    This was the best golf this year. It was absolutely fantastic. Both players were epic. Still cannot believe bryson didn't make at least one of those 4 putts to win he had. Fair play to Cantlay for remaining calm and getting it done despite being behind the whole way

    PC must have ice water running thru his veins - this guy is clutch! Full credit for making such HUGE putts. And for those who are insisting that armlock should be banned due to 'unfair advantage' - I guess this shows how much of an "advantage" it really is.

    • @AB-nv7bz
      @AB-nv7bz 2 года назад +2

      Its definitely an advantage, but can't cure nerves. Just bad putts.
      I messed around with one at my local shop. Kind of want to convert my scotty. Only thing holding me back is spending $300, then get comfortable with it, then its banned.

    The morning I had to put my 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier down I went to San Gabriel CC in So Calif to follow Cantlay in his final rd od the So Cal Am Championships. He started the day birdie, eagle, birdie,eagle ....thats 6 under after 4 holes...he eventually won that day and he helped keep my mind off my dog. Didnt hit me till I got home to a cold empty house

    That was an absolutely class playoff. Sure bryson had chances there but the putting of Patrick was just insane! I'm sure bryson would have had it playing against someone else even with the missed puts.

    there is an olllllddd saying... Drive for show, putt for dough!! In that play off though Cantlay was Drive for dough and putt for more dough. 4 perfect drives down 18, with all that pressure, knowing you are 3 clubs behind DeChambeau, amazing example of sticking to your game!

    The confidence level that Bryson has with his driver is amazing. For him to just grip it and rip it even during a playoff was crazy to me, but his putting really let him down. Bryson easily could just ended the tournament on so many occasions. Cantlay's putting was just sickkkkkk

    I honestly can’t believe the PGA still has it where you have to play out of a divot when you hit a perfect drive in the fairway. They need to remove that rule for fairways. You’ve done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve having to play out of someone else’s divot on a perfect drive in the fairway

    DeChambeau really blew it with that atrocious chip shot on the 71st hole after Cantlay had hit his
    tee shot into the water. He should have been going to the 72nd hole with a two shot lead.
