My hysterectomy is behind me now, and I'm home recovering. Each one of the items I shared in the video is truly needed. The travel pillow and Miralax have saved me many times!!
Wow, that's our girl. Happy you are at home recovering, dear. I think it's very personal, but it would help us ladies to know what to expect if you would continue explaining things, as long as you feel comfortable with it. Fears are dispelled with the open truth. Big hugs from Spain. Again, very proud of you 😘😘🤗🤗 sending my love and best wishes from Spain.
You will do great ! You have a positive attitude towards it all ! The best thing I did was have that surgery ! Just don’t overdo it once you start feeling good.
Great to hear you are back at home. Don't over do it. I know it's probably hard for you to just be able to sit and relax because you are such an active person. But the more you can take care of yourself now, the quicker you will be able to get back to your routine.
April 8,2024 I was just scrolling for info about laparoscopic surgery and low and behold there you were,., I am having it 5-9-2024 kinda nervous, but necessary., Thank you for the information...see you later gator, 😊 I hope 😮
I just had mine last week and I am not experiencing pain at all just a little stiffness. I pray that you have a successful surgery and a full recovery.
I had a total hysterectomy (robotic) a few months after enduring 5 weeks of radiation. I know everyone is different but I had no pain at all and used none of the pain meds prescribed. I felt great after just a few days so much I had to be conscientious that I was on restrictions and not to overdo it. I feel blessed that my recovery was this smooth...
I know recovery is hard, just don't overdo once you start feeling somewhat better. When I had mine and it was the greatest gift, I have ever given myself.
Wow, Renee - that was very generous of you to share all this valuable information. This perhaps the single, most important video you have done, which together with your live on IG yesterday is a 1-2 wealth of information and a great PSA. Thank you on behalf of all women who will be facing total hysterectomies 💖💖💖
Dear Renee, you are such a wonderful force of life. Your strength and determination and the love of your family will get you through. We just love your wonderful personality and are praying for you to be fully recovered and back doing your stuff. God bless you
You are gonna do great. I had a full abdominal hysterectomy 4 years ago. It wasn't that bad. They went in through my C-section scare I already had. I also had a Hernia repair done at the same time I had to work with 2 surgeons to make it happen and they both agreed to do it so I was very fortunate. You got this you're gonna do great you're so strong and healthy. I am praying for a quick recovery for you.❤🙏
I also had a total hysterectomy years ago, they have come a long way preparing before and after, they used to keep you in the hospital a couple days now they kick you out 😀 the ride home could be uncomfortable I laid my seat way back almost into a bed that really helped, good luck tomorrow🙏
God Bless you, Renee. I know all will go well. As a former nurse and Surgical Coordinator for 12.5 years, I can see you are well prepared. This inspires confidence in your Surgical Team. I know all will be well.
Oh wow Jennifer! You're the gal in the know 😊 My surgery was 12 days ago and I'm home recovering now. Everything I talked about in the video was so useful and absolutely needed. I'm glad I was prepared because it made everything easier and gave me piece of mind.
I know you are already recovering but it's nice to see the step by step videos. I'm sure they will really be a help to people. Can't wait for the day of video.
Will keep you in my prayers🙏. So many of us have had hysterectomy surgery theses days. Laparoscopic is so much easier to recover from than an open procedure. So glad you can have it laparoscopic surgery. You have been given excellent pre-op instructions. Constipation after surgery is the worst if you develop it. Your husband will take good care of you❤️
So glad to hear you are recovering well! Listen to your body as I know you do🥰 As a retired nurse and having has open procedure hysterectomy for endometrial cancer I have a bit of understanding of all you have been through. You will do fine! ( Hug)
You simply can't discount the importance of hour husband! After my accident, it was my husband who was my rock and who really likely saved my life. So many times, I felt like "letting go" and to just stop fighting. My husband wouldn't let me do that. I don't know that I'd have survived (and recovered as well as I did) without him. He was biggest cheerleader during painful physical therapy, but wouldn't let me slack off at home and would make me do the painful exercises at home. I wasn't real happy with him right at that moment, but if I hadn't done that, my recovery wouldn't have been as good. And when I got home from the hospital, my dogs and cats being with me in bed or on the couch made such a huge difference. They were the best nurses I could have ever had.
