I wanted to have vids of all of my surgeries but that was a non-sequitur in the operating theater. Which hospital are you planning to have surgery? Linda had to wait outside with a buzzer/beeper thing that told her when to come up. The worst thing that happened to me was in recovery. I probably had at least a half dozen nurses coming by looking at my wedding tackle to see if I had urinated. Since I had an epidural for that surgery everything beneath my waist was numb and my plumbing had not returned back alive. Another reason I prefer profodol.

hahahah. No privacy in the hospital! Wedding tackle..... that's funny. I know. Who though pee would be so high on the vitals list.

Interesting how it varies from hospital to hospital. There was no issue for my husband to be with me at anytime during recovery.

Tiffany they should want Nathan there and I'm betting he will be allowed to meet you after recovery. Having a spouse there to help manage your life is important. Oh course bring your living will up to date. You are strong, healthy and mentally well balanced, you will do fine but it will be a challenge for your whole family.

It all ended up being great. My nurses were fantastic. But it was a concern for sure.
