Seeing Trent break 100 really motivated kiz this tournament.
It got me back out there. Shot a 56 on a 9 hole par 35 yesterday.

If Adam was good at short putt, he would’ve won much more tournaments. Looks like changing rules of anchoring was a big deal for him
that up and down from nevin na on the first playoff hole is one of the best ive ever seen. just to get out of the bunker and onto the green was magnificent. then the putt was out of this world. kevin is such a freakin pro.
And then he does it again in the second playoff but it just wasn’t enough.

This win shouldn’t mean anything for his Ryder Cup status. Nothing against Kiz, I think he’d be a better pick than Phil, but him winning at a course like this does not translate to match play success at Whistling Straits, and his success at Austin Country Club should not be overvalued either.

It got him a 63 in the 4th round so he can;t be that bad with it. He just uses a bad green reading system

Yeah if you gotta come close to cheating as possible and still be that bad maybe spend an off season with a normal blade and learn to stroke the ball

@@bigmaxy07 you just can't anchor it to your body. He keeps it like a half inch away from his chest. It's not "anchored". He's just coming as close as he possibly can and still can't make a 4 foot straight putt under pressure

I would just think that using such a long putter and I assume it’s fairly heavy just doesn’t give you the touch you need on the fast greens they are on every week

Adam Scott has really increased his swing speed over the last couple of years! He's up close to where Tiger was in his prime... Adam hasn't been 180+ before! Very impressive stuff!

Guaranteed, if anchor putting wasn't banned, Adam Scott would have made the first playoff hole putt. I told and replied to many people who believe there was no difference in the results using a traditional putting style vs anchor putting (prior to ban). How many tournaments has Adam Scott won since the ban? And, I'm a huge Adam Scott fan..one of the best golf swing ever in my opinion.
Scott won a decent number of events since the ban, he won two consecutive events in 2016 after returning to the short putter, a WGC and Honda Classic, and then won an event in 2020. Altogether he's probably won 4-5 events worldwide and 3 on the PGA tour since then. His putting stats have never been better now.

9:34 the ball hits the coin and kicks left. I wouldve made them move. He may have still missed the putt but it wouldve been close without hitting the marker.
He actually did have him move the marker, and still hit it.
Wow Adam, game is rock solid, but the putter continues to be a challenge. I sincerely hope he gets in sorted out.

Adam Scott after the handshake with Kis should have asked Na to hang out on the practice green for an hour and enlighten him. Just so cringe with that broomstick. And the face he makes when he misses putts like that, just such a common thing. Crazy with how incredible his swing is.
The golf gods had to curse him some way, would be beyond unfair for him to be a great putter with his ballstriking talent