I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy in 1992. The Da Vinci procedure was cutting edge at the time. With the exception of a laxative, I don't recall any of that preliminary stuff although they did warn me about the painful gas pockets which I had in my shoulders. I also recall very severe cervical pain for a few days to a week. After that, my recovery was amazingly quick. I was an avid roller blader at the time and was back at it in 3 weeks! Happy to hear you're on the upswing. Have a great Spring and Summer!! ❤
Hi Renee. I had a complete hysterectomy when I was 49. Don’t be surprised if you still have “period symptoms” for a few months post surgery. My doctor said sometimes it takes a while for your body to deal with the changes. It took me about 6 months before I was symptom free. But….you will feel much better after the surgery. Prayers for a speedy recovery. 🙏🏻
Great information for women to have I did all the house cleaning...food prep also and it was a great help for after surgery. Wishing you a smooth speedy recovery! 🙏😇👍🙂
Wow, that’s quite the list. I’m pretty positive that they just told me to show up..lol Luckily, it wasn’t a big deal, except for the incision hurt, so you’ll be great but having it done laparoscopicly. I had that with my gall bladder surgery, and having my stomach blown up was actually the only pain I felt. Not really pain, just so uncomfortable. Good luck!! 🍀
Good for you- So glad you are home and getting back to normal. It took me about 2 weeks before I felt normal again. I was lucky and did not need my pain meds after my hysterectomy. I look forward to hearing about your recovery. Hugs!
So glad that you are doing so much better. I am having mine on Tuesday. I'm thirty-seven and a manual wheelchair. I've been nesting all week preparing for surgery and recovery doing projects that I haven't wanted to do and the usual things. Going to change my sheets, clean my bathroom, vacuum, etc. on Monday. I have already food prepped several healthy things and froze them for recovery. I appreciate your suggestions.
You are a beautiful BLESSING,, you are so kind to all of us.. When you share information it helps people get trough their life with joy.. PLEASE take care of yourself,, it's your time to be kind to yourself !! Relax & try to enjoy it,, you'll be back to busy before you know it..!!! ❤️🤗❤️
I found the video where you explained the big reason why you chose this route. I would have done the same thing if those abnormal cells were found. Prayers for a quick smooth recovery!
Renee, your so well prepared and informed. I had my hysterectomy in August. I’m a RN and my only advice to you is to be compliant and follow your surgeon’s instructions, which I’m certain you will do. Prayers and wishes for a comfortable recovery. ❤
I’m doing very well. Just remember your body needs time to heal. You may want to push yourself, thinking that will help you recover more quickly, but your physiology has a different time frame. You will be impressed how well you will do. For me, the first 2-3 days were uncomfortable and slow moving. I did use my pain meds as prescribed during that time, then didn’t need it after that. They applied an abdominal binder while in the hospital and that was very helpful and kept me comfortable for days later. Glad you got the abdominal pillow for the ride home, will make a big difference. Don’t forget to drink lots of fluids, I know you know that 😉.
Dear Rene firstly, get well soon dear lady. You have and are approaching this procedure exactly right and I am sure will make a good recovery. I have had this done myself for chronic anaemia, once I recovered I felt like a new person and hopefully you will know what I mean soon enough. sending you big hugs and many healing wishes ♥️🙏🏻 Linda and Rufus 🐾🐾
I’m from Paducah! I’m living in VA, I’m almost 39 (on 01/13), but my hysterectomy is on 01/25/24. This actually has helped me out so much!!! Thank you so much! Best wishes!
i’m preparing by myself, this has been the best video so far - helpful tips and straightforward. thank you so much for taking the time to do this for others.
I missed the video of WHY you are doing this surgery. My doctor would Not give me a hysterectomy! He said I need the hormones & didn't think it's worth it. I had alternate/temporary things instead. I'm So glad I listened to him. Being in my 50s menopause was right around the corner.
