In this video we take a look at the all new Google Pixel 8 Pro, and talk about why this new Android phone by Google is a total game changer. As someone who's always felt complete by using Samsung's latest flagship (in the Galaxy S23 Ultra) I found myself pulled into the hype of this all new Google Pixel 8 Pro. This year's pixel phone line up is loaded with a number of features that not only include new hardware, but also top level software comboed with AI and machine learning work. The Pixel 8 Pro camera is out of control this year, and is another contributing reason for my switching from the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to the new Google Pixel 8 Pro. You are right about everything you said especially about the 7 years. Tech influencers are the worst. Complaining with it was 3 years and the complain when it's 7 wtf
I don't think tech influencers are complaining they are just saying that THE PHONE MIGHT NOT LAST 7 YEARS. that's not a complain. And the main reason why they are skeptical its because google are known to go back on its words. The main reason why they want to support it for 7 years its because for resale value also.

I made the switch as well and will wait for the s24 ultra launch. Not much of a gamer and the Pixel 8 Pro works perfect for average daily use.

I switch between the 7 pro and the s23 ultra. Probably should have got the 8 pro but the 7 pro just works great for me.

Another potential video topic could be evaluating the differences between the 8 and 8 Pro and whether or not it is worth it to pay more for the Pro. Several of the camera/editing features are for now exclusively only on the Pro version.

I like the fact that Pixel can have alternative OS but damn S23 Ultra is a beast !

Ivan I'm on the fence interested in the Pixel 8 Pro always had Samsung phones but looking to make a change I currently have the Note 10 so probably would be an improvement. What you think.
Truly best phone I've had. Pixel 8 pro. And I've always use to have either Samsung or OnePlus phones. I never looked back. My previous phone was the pixel 7 pro.

Switching from the 13 pro max ! Can’t wait !
I got 8 pro recently and I have felt that in still shots, it exposes the sky more than usual so exposure control is not good in the current state. Secondly, it does not capture artificial lights (such as lamps/bulbs) correctly and the flair is way too much for my liking as compared to my earlier owned Pixel 6.
Hoping to get a fix on those soon. Fingers crossed.

Idk why but my p8 pro heats sometimes on normal use, like it exceeds 45 degree C
Thanks Ivan. How do the screen colours compare to Samsung S23 Ultra? In your review you say it's very colorful but my experience is the opposite. The colours are washed out on mine. I read more people have this issue.
Compared to my 2 other phones the P8P is just really washed out.
Interesting. Im doing deeper comparisons now, and will drop the versus video on both. So far looks good, but will keep you all posted.
How does the modem compare to the S23U? Nobody ever talks about that.
That’s because they don’t have enough battery life life after using the modem, lol. It’s the same as last year. Returned my pixel 8 yesterday. Ok phone but too many issues. Don’t feel like being a beta tester again, especially at a higher price.
@@hhhmmmmmmmm didn’t see it mentioned anywhere so I figured it was the same. I preordered the 8 pro but ended up canceling because the ship date was a month off. Ended up just going with the 15 pro max.

You have multiple phones so you'll be fine, but the Pixels end up having bugs after around the three month mark. It happened with my Pixel 7 pro.
Can you review this again in six months assuming that you keep it as your primary phone?

Battery life is not good at all. It is the worst I have ever experienced. 5G drains the battery fast as hell. Don't leave the house without a battery pack.
Would you wait for the S24 or buy the Pixel 8 Pro?
