I never knew what I was geting into and it sure wasn't what I expected. However I'll never regret joining, the Corps made me grow up and shapped my life to this day.
my son is a recent graduate from mcrd san Diego. after boot leave he went back to the same place, ironically. because during recruit training the week before they went to Pendleton he broke his leg, then 3 fucking months later he was rolled back into a platoon, made it to the crucible then broke his foot on the other leg, on the first day, but he kept his mouth shut, because there was NOTHING that would have drug him off that hill, as soon as he was given his eg&a and their little ceremony, they came and took him in. he didnt get to march in the graduation parade, but after two full cycles, he was ready to get the hell out of there. plus he had his eg&a, he had made it, he was a MARINE. the ONLY thing he EVER wanted to be since he was 6 years old. its the only thing he wanted to ever be. but now, he setting in bmp, just hating life again. but hes really close to getting passed up, likely this wed. so fingers crossed, hell begin to do the "marine stuff" that he is soo hungry for. thank you for your service.
Damn he sounds like a fighter! Give him my best. Staying positive is key! He sounds like a hell of an individual and it seems like you raised him right! He just needs to not let this shitty unfortunate situation get to him. Best of luck to him! Semper Fi!🇺🇸
Hell yea bro, Semper Fi! How was it? Probably nothing like you expected.. If you’re interested, you should join the Discord Community. I’m trying to get Marines in there to help with questions. You could give some great advice to those who are still in the process! discord.gg/qjGW9S9bq3
I had buddies that talked shit about me being so outgoing in the Corps. They’d always give me shit for talking to people and getting to know everyone. It’s not about what you it’s about who you know! Thanks for the comment and Semper Fi, brother!🇺🇸
yes I'm glad I joined the marines back in 2008 and got out in 2012 the benefits worked in my favor at the end regardless of the tough training, deployment and even some bad leadership while I was in
Really excited to do marine infantry, hoping to travel a decent amount I wanna use all my leave time to go budget backpacking to different countries, like 5 days a country, hopefully get to use my 30 days a year
Join the marines infantry or go to college for archeology, I’m stuck idk what to do. Both will take 4 years of my life and both guarantee nothing after. I’m so stressed about this. I really just want to earn money and feel passionate about it I don’t want to hate my job. I want to make mom proud. I’m 21 y/o
I’m halfway through my contract and I would say do it because you do not wanna live life with regrets later down the road. Use the military as a stepping stone
What’s up bro, I just completed mct I’m graduating tomorrow and shipping to motor t operator school Wednesday in Missouri, any advice you could give me bro?
What’s up brother! Get ready to PT a lot. We ran a shit ton at Fort Leonard Wood. It was pretty chill other than that. Join the Discord Community, it’s easier to reach me on there! discord.gg/jbDhpa6ayB
My friend was in the marines, posted on Instagram marines pics , and he randomly got out , and I asking him what happened your out all ready what happened,he got mad if I asked , he probably got kicked out. But did not won’t to tell anyone. Maybe a discharge.
It seems like the Marines have more cases of that kind of stuff happening than in any other branch. Most Marines I see do 4 years or less and then get out.
I'm glad you found it helpful! I post at least one new video every Monday at around 1 PM Central Time. More depending on how busy I am during the week. Join our Discord Community! discord.gg/gXKzPVMqyh
Once you hit the fleet she can move out. And BAH is given to married Marines. Not sure if you’ll receive it while in Boot Camp if you’re married before you join though!

Networking is number 1. My post Corps career was more successful than anything I could have done if I stayed in my hometown.

Con No. 5 should be No. 1
What was your rank when you were pulling in $1800 to live other than barracks? Did u mention u were married to make that much or as a single marine?
I was married receiving a housing allowance.
Don't get married as a Boot!!!
Truth!
@@ForTheCorps why?
Hey man how long did it take to have your wife live with you after graduating bootcamp?
Also I’m interested in joining the infantry so would that mean it would take longer for us to qualify for BAH?
Once you hit the fleet she can move out. And BAH is given to married Marines. Not sure if you’ll receive it while in Boot Camp if you’re married before you join though!
Ok thanks man appreciate it!
First comnent
Love it!
Hey man just wanted to say I love your channel it’s helped me a lot in my decision
Thanks brother! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions man and keep in touch!