Thanks very much for sharing the checklist and your doctor's instructions! That's very helpful as I was confused about some instructions from my doctor's office.
So glad you had the surgery and you are back home. Thank you for the video during such a busy time. Much love to you Renee and your family. Still sending you prayer vibes so that you will heal rapidly and will soon be full of energy and spunk.🌻🐥🐦👣👣👣😇
Omg! Your hair is absolutely beautiful 😍. Anyway, thanks for this. My surgery is in exactly one week and this was extremely helpful. I'm super excited to not have anymore painful cycles. 😊
I had a total abdominal hysterectomy last Friday and your videos definitely helped me to know how to prepare and what to expect. I do have 18 staples that need to come out on Thursday but I’m ready for it! Thanks for your help and ideas! ❤
Im glad i found your channel. I go on, June 20, for a complete hysterectomy. Im 46. Premenopausel.. My periods are horrible, the cramps are unbearable. Ive birthed 5 kids. 3 C-sections and 2 vaginal. Ty for all your information
Glad you are home! You rest and heal. Maxx and Pollux will stay by your warm side and look after their mama ! Prayers for you Renee ! Come back you tube when you feel like it .
I’m so glad I found your videos. I’m scheduled for laberscopic surgery on March 1 - enlarged uterus and large fibroid. Mine is 9.7 cm. They said they will start out as laberscopic but it might turn into open. Like you I have never had any surgery- so very anxious
I just had my complete hysterectomy an I did watch your videos before hand. I'm into my 4th day and am watching your videos again to compare my issues. I can't believe it but you are spot on with the way things are progressing and what I'm going thru. Thank you for helping me out and encouraging me the dos and don'ts I should not be doing. This is great!!! Kathy
5 days post op robotic hysterectomy and pelvic prolapse repair. Had 2 surgeons- 1 for hysterectomy and 1 for pelvic repair. Surgeon instructions included taking Gas X the night before the surgery and as needed after. Although pain meds were prescribed, I chose to take Tylenol or ibuprofen instead. So far they have done the job. As well as the stool softeners and Mirlax. Doing good, now the hardest thing is to remember not to pick up heavy items. Very thankful for the robot! Good luck!
Thank you so much for sharing y our surger. Its really helped me prepare for my own. I will make a note that My Dr said not to shave anything 5-4 days up to the surgery. due to any open mini wounds that might be open for infections. There are a lot of super bugs that might get in from hospital. Thanks again for sharing!
This video was so helpful. I received only minimal pre-op instructions from my surgeon (special wash the morning of surgery) but all these ideas are great. Thank you!
I had a total abdominal hysterectomy about 8 years ago now and I also recommend a nice hot/cold water bottle next to your bed too. I had one for hot tea and the other for water. I also used a pillow as a splint to get up and to help me sit back down. I don’t know if they recommend it (I’m a RN but have been away from the bedside for a while) I had an abdominal binder and boy was it nice. It helped me feel like everything was sucked in if that makes sense. But of course do what you’re surgical team recommends. Good luck with your recovery. It was the best thing I have ever done for myself.
I wish you the best and I will pray for a successful, quick surgery. You are fully prepared and with family and dogs on your side, you will do well afterward. Just gotta tell Pollux that he can't jump on Mom. When I had my wrist surgery (twice) - I had to keep my hand away from the doggies. It is definitely harder to keep a tummy out of the way. I'll be thinking of you and I'm sending tons of gentle hugs from Sweden.
Thank you for this video. I am about to have a hysterectomy and I too am going to have to drive two and a half hours to have mine. This was very helpful.
Thank you so much for this informative video! My surgery is next Wednesday and my doctor’s office has not been helpful at all. They have not told me hardly anything so I have been scanning RUclips and this is the best video I have seen so far! By the way, you have the most beautiful hair I have ever seen I wish I had your curls!
