Watch Garcia hit the diamond out of a Patron's ring and McIlroy land his tee shot in a fan's pocket in the latest episode of WHAT ARE THE ODDS?! - ruclips.net/video/-jDc5avQ9Xs/видео.html

I’ve always been a fan of golf when I was a kid (playing mostly, and watching if it happened to be on tv), and I have to say it’s really nice to see everyone (even the players) cheering on every player. I’ve never once heard booing or any animosity toward a player from watching golf it’s just really amazing to see. You know it’s a hard sport when every one in attendance cheers on people to have their best performance.
A few years back my buddy and I were playing and we couldn't find my drive in the rough. Looked for a few minutes and gave up. Then we find my buddy's drive, also in the rough, and my ball was directly underneath his. 245 yard drives ended up in the exact same spot. If I could attach a photo I would.
Many years ago my drive was in the semi rough and when I hit it another ball popped up from underneath mine. I picked it up and there was another ball underneath that! Could barely play my putt for laughing.

That first shot... pure rage quit material right there. 😆 I’m also glad they had the one clip of Nicklaus’ flagstick hiccup, but they should have left in his incredulous miming of the shot as he was walking down to the green...
It was worse than you think. This was at Q-school, on the 17th or 18th hole of the last day. If he had made that put he would have had his PGA card and been eligible to play most of the events. With the miss he was back to grinding.
@@fragileplane8062 Yes, from what I remember, the ball is still in motion so it counts; the other ball that wasnt moving before the collision goes back to its resting spot with no penalty

it is necessary to change the rules and put sensors so that a hit is considered a hit, even if the ball flies out of the pocket, as in any other sport (hockey, football, basketball)
Seriously, how did that first putt miss? It was rolling at a gentle pace and hit right in the middle. It was as if that cup had something wrong with it!
That happened to me once. I had never seen it happen in my life, and I'm nearly 70 years old now. This is the only other time I've seen it happen to someone.
It was probably a thick cup and a shallow hole, the ball rolled in to the back dead on and hit the top rim of the actual cup in the hole and back out kinda like a basketball hitting the rim type thing. Stars just had to align
My Aunt Billie, who passed away in 2010, became a TOTAL Fan of the Golf Channel for her last 8-10 years, even though she NEVER played a single game of golf. Wherever you are, Aunt Billie, I hope that you can see this video... (Her favorite PGA golfer was Tiger...)
Earlier this year, I was hitting my 7 iron about 150 yards from the flag, made a solid strike but on the follow through, I felt the club was a lot lighter than usual. Then I saw something else flew the direction of the flag in addition to the ball. It had low trajectory and was glittering against the sun. I looked down at my iron, the head was missing and went 100 yards ahead. Miraculously my ball landed on the green and about 12 feet from the cup, I proceeded to sink in for a birdie. My buddy went nuts and couldn’t stop telling people about it. Wildest shot ever.
I did this exact same thing with a rental driver but the head went so far it went past the trees on the other side of the green and over a cart path and we weren’t able to find it😂
Thanks for posting this. So much fun. I know someone who took the day off work by calling in sick to attend a Masters event. Whilst there he was hit by a stray ball off the tee and as the golfer came over to see if he was okay the cameras zoomed in and he appeared on national television. Just happens that his bosses at his work were taking their lunch break and watching the golf on tv and saw him getting hit by the ball and talking to the golfer. Please explain when he turned up next day.
7:43 In disc golf this is known as "tree love". (Disc golfers hit trees way more than ball golfers do, largely because there are so many more of them.)

I was just thinking they should drop the depth about another 3 inches and make the material a super soft but slippery material like a materail called "BAM", it's Boron, Aluminum and Magnesium.. almost the most slippery surface there is. It's not exactly cheap, but it's the PGA so they can afford it. Nice and slippery so the backspin on a ball can't get any traction from coming back out of the hole.
Two shots that should have been in there...1) Tony Romo's shot from the patio in the 2019 Pebble Beach pro-am, and 2) Jack Nicholas' 70 foot miraculous putt at the 2016 Senior PGA Championship.
