to cry, when I watch you play through Xenoblade...
My boy Rex really show them a thing or three
the look between Melia and Riku 40:16 is a perfect example of him being just an ordinary run of mill guypon
WHAT DOES HE KNOW
@@orangepotato2112Riku just Riku. Common variety nopon.

Ive been feeling down lately, and watching this Im like less than 1 minute and I am already tearing up. My fav memory watching a streamer feel like me. THANK YOU SARAH
This series changed me. I played the games thinking it was overrated and left a broken man. I can't express my love for this series in one lifetime...
I can just imagine "Xenoblade Chronicles is overrated. There's no way it's as good as everyone says it is." (Plays the game) "OMG it really is that good" 😭
Less than 2 years ago, a friend of mine recommended that I play Definitive Edition (another friend recommended it to her and she played it and loved it) and I fell in love with it. I played Torna and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and then I was SUPER hyped when I saw the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 announcement trailer. I could've never predicted that 3 would become my all time favorite game. I LOVE this series!
@@leahtheanimationfan40 this series truly is something else
Every time that I think I’m over this Ending, it comes back somehow (like RUclips suggesting me this video cause I’ve been watching the others) just to remind me that it always hits hard!
Awh! Thank you so much! I couldn't watch the streams so I'm so happy to catch up with the edits!
I'm surprised you didn't figure out Mio was Rex and Nia's kid since you did mention earlier (to be fair a different day) that Mio and Nia look similar
These games only get better each time i go through them. Ive watched your playlist 3 times now 🎉
Your genuine reactions only make it better
I'm ready to cry all over again watching this
I forgot about "do not hide your stripes", what an amazing moment!
I'm so excited to watch this!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us! and sorry I didn't follow the livestreams, but so happy I can finally see this ending!
Man, it's been great watching you play through all of the Xenoblade games :)
I can't remember the last time something got me in tears that badly ngl
Buuuut, we're not done yet!
Spoilers for that 45 sec teaser of the DLC Story and Post Game:
With us seeing Rex and Shulk that old, especially seeing Rex old when the picture we saw of him was when he was younger, it's almost safe to say the DLC story is an epilogue.
I've seen this ending so many times, and it breaks me every single time. Full on sobbing no matter what.
Even though it was a bittersweet ending, this is my favorite ending of all the Xenoblade games. I can't wait for the mind-blowing dlc.
I started crying during the Lanz and Sena fist bump scene and continued crying for a good half-hour after I finished the game 😭
Haha loved your reaction, cant wait to see the dlc
Sarah I just want to say how much I appreciate this video. It reminds me of how I found you with the Final Fantasy videos. Long form, genuine, emotional content. I know this had to be so much work for you but I appreciate it so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to go through this and leaving all the meaty content most of channels would delete. You're awesome.
Video games, musics, books, movies, tv show. The power of medium and fiction.
I hate saying goodbye too. I actually didn't finish the last part of chapter 7 until about a month ago because I just didn't want it to end
So, you almost became Moebius
@@Justforvisit But making mistakes is what makes us human. It's the will to move forward after all of that which makes us strong.
@@ilavain Strong? *HA!* You make me laugh. _"Moving forward"_ is just a fancy way to say _"running from your past"._ It's cowardly and it's weak... just like you¹, when you threw away your original comment by editing it. You don't¹ have the mental strength to stick with your original message, do you? *Pathetic¹.*
Feel free to cower in your boundless idiocy¹ then. Your indecisive self¹ will continue to stumble aimlessly through life, throwing away friends as quickly as you make them, desperate to continue your meaningless¹ and limited¹ existence while failing¹ to produce anything worthwhile... until you perish.
*Only Moebius* have the fortitude to proudly take their position in the endless now, and *only those who manage to do so* can achieve true Lamborgini.
¹ Sorry. I can't immerse myself into the Moebius mindset without becoming offensive, as that is their biggest coping mechanism. Please do not feel insulted by anything I've said. I just find it amusing to challenge the game's message.
@@The_Endless_Now Moebius A is real

Now there's nothing left for us but wait for the return of the Monado man and Chadosaurus Rex and see them try and stop Alvis, it's been an honor!