Oh my goodness how wonderful your doctor had these great tips for you! I was kinda blindsided, I had 2 days to "prepare" for my Divinci Full Hysterectomy when I was about 25 years old. I was also in terrible pain the three weeks before. Like, I can't stand straight or lay straight pain. I took ibuprofen the first two days after, and then extra-strength Tylenol a few times after that. I feel like recovering from my belly button piercing was worse! You are going to do fantastic through this, I'm sure you will just wish you had done it sooner. I can hardly wait until you feel like a brand-new energetic and healthy woman. You have suffered way too long. I'll be thinking of you and sending love your way... Starting now!
Best of luck to you. I had a hysterectomy in the early 90's, and it was done vaginally. Somehow, that seems like it would make for an easier recovery. Your surgical team is way on the ball for you. I wish i had your hair.
I was supposed to have a laparoscopic hysterectomy as well but someone in the OR miscounted surgical gauze and I had to be cut open as well! 5 hole scars and an incision that was 6 inches across. It was supposed to be a 4-6 hr surgery but ended up lasting 8 hrs. I was 34 years old and I recovered quickly. After 1 day I asked my GYN to change the daily hormone pill to the twice a week hormone patch. Best decision I ever made. Only 1 adjustment in dosage and I've been fine now for 25 years. Once things are leveled out for you, you'll be so happy not to have those past troubles. Get well soon!!
Oh my gosh!!! That is horrible! I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine the pain you were in PLUS the frustration for the entire experience. I will be starting hormones in about 4 weeks and I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the info!
You are so well-prepared! Thank you for sharing so that others facing this surgery will know a little of what to expect. Great tips and prayers for a speedy recovery!❤
I've had several surgeries, and I hadn't heard about mints afterwards, that's a great tip! Also, gas relief pills are a must, because I had trapped gas in the chest area before - literally thought I was having a heart attack - I wasn't, but I still remember that from long ago. The travel pillow was an excellent idea too - can't be too prepared for something like this!! Saw your facebook posts, I'm glad your surgery went well and want to hear all about it in your next video!
Hi Missy! That little travel pillow is a MUST HAVE! My surgery was 12 days ago...and I still use that pillow every time I get in the car. Plus I grab it if I have to cough or sneeze. It's a lifesaver! And yes....the trapped gas is bad. It was in my shoulders on Day 1....and it aches horribly.
About 20 yrs ago, I had laparascopy surgery to remove my gallbladder and the trapped gas was excruciating - I thought I was having a heart attack as well, but no one told me about gas pills ... information is power!
I hope you feel better soon. I was wondering why you didn’t get a bigger bottle of Miralax.😜 Sounds like you did a great job getting ahead of this. Prayers for you for a speedy recovery.
The mints is a new one for me.... I never had any problem with my surgery....I know you have alot of support and you'll do well👍 🙏Prayers coming your way.....
Your pre-op information was great! I thought I was going to get to sleep for the first two days! But oh no, the instructions want you up and moving. I’ve gone to naturopaths for 45 years so I don’t never have taken an aspirin. I felt I didn’t need anything but knew you didn’t want the pain to get ahead of you. I took nothing after the first day. Nothing the doctor told her to take, helped my daughter get her bowels moving, so I told her to do an enema and that released the “plug” they talked about!
Renee hope all go well with you after all these thats going on with you. Im now here in the Philippines for good. After my spinal surgery.keep safe n healthy.
I'll be praying for you. I found your channel when my Obgyn and I thought I had fibroids. Turns out that I have uterine cancer. I'm waiting for a CT scan to see if the cancer has spread. Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
Oh Barbara! I'm sorry to hear that. My mother had Stage 1 uterine cancer...and I had abnormal cells in my cervix. Add that to my enormous fibroid...and that's why I had a total hysterectomy. Hopefully you will get good news from your CT scan and the hysterectomy will take care of the issue 💗
Wow things has changed alot since the late 90's when I had my partial hysterectomy at the age of 29. I was going to suggest a pillow or a rolled blanket but you got that covered. 👍 You will be in my prayers🙏 God bess
Hi Renee, Wow you were soo prepared, i hope you had a speedy recovery. Im in the Uk and having surgery and ive NOT been given any advice except for fasting after 2am. So soo glad ive come across your video xx
This is super helpful. Thank you. I am having a total hysterectomy in four weeks and I’m very nervous about it. I am making a checklist. I think it’s a good idea that you suggested trying out the MiraLAX to see how your body responds and to do it before surgery. I’m going to pick some up tomorrow and give it a try.
