The reality is if the USA can with top secret weapons, you won’t know they exist. The USA is very smart and doesn’t brag about it capabilities. It catches enemies off guard. For example, during Desert storm USA I was using GPS with Abraham tanks was one of the biggest reasons why they were so successful.

All test launches of that ICBM has failed, which is Russias only ICBM with the older ones being retired.
Their IRBM which they just launched to scare the west "With something that has existed for 60 years" is just one single IRBM, and that can't reach the U'S, it can however reach all over Europe.
An ICBM is a very expensive system to make and maintain, and with a country with the ecconomyy similar to Italy, mass producing these systems is very hard.
Lets also not forget that the U.S spends 50 billion dollars a year maintaining their nukes, and thats only the nukes.
Russia's entire military budget before the war was 70 billion dollars a year, and a lot of that is filled with corruption.
Both nukes and ICBM's are very expensive to make and maintain.
If Russia were to use nukes cheaply, they would deliver them by ordinairy missiles, or hypersonic ones, which Putin claimed could not be shot down, and then they were shot down by Ukrainian Patriot systems handed to them by the west, systems who is of the 1990's technology

The system is to detect wether the enemy of the americans launches missiles not primarily to take it down but to prepare for counter attack so that they can lauch missiles before the enemies hit them first and russians knew this..!🤨🤨🤨

Here's the problem with retaliatory strike, since we're talking about missile systems from the 50 - 90s predominantly minute man, trident, etc old obselete and limited compared to the missile defense of other nations, and the reality that some capabilities to launch a retaliatory strike will be eliminated, you will certainly loose. I don't think population centers for the sake of chaos population attacks seem to be western and their proxy tactics why waste resources when you have adequate strategic targets to consider. By default populations will be effected near those locations.
