I reread the Eclipse last night, and to my horror I realized that whole thing is about 14 chapters. This poor man will be experiencing one of the most devastating events in fiction for two weeks.
He doesn’t deserve that at all! I hope they have it all in one go and a longer vid drop!

just want to throw out to grandpa or whoever may struggle with what is about to transpire in the story: ultimately this is a story of hope and perseverance in the face of tragedy and devastation. while the eclipse is horrific, to stop reading at that point is to miss the true beauty in the message of the story.
The eclipse is a big deal but im excited to see his reaction to everything after

Hey I'm sure you get like a thousand warnings but this warning is serious.
When you start the fifth DV you genuinely are gonna want to close it immediately. And none of us blame you if you just stop there. I can promise that there are people who make it out of the nightmare you are going to experience okay, but a lot of terrible stuff is gonna happen to them first.
Now things do get better. The story calms down a little on the stakes of everything. But in order to get to lower stakes you are going to have to experience deep disgust, fear, hatred, and sadness.