@@aubsesque it went better than expected. Surgery itself was about four hours. The first few days I walked around slowly but I was able to get around. I had a one day supply of heavy duty pain medicine and you 600 mg ibuprofen after that which really helped. The MiraLAX is great. I had neighbors help me take my trash out because I couldn’t lift the bag. I was already passed menopause so I have had no symptoms so I can’t speak to what you will experience if you are having your ovaries taken out. Like I said I was already a couple of years past menopause. I waited two weeks to drive to give my body extra rest and then a total of six weeks before going back to work. I’m so glad I did it. No more ginormous fibroids and no more pain. Wishing you the best with your upcoming surgery.
I admire how you share valuable information and you are not embarrassed to do so. I had a hysterectomy many years ago and based on what you told us, things have changed. I like the checklist of things to have on hand and I’m sure they helped. I am so glad you had this done; believe me, you will feel so much better!
Howdy from snowy Michigan. This is my first time commenting 😊. I stumbled upon your channel after your Christmas crack video appeared out of the blue. I immediately made it that day and I have been addicted to it, the dogs, and your interesting channel ever since. I am still playing catch up😵💫. Anywho, I was the proud recipient of a total hysterectomy at age 29 due to endometriosis, fibroids, adhesions, and who knows what else. Turns out, I have autoimmune disease, but that wasn’t figured out until 20 years later when other things surfaced. I’ll be 59 in July and currently in remission after losing my colon 2 years ago. Back to the topic…at 29, I was catapulted into surgical menopause😵💫…HRT did the trick, and later I was taken off after my Gyn told me that the pituitary gland would begin to release some estrogen. Apparently it did because I have been hot flash free ever since. The neatest thing about the whole experience was the distinguished honor of being the one questioned by and telling my late Mother all about what to expect when she had her total hysterectomy 7 years after me😛. I am now telling my Sister who will turn 60 next month. Okayyyyy the rambling has begun, so I will end it here. Good to meet ya 👋….back to lurking…Bye everybody.
Thank you for this video! My surgery is in a few days and I’m really nervous. The pillow is a good idea. My drive is almost two hours as well. I’m watching your after surgery next. Hope you are well.
YAY! No more periods! I was so happy about that BUT what I wasn't told is when you take the engine out of the car, you have to push it all the way to the store, meaning I went from frisky to no thank you. That isn't the fun part of this. I had to remind hubby is wasn't him and told him the car analogy. It's really hard to get a car moving down the road without an engine. Just know that ahead of time so you aren't surprised if that is your issue Renee. I do take care of my husband and things are just fine, a little different but fine. Congrats on this procedure and I hope everything went well.
Renee you got it all covered. 💯 Setting yourself up for a successfull surgery & recovery. All this planning, prepping is why you feel ready, not scared or stressed. Glad your home and hope you enjoy reading all the comments and support your receiving. This was a great video and I'm certain will help women looking for answers on this topic. Thanks for sharing. Take care🤗🌷
I hope you are recovering well Renee and all the great information and personal experiences help a lot of women. I know how you must have felt having those horrendous periods. I suffered for years. It affected all parts of my life and my career as a nurse. Gladly, that’s all behind me now. Take care! ❤
I know you will come through it great. You are so well prepared in advance. Wow - never heard of that whole body wash/scrub protocol before. That's interesting. And yeah, pumping your tummy with gas is painful, but if you've had babies, it's doable (LOL). The best of luck, and see you afterwards. Hugs, Kisses, and Best Wishes.
My hysterectomy is behind me now, and I'm home recovering. Each one of the items I shared in the video is truly needed. The travel pillow and Miralax have saved me many times!!

