  • This 17 minute feel good yoga practice for the work day doesn't require a mat. I designed it with my office-bound people in mind, so you can do it standing near your desk or in a small space. There's a little bit of heart opening, a little bit of hip opening, some nice side body and upper back stretches and overall you should feel really good after the practice. I hope you enjoy!

    Excellent practice. You have a great, calm way to give detailed instructions without "interfering" with the practice. Thank you!

    Thanks for providing a standing sequence that doesn't need a mat. Really helped me and my pain relief this morning (still in confinement and my yoga mat is indefinitely with my elder neighbour to address her pain relief). =)

    I really liked this sequence. I did it outside in the sun. It is such a beautiful day where I live and it felt amazing to do yoga and to get some sun! Thank you, Candace. Namasté!

    This was perfect to work the space in my office. I found my arches cramp during tree pose but hopefully I can keep working on grounding myself to do it better every time.

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад +2

      Oh that's a great idea! I don't have any weights to use (I go to a gym), but I'll definitely consider it for the future, I think that would be really cool!

    Tree-pose makes the foot I am standing on cramp and hurt, what can I do to make that stop? As always amazing video. Your channel is my daily go to for feeling good. :) thank you.

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад +1

      Hmm, interesting. Try to relax the foot and focus on your breath. It sounds like perhaps you're kind of tensed up throughout your body and that's triggering a cramp?

    • @RaptorsCantSwim
      @RaptorsCantSwim 6 лет назад

      Perhaps yes. Ussally standing on one leg issnt a problem. I've tried playing around with where I put the weight on the foot, I think, perhaps, I am tiling a little on the foot causing weight to be unevenly distrbuted through the foot, causing tension. :) I love following your videos, it is a steady part of my morning routine. :)

    I really love and appreciate your channel! I was just wondering If there is some way I am doing forward folds incorrectly. Whenever I do one, i feel pain in my lower back and i have no idea why. This also happens when I do downward facing dogs, but other poses are fine. when the practice finishes, i always find that the pain is still lingering. Am I doing the poses incorrectly? Thank you so much!

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад

      Are you seated or standing in these forward folds? Either way, bend your legs a lot until belly comes against the thighs. Then just keep the belly there. Once the hamstrings open up, you'll be able to extend your legs completely. Just keep practicing. You may also want to sit on the edge of a yoga block or a blanket if you're really really tight through the hamstrings and it's a seated forward fold you're doing.
