    You shared such valuable information. I wanted to say thank you very much. I'm in my 60's and recently had the procedure. I had incredible care before, during, and after. Your honesty and sincerity came through. You were very thorough and very helpful. You touched on topics I didn't think about, but I'm sure will be helpful and useful to someone who checks out this well done video. Blessings to you and yours.

    I’m having one in the morning, and being able to rest is one of my biggest fears. I have three kids who are just tornadoes and I don’t know how to keep up with them and the house. I’m just not used to not taking care of someone.

    • @BabywiseMom
      @BabywiseMom  Год назад

      I hope you are able to rest and rely on some help for your kids. I like to avoid screen time overload, but if you have to do this primarily on your own, I would definitely allow the screen time to go up. All of you can sit and watch movies together. It will take some detox when you are done, but you NEED to rest. And get your kids to help you! Kids love to help. So have them run and do things for you and get things for you. You can also do things like have your kids put on a play for you or act out their favorite movie for you.

      You should be able to, but you will definitely want to talk with your doctor and also wait and see how you are feeling. I wouldn't be committed to it in case you end up not feeling well enough to go. So I would have everything able to be canceled.

      I'm fine now. Do what the doctor says when preparing for the surgery. I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy but I still have my ovaries which is weird. I was in overnight. And a lot of pain. It took at least almost 2 months to fully recover. When I was home I drank peppermint tea for the relaxing of tummy and you have to try and get up and walk a little bit daily. The Drs are there for you to call if needed. You need a íce pack. Your throat will fill like it's sore. The hospital did give me a thing to breathe into at home all the to get the gas out of you. What they do for prep is fill your stomach with air so they can see everything in there, and they do try to get as much out when done. You're gonna be on a long period afterwards. For the entire healing process. The doctor give you a prep of how to prepare the night before.

    What type of hysterectomy did you have if you don’t mind me asking? It sounds like it was not minimally invasive like laparoscopic.