Glad to hear you are home now and everything went great...just take this time now to relax and don't do a thing, just RELAX😊
Hi Renee, so glad to hear you’re on the other side of your surgery and on the road to recovery. Continued prayers for your recovery. ❤️
Great to hear you are back at home. Don't over do it. I know it's probably hard for you to just be able to sit and relax because you are such an active person. But the more you can take care of yourself now, the quicker you will be able to get back to your routine.

Good luck, mine also scheduled on same day.
Awe Renee, so glad it’s behind you & you’re home resting. Here’s to a speedy recovery love!
i’m preparing by myself, this has been the best video so far - helpful tips and straightforward. thank you so much for taking the time to do this for others.
Hope you get a fast recovery ! You are in my thoughts 😘💪😎🐕🦺
I respect your sharing this with us. If you don't mind my sharing this: your hair looks perfectly gorgeous!!!!!
Thank you Karen! I've implement some new styling techniques with my hair...and my video coming out Friday is all about it. Stay tuned!
Omg! Your hair is absolutely beautiful 😍. Anyway, thanks for this. My surgery is in exactly one week and this was extremely helpful. I'm super excited to not have anymore painful cycles. 😊
You are so welcome! I have several videos on my actual surgery and recovery. They might be helpful to you also. Best wishes!
Saving a prayer for you, your surgeon, nurses, and the Anesthesiologist. 🙏❤️
I had a total abdominal hysterectomy last Friday and your videos definitely helped me to know how to prepare and what to expect. I do have 18 staples that need to come out on Thursday but I’m ready for it! Thanks for your help and ideas! ❤
So glad my video was helpful! Best wishes to you and love that you are feeling better already!
Kathy
So glad my video are helpful! I've documented everything up to my one-year hysterectomy anniversary. Wishing you the very best!
Good morning! Kudos to you! All the information you are sharing will help so many! Hope you have a great day!
Good luck!
Sounds like your well on your way to recovery! Congratulations 😊
You are a awesome strong lady, you will be okay, , I had the same surgery on February 10, had no problem recovering, we love you
This video was so helpful. I received only minimal pre-op instructions from my surgeon (special wash the morning of surgery) but all these ideas are great. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Best wishes to you 💗
I'm in the hospital right now about to have my hysterectomy. These were great tips.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I'll have you in my thoughts today 💗
So glad I found your video. Im 74 yo and having robotic hysterectomy sept 27 for a prolapsed uterus. Super nervous....
I'll be thinking of you on the 27th and sending positive vibes.
Renee, You are a wonderful ❤️ Beautiful lady. I've been praying for you 🙏🏼 Tyfs. You are a great inspiration.
Thank you so much!
I’m truly hoping all goes well and your recover smoothly! Best, best wishes Renee!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. I am about to have a hysterectomy and I too am going to have to drive two and a half hours to have mine. This was very helpful.
You are so welcome! Be prepared for the car ride....it's not fun! I had a 2 hour drive home myself. The travel pillow is a MUST. Best wishes!
Praying for a speedy recovery ! Who is taking care of your fur babies .
I did a lot of that before my knee replacement. I even bought me new PJs. And new sheets.
You got fancy!! But I love it!
Great suggestions! I had the same surgery - don’t forget pads for bleeding.
Came for the content! But Your hair is fabulous. 🤩 made me stay to watch & subscribe. 💪🏽💐♥️
You are so well-prepared! Thank you for sharing so that others facing this surgery will know a little of what to expect. Great tips and prayers for a speedy recovery!❤
My hysterectomy and bladder tuck and tie was 3 weeks ago. I have done quite well. Just obey your dr's instructions.
Fantastic! So glad to hear you're healing nicely 💗
@@AidaJof No one told me either about the gas pills, I wish they did because I sure remember the incident!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. You’ll do fine. I worry about your ride home.
Thanks SO much for making this video. I'm really nervous about my surgery coming up, but this made me feel much more prepared.
I hope you feel better soon. I was wondering why you didn’t get a bigger bottle of Miralax.😜 Sounds like you did a great job getting ahead of this. Prayers for you for a speedy recovery.