Sarah and Xenoblade will never disappoint 💙
I was waiting for your reaction to the ending! The ending of XC3 was so good, and yet SO heartbreaking with all that went on, especially seeing the gang say their last goodbyes. All that’s left to truly tie everything together is that Wave 4 DLC story… hoping it has an ending as good as the base game.
Thanks for this Sarah you are an amazing human being!
Noah's last line is poetry bro
I'm not ready to cry again but here we go! Always a treat Sarah.
40:31 LOL Sena’s so small she vanished behind Lanz
Okay so I'm watching this way down the line (had to finish the game myself first) and I noticed a cool detail in the final Z battle.
The hero you have with you stays which whichever side they were on when you get split up. So since she had Riku and Manana they went with the keves crew. Since I had Fiona with me she joined in with the agnus crew instead.
Damn, I missed the ending to this saga coming out, what a fantastic series, your xenoblade stuff is so fun to watch! I wanna put my smart comments and analysis here but I got nothing, somewhat because I haven't been in the xenoblade spirit in a bit but man It's also just now flooding back how much I love this game, I'm overwhealmed
If the Xenoblade 3 dlc and/or Xenoblade 4 doesn't somehow confirm they all managed to meet each other again we all charter a plane and march on Monolithsoft headquarters with torches and pitchforks, agreed?
After all the massive amount of good work they already have done? No.
That would be a crime. I mean, a literal one, anyways, but also a metaphorical one.
@@Justforvisit I may or may not have posted that comment tongue in cheek, I will let you decide... :P
More importantly what's a metaphorical crime? Not a concept I am familiar with haha
Sarah missing the picture is the biggest moment for me lol, it helps with all the crying, it doesn't matter how many times I watch this ending I always cry ToT
Well the Xenoblade is the Monado since back when the first game was in development the game was supposed to be called Monado: Beginning of the World.
I find it very hard to emotion but when they started chasing each other i could feel a little bit of emotion in me and ill be grateful that this game did that
The ending reaction is so genuine ❤!!
I couldn't be there for the live stream to catch the final so this was great to watch
Sarah saying that she doesn't like saying goodbye made me instantly think of the endless now lol
This game should be a national treasure. How did Monolith Soft make lightning strike 3 times in a row, I have no idea but Xenoblade 3 is such a wonderful story and game.
You got to witness Gigachad Rex too so that's a 1000/10
I like to think its throwing a fit because everyone who wishes things to not change are essentially throwing a fit not trying to face it.
Thanks for the content. Just spent the last 2 weeks decompressing from work watching your xenoblade playthrough. Really enjoyed these!
So happy to watch your journey with this game! Man, that ending still hits hard even months later. Super excited for the DLC soon!
You should definitely play the two additional post-story hero and ascension quests. They're very special.
10:34 Not a private Homecoming, the first Homecoming.
I will always love this reaction, it's my reaction really, I didn't miss the picture but I did cry like Sarah here... This ending broke me and there is no shame about it.
i feel the same . cried so much. xenoblade taught me so much about life
Man Xenoblade 4 can’t show up any FASTER!!!!!!!!!
Fun Easter egg : in the second N fight he didn't have a rage mode trigger because he was so upset and angry it started at full HP.
Thank you for completing this series, it must be a lot of work to edit hundred hours of footage. I'm glad I found your XC1 playthrough, it has been a wonderful journey and I can't wait for your future work.
The amount of time you spent in denial on the babies in the photo is priceless. Top tier content.
Idk why but this time the n and m sacrifice made me cry way harder than before
Been looking forward to this. Watching someone react as emotionally as I did is validating. This game is just unbelievable.
I can't believe that I started the Xenoblade Franchise with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 5 years ago. This Game is one of my favorite videogames of all Time, I really loved the story, the characters are incredible and Alrest is such an beautiful world. After finishing this Game myself I wanted to watch other people to play this Game and finish it. There we're many people I watched and I like most of them really much but Sarah, your Xenoblade Chronicles 2 playthrough was one of my favorites! 🥰
And look how Far we've come! I've never cried so much in a video game as I did in this one.
I'm really excited how the DLC will handle the story!
What I wanted to say was: THANK YOU REALLY MUCH!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Love your reactions, Love This Community, Love This Game! ❤️❤️❤️ I Love you and all of you guys!🥰😂
