Don't listen to the haters dude. So what if you're a bit fluffy? You're one of the people on youtube that convinced me it was possible to eat varied food on this diet and not get bored, wich then lead me to start it a few days ago after doing research for months. On day 3 I can say I feel really good, with much less joint pains than I've had for years, so thanks! Keep on doing you!

Hey. Just found you by looking at your mayo recipe. Thank God you are normal!!! You have encouraged me to try this again! I started carnivore many months ago and found it a little too restrictive. So I eat.healthy (maybe) from around 12 noon to 4pm and then have some good beef with fat and be done by 4:30. Then water or unsweetened tea and then off to bed. (I always start the day eating my first meal around noon and it is all protein. A little snack around 2 ( usually a few crackers and chive cream cheese) then meat at night with plenty of good fat. This lifestyle got rid of my diabetes!!! Thanks for your channel. Can't wait to start trying your recipes!! God Bless!❤

Thank you. Im 72, and I have been struggling with body shaming and weight for around 60 yrs. Even when I was in my teens & and 20s when I thought I looked good, unfortunately, curves weren't the style. So last year, i heard about the carnivor diet from my son. It was great. I felt good and really liked now being able to eat meat cooked with flavor and good fats. But after a while, i fell off. The shame, the fear of people saying knew you'd fell. All i had achieved, i lost. But with the new year, i decided to get back on track. I heard your talk. Your honesty and understanding made me feel, its ok. im not perfect, but I'm trying. So thank you, you have given me hope, im not alone.

Thank you for being honest. It's so refreshing. My mother, who was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 1958 or 59, had surgery to remove a large portion of her stomach, lived cancer free from then on. In 2014, she passed at the ripe old age of 93. She didn't hold to any diet. She ate wisely, wasn't a sugar addict, and always told me that the worry I live in is what will make me sick. Wiser words were never spoken. She loved people deeply. My mom was, and I am, a strong Christian believer, so she would throw that in, too. Do the best you can to be kind to your body. Stay balanced, which is what it sounds like you're doing. Live in joy. Be free. Don't worry. Blessings on your life and all of your hard work! Thank you for caring about others. Keep up the good work!

I think this is a healthy decision for you. As much as I appreciate all of the helpful information that carnivore influencers provide, I think it can lead to an unhealthy sense of identity when your entire brand hinges on a diet that is very difficult to stick with. After having tried all of the healthy/alternative diets from high carb vegan to no carb carnivore, I can honestly say that carnivore is the one diet that solves my health issues (eczema, depression, weight loss, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, chronic pain, etc. ). Even with that fact, I would never want to evangelize this diet to random people on the internet. You can find examples of people being successful in terms of health and weight loss on so many different diets out there. I really think it boils down to the individual and what works best for them. The common denominator is simply get off the Standard America Diet, eat real food, get good sleep and move more.

The battle is real. Finding what works is a journey. And there is no cookie cutter diet that is going to work for everybody. It is up to each of us to find out what works for us. I have “Becoming a Carnivorous Chef”, and I love what I can do with pork rinds! I make rum and maple donuts, English muffins, breading. I haven’t done the hamburger bun yet. I don’t have problems with eating sweets and I haven’t eaten grains or sugars for a very long time. My advantage is I’ve been sober since 1987 and I have lupus so restricted eating is a normal thing for me. So many don’t have this background and can feel deprived. What I love about carnivore is the simplicity and the incredible variety of meat! Plus I don’t eat or buy plants so my food bill is much lower. Thanks for what you bring to this community.

I just found you and I find you a breath of fresh air. I've been carnivore for 5 months and I have not had the results it seems everyone else has. All this weight loss. I lost 12 lbs the first two weeks and that was it and in the last month gained 4 back. I started off strict carnivore. People say you need more fat, you need to eat more, you need to eat less. Everyone has different advice. I'm healing, don't expect to see weight loss while body is healing, yet others lose the weight and heal. I'm pretty discouraged and disillusioned, but I'm not giving up. I hope at some point I'll lose the 60 lbs I gained after having health issues from covid. It's financially rough time of season for me atm...and trying to eat more ground beef because it's cheaper was just unappetizing but wow, watched your recipe videos, just ordered some things that are okay for carnivore (at least I hope so...seems everyone else is eating them and it's acceptable) I was too strict, maybe ...I don't know...but you be you. You are valued and appreciated.

Hey Reed! Your so awesome and I do say that because I am a gushing lady and I just love honesty but also I adore the transparency. I must say I totally agree with you. I started doing Omada which is Amazing and one thing we do daily is weigh in if we want. Ya know I weighed myself every morning and the biggest shock was a 13 pound gain from 4 leaves of butter lettuce the very next day. I gained nothing from a coconut eggnog with cane sugar and I experimented with this more then once to make sure I knew what was was immediately making me gain weight. That in itself shows me why our ancient ancestors said Physician Heal Thyself because it's yourself you will get to know the best and we should definitely do what makes US healthy. There are many Keto and Carnivore people who can or cannot eat fruits starches and vegies so agreed we should do what is best for us. Congratulations on your many victories I am sure you will have many more and I hope to continue to see you in this community you have made our lives a whole lot easier with your abilities to make our mouths water! Happy New Year!

