Pleasant, informative, lots of useful info in this post. Puns, “notch up” and “dark side” a plus.😊 Did you take the pics shown? Voice enhance - second take less clear, but fountain less noticeable, IMO.

Thanks a lot! Yes I took all the pics in the video. And about Voice Enhance that's what I noticed too, its not as much as the voice is enhanced in any way, but its trying to muffle any background noise. And indeed it goes into macro mode automatically! It's pretty cool because its using the ultrawide lens' capabilities but without the ultrawide look, if that's what you want (you can also set it to not change lenses automatically)
Both phones have the same camera but only the pro gets the pro software treatment.
That's how they role nowadays all the big ass companies

I was very concerned with mine when i got it, I've never spent this much on a phone before and it did not perform well for the first fortnight at all - stuttery, apps crashing, just a general feeling of "wish I'd gone with iPhone", lol.
But now, especially after the update about a week ago, it's performing fine, thankfully. Only issue i get is if i go somewhere i haven't connected to the WiFi for a few days, like my parents or a coffee shop, i have to restart the phone to get it to connect, which isn't ideal, but I can live with that.
Interesting, I haven't experienced something like that, but I'm glad the issues are for the most part gone now, cheers!

I had an unlocked 7a lying around and tried it for a week. It had really bad connectivity issues and also was fairly jittery when scrolling even when forced to max refresh in dev options. I want to love Pixels, but the last one i genuinely enjoyed was the larger 4 model.

amazing video, just one thing i felt which i hope you take as a constructive criticism is that i feel you are way too close to the camera in shot where you are explaining things. I constantly felt as if i had zoomed in or as if a constant care of borders cutting top and bottom. Not sure if i am making sense to you but i felt like this small change can improve people's engagement with your videos.

what P8P lacks is ultrasonic scanner and face-id like the Iphone use with it´s three dimensional face recognition that is more reliable and secure than the two-dimensional in P8P.
the smart-watch is way too small and hope to see Google offer a much larger one.
Yes , I couldn’t agree more on the Face ID and fingerprint sensor , these are two areas that google should have put a bit more coin and effort into.
The Face ID and finger print sensor are hit and miss at best of times and just plain annoying at times.
Without mentioning this to my young brother, I asked him how his pixel 7 was going , and his response was “ it goes alright , but the face recognition and on screen finger print sensor are not good.
Clearly google needs to do better in this area , maybe next year will be better.
Thanks a lot! I agree, even with the improved version of the face scanning from only this one camera sensor, I wouldn't really trust it with important stuff, like Bank Apps tbh. But there's something to be said about being able to do more with less as well, just like Tesla is trying to do all their self driving stuff without Lidar nowadays. Not too trust inspiring for sure tho 😁
I returned mine bc i can't use 5G in this country, it's a good phone, but that restriction has no sense...

I had the pixel.8 pro for a few weeks. Its as stuttery as ever with jelly scrolling etc. dont gwt me wring its fast. But stutters. Had the same on my pixel 7 pro. Hasten to say it went back. My oneplus 11 is just so much smoother. And even my work phone the s23ultra is smother. Come on pixel its your operating aystem yet others are better at it.

My 8 pro is buttery smooth with no stutters.

@@nitesh14able to answer as a "fake" acc too (idk why youtube gives me an id as username while i get messages / responses with my real name. maybe since im not 100% verified, could be. but i heard it a lot that the p8 somehow stutters, i suspect a software issue and prob ppl didnt tried to even fix it. some said even apps didnt worked and he took 2 days to find out that he just had to restart the phone. i mean u can clearly see when even some ppl complain about the "camera bump" it lays more/most stable vs any other phone (tho i recommend a case since my pixel 7 is very slippy on a flat surface)
@@nitesh14ablemy 8 pro is quite stuttery as well. Same as my 7 pro and 6 pro. Actually the 6 pro dropped less frames than my 8 Pro. Some people are more sensitive to stutters and microstutters like me. My bro thinks it's super smooth and I beg to differ. Not hating at all. I love pixels but they need to fix it asap. It's been going on 3 years and it's still there. Such a shame it's a good phone