When I bought the Miralax, I just wasn't sure about it. But it works great! And I'll be getting so it will always be in my cabinet.
THIS IS GOOD INFORMATION FOR ANY SURGERY. I WISH I HAD KNOWN IT FOR MY HYSTERECTOMY. THANK YOU
Thank you!!!
The mints is a new one for me....
I never had any problem with my surgery....I know you have alot of support and you'll do well👍
🙏Prayers coming your way.....
And the mint was news to me too....
Thank you for sharing! I'm having a robotic laproscopic hysterectomy next week! This was very helpful! I hope your surgery went well!
Best of luck to you. My surgery was a year ago and I’m feeling fantastic now!
@@WelcomeToMyCurls I'm hopeful too. Hoping that they've caught in time.
hope youre feeling ok now, ive had a total life change from mine and its been amazing!
Renee sounds like your prepared. I’m praying all goes good.
Wow things has changed alot since the late 90's when I had my partial hysterectomy at the age of 29. I was going to suggest a pillow or a rolled blanket but you got that covered. 👍 You will be in my prayers🙏 God bess
I have the pillow and sooooo glad I did. I've used it many many times already!
Wow! My doctor didn't tell me to have any of this stuff on hand when I had my hysterectomy .
I’m going to pick some up tomorrow and give it a try.
how did it go? I'm 41 and having one in 3 weeks. I'm starting to feel super scared about the menopause
You will feel so much better! I put mine off for 2 years after my doctor suggested it, so silly I know. Sending love and prayers from Texas.
Good luck tomorrow. Sending hopes for a speedy recovery.
Very organized! Hope you’re recovering well ❤
Thank you!! 😊
All the best Renee. YOU GOT THIS!
I admire how you share valuable information and you are not embarrassed to do so. I had a hysterectomy many years ago and based on what you told us, things have changed. I like the checklist of things to have on hand and I’m sure they helped. I am so glad you had this done; believe me, you will feel so much better!
Thank you so much!
Very helpful list for my upcoming surgery! Very thorough!
Best wishes to you on surgery day 💕
Howdy from snowy Michigan.
So glad you loved the Christmas Crack!! It's my holiday favorite :) And welcome to my channel!
Thank you for this checklist. I will get my surgery date next week and I want to make sure I have everything I might need!
Thank you for this video! My surgery is in a few days and I’m really nervous. The pillow is a good idea. My drive is almost two hours as well. I’m watching your after surgery next. Hope you are well.
Hi! Absolutely get a pillow…the car ride will be miserable so prepare yourself. Sending positives vibes your way 💕
Welcome to The Tribe. Keep lots of creams, conditioners, and lotions handy. It's a desert out here 😁
LOL that’s what I’m hearing! Guess I’ll deal with it when the time comes 🥰
Sending love and healing light for a speedy recovery 💜💜🙏🏼🙏🏼
LOL love that analogy!!! Thanks for sharing ❤️
Thank you for sharing your prep tips.
Take care🤗🌷
I hope your recovery is going well .
Hi Renee, will keep you in prayer. I'm sure everything will go as planned, including recovery.
Thank you so much!
I hope you are recovering well Renee and all the great information and personal experiences help a lot of women. I know how you must have felt having those horrendous periods. I suffered for years. It affected all parts of my life and my career as a nurse. Gladly, that’s all behind me now. Take care! ❤
You're such a sweetheart for sharing all of this! Good luck and God bless in your recovery...
Hi Renee - keeping you in my prayers
I know you will come through it great. You are so well prepared in advance. Wow - never heard of that whole body wash/scrub protocol before. That's interesting. And yeah, pumping your tummy with gas is painful, but if you've had babies, it's doable (LOL). The best of luck, and see you afterwards. Hugs, Kisses, and Best Wishes.
Better after this operation 💖 I had it at 47…. Don’t worry
Best of luck and lots of well wishes. Thank you for sharing so many details. Really helpful for all women who may have to have this done. ❤