I have to say that I'm really fortunate to have reached a degree of ill health . . . that scared me, enough to get me on the carnivore way of eating to regain my health. I think it's easier motivationally when death is staring you in the fucking face. I wish I knew in my 20's what I know now in my 70's . . . more over, I wish my mom had known to NEVER serve carbohydrates.

Great channel … the key is your honesty and integrity … life is never easy … nor trying to seek better health and losing weight as a part of the process … the best thing we can all do is be honest with ourselves and do our best to be disciplined to be consistent and make good choices … for me carnivore works, and I actually like it … my problem is I let “head trash” enter at times … but it all comes down to making decisions … again, really enjoy your truthfulness … and I hope life is, and will continue to treat you with kindness … don’t forget, many people are encouraged and inspired by your story and journey … all the best … keep the content coming!!

It pisses me off that people have been mean and judgemental to you. I am 77 and have been carnivore now for 8 months. I have probably eaten a bit of something more keto about 5 times, and icecream that wasn't totally carnivore twice. I loved/love your videos and have missed them! We need a good carnivore restaurant where you could be the chef!

Just stumbled across your Chanel, I think you are wonderful in your honesty and approach to this way of eating, I don’t call it a diet as that implies restriction I call it a way of eating without restriction but using elimination of certain foods. I’ve been doing it a for a month not for weight loss but as someone that has multiple autoimmune issues I am finding I’m getting benefits from it already. It must be so hard working in the food industry my daughter is a chef and it’s a tough gig. Keep it up love some of your recipes

Thank you Reid! I have had a lot of success doing keto the last two years. Lost a lot of weight, lost several serious health conditions and lost many medications. I also gained a life. All that being said, I absolutely do not know how things might have gone for me if I had to be in a kitchen with ready made foods that I have an addiction to. (Sugar) I admire that you keep trying, you open yourself up to criticism by trying to help people with your videos. Please keep trying! You will find your way and it won’t look like anyone else’s way. Best wishes in the new year!

    Happy New Year!
I hope 2024 is a better year for everybody in all ways.
When I started (7 months ago) meat only Carnivore, water, salt and one coffee a day I was 339lb (154kg).
    Now I’m 229lb (104kg). I’m a 53 yo 6ft male.
I’m hoping to get to around 85kg or lower, but weight is only a small component. The biggest win was reversing: hospital functional liver test showed I was on the verge of Cirrhosis, severe decade plus long depression with suicidal thoughts, prediabetic, chronic sleep apnea, chronic hypertension.
All meds were reduced at around the first month and totally med free at 6 weeks.
Still have mild depression due to chronic lower back pain starting 12 years ago.
Did you know January is World Carnivore Month!!
Love your channel, I hope you have more and more success with it.

Hi! I want to thank you for all of the work you put into this and sharing your recipes. I just heard about carnivore about two months ago. I started easing into it first by cutting out sugar, then lowering carbs etc. until I got to carnivore. I definitely was feeling better the whole process and lost weight, but when I started eating just meat and butter, eggs and cheese, I just started feeling sick. And not keto flu sick, that wasn’t it. I felt very heavy and weighed down. the thought of meat was just 🤢. I was drinking water, I was taking LMNT, I thought I was doing everything right. I know that there can be changes with bathroom habits, but that really made me feel bad. I couldn’t keep it up. It is a very stressful time at work and some other things are going on and it was just too much. So, about 7 days ago I decided that I couldn’t stick to it so strictly. Unfortunately, because of the way I still handle stress and emotional issues, I’ve had a little bit of sugar every day. Not nearly what I used to have, but still, I know it’s not good. When school is done at the end of May, I would like to start over again on June 1 and try to do it for a month. I felt like a failure, but watching this really helped me feel better I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate everything you do and I’m using some of your recipes, I’m going to check out your cookbook too, thank you! 😊

I 1st went carnivore back in mid-August for 2 months, felt great, and learned a lot. Due to some situations, I feel off. Holidays didn't help ether😄. Back on it tomorrow full force with all the knowledge I gain and looking forward to feeling good again. I got to personally thank you, your recipes made getting through the cravings that would go against the carnivore diet easy. I'm more prepared from your help and others. Happy new years 🎉

SUGGESTION: Why not remain carnivore applying 5:2 fasting or 4:3 fasting? You could cheat on 5 or 4 days a week, or every other day. Then do strict carnivore on your “fast” days. It may be easier to stick to it if you know that you can eat whatever you want the next day.
Finally, please try to not allow anonymous trolls to affect you. Some of those folks are simply hurt people using anonymity to hurt others. Keep up the good, honest fight!! And thank you for sharing your experience, recipes with us.

Don’t give up! We all struggle. There are other carnivores who haven’t stayed thin and lean even though following carnivore long term. Keep putting out content on your channel. I’ve been a 100% vocal proponent of carnivore even though I’ve been on and off the wagon three times since 2020! (My first carnivore stint was just before lockdowns too. Everyone should try carnivore especially those who think it’s crazy! I challenge everyone to change the paradigm or food propaganda we’ve all been told for half a century!
