- Hey friends! Hi! Hello!

The more adults, the more cursed the high chair is. 🤯 dad puts kid in, butler takes kid out, Mum put kid back, nanny takes it out... this continues until I get a warning from child services or the adults pass out and I age the kid up to a brat due to frustration.
I’ve totally given up on the high chair. 😩 I usually just make my toddler “grab a serving” and go sit on the couch or floor and eat.
High chairs are working for me ✨
For me I was literally cooking my toddlers meal when his hunger meter went into the red and before I got done cooking I had already gotten the child services warning it's effing annoying as s***
DUUUUDE SAME. Another crazy one is the kid has the dish in its inventory but then walks two flights of stairs even though there's chairs and sofas around its immediate area, to go to the single chair in the addic. But by that time social services have taken it away 😐.....🤨🙄🙄🙄😒
The high chair pissed me off so much. Either my toddler Sim would whine and wouldn't get in it or the parents would be too dumb to give him food even after I pressed the option several times. They'd just stand around like: 😀😋
When I put them in the high chair and the other parent takes the kid out I just sit and cry like u did this for wut
Hahahaa pls turn that into a tik tok 😂
@@taylorsaurus 😂😂😂
mine don't even have to be in a high chair. i haven't tried a high chair in years. i can never get my toddlers to eat. i feed them, the food disappears, and they are miserable until social services come.
This right here...🤣🤣🤣🤣 #tears
@@taylorsaurus you can make a tik tok of me raging at the 'one adult puts the child in the high chair, and the next adult comes right away to take the child out' and I am literally every cuss word in the book hate toddlers, but hate the parents even worse sometimes LOL.
I'm not going to lie, I make my toddlers a room (that sometimes has a door, or sometimes I make a attic or basement without stairs and teleport sims in there) and I put a fridge, potty and trash in there and plop down some wabbit tablets and just let them live. They gain skills so fast in a toddler attic, I must say
Yep. I do that too 😂 glad I'm not the only one
You shouldn’t have kids lol
But what do you do when they use their diapers? Especially in the beginning. Or have a low hygiene level?
Holy crap, what a great idea. Okay I'm going to do this next time :)
They still gonna starve
Sims users: We want realism!
Also sims users: TodDlERs ARe to HarD TO tAKe cARe oFff
Hahahhaahhahahaha
Even the most independent toddler in real life still needs alot of attention and supervision. (I've been through it twice. 😆)
One of the major issues I found with toddlers in the game which does not go anywhere near reality is that if they go hungry for even a second you'll get the threat noticed to have them taken away which as far as I'm concerned raises the stress level of me as the gamer and makes taking care of toddlers a hell of a lot less fun
@@planetsidewinderofficial2954 that's true. Real ones know when they're hungry even when they can't talk yet, they can still communicate to adults that they want something (like standing by the fridge or the cupboard because they know there's food or drink there - if that fails they shriek as well! 😆) and the sims toddlers while they can ask for food, it's not autonomous and it really should be, especially for clingy ones, whereas more independent ones would open the cupboard and help themselves. (you can tell I've got kids right?)
@@meikahidenori you have kids no would never have guessed LOL. Yeah I have one myself and seeing as we actually are parents I think that gives us a unique perspective on how parenting toddlers in the game should be. you're right though children in real life will always find a way to let you know they're hungry even as infants you still somehow know when a child is hungry, but in game is tragic if I think they could have done a lot better with toddlers but even that aside I mean child protective services I don't imagine is even near that quick in real life and I don't think they somehow know when the child is hungry however the way I play the game I would love to know who's calling the service on me to let them know that I'm apparently starving my child because I will be happy to go use the weather machine strip them down to their bathing suit put them behind a wall in my backyard and freeze them to death LOL.
Toddlers are just so hard in sims 4 ,in sims 3 they were just bigger babies so they would just like do there own thing😬
Lovefaithness i agree in sims two in two and three you could teach them how to walk and they so much smaller and cute in sims two and three then sims took that option away to teach them how to walk and made them huge
you know, caring for toddlers is cute... if they didn't decide to autonomously do their own thing that messes up my adult sims' activity queue and then the queue gets cancelled altogether on its own so i have to reclick the same damn activity.
Toddlers are tiring, they get upset, get angry, get hungry and is always tired😭
Lauren Nelson because toddlers dont crawl toddlers walk babies crawl toddlers walk but you dont teach a toddler to walk you teach a baby to walk did you see a 2 year old crawl?
@@doraeos no need to attack me over here
I always give my toddlers the independent trait xD
Same but it ends up being hard either way. :/
I swear
It's easier lmao
Independent toddlers are the best

It annoys me so much they havent fixed the high chairs. I mean...
i believe littlemssam has a mod to help it, in case you need it
Well there us a different highchair
My sims have twins and it’s double the work. They are super adorable but hard to take care off
I'm embarrassed of how much I needed this video.
I got sims a day ago and I’m just learning how to take care of my toddler, the parents are always sleeping. The mother had another baby which wasn’t the best decision because I don’t even know how to take care of the toddler let alone two kids 😭
This helped me during the 100 baby’s challenge 1 out of 100 baby’s 😂😂
I'm here for the challenge hahaha
I was on 63 babies and the household won’t load again 😭😭
I literally had to search up “how to deal with toddler in sims 4” I’ve had enough of mine😭. Edit : I’m going to get rid of my toddlers high chair, it’s always crying to get out the moment she finished the food. (My toddler trouble they literally smashed their dollhouse 😭)
Well, you can cheat, press ctrl + shift + c then type testingcheats on then if its on shift + click your sim
The attention gets up with the big bear toy when you put the toddlers to play or talk to them and the talking or social skill thing gets up while talking to the bear, so your other sims can do somthing else
my sim is currently single (i found out her not even boyfriend hates kids) and is in college.. this helped me take care of my little boy since she has like a bunch of classes and homework!- oh and i agree on the high chairs! sooo annoying!
This channel is soo helpful🥰
Thank you!!
IKR 🤍🤍🤍🤍
You can also put harvestables in a toddlers inventory and have them eat those
I've honestly never thought of that, that's genius
This is the only way I was able to complete a Teen and 4 tot challenge
thats how i feed them bc the adults r way too slow USDHUSDALJ
Toddlers are more advanced in TS4 but that’s how it is in real life. If you have a toddler sibling or your a parent with a toddler then you know how they can be defiant, always hungry, they get mad when they’re sleepy, and they always want attention.
hahaha I actually really love how hard it is to take care of toddlers in the game, I love when it feels annoying for some reason?
Ultimate Sims Guides
SAMMEEEE for some reason I like being annoyed with the toddlers 😂
@@taylorsaurus same I like the challenge
Thank you for the bit about the high chair. My one sim just adopted a toddler n I've used the high chair to have her eat but i may not anymore.
I always give my toddlers harvestables to feel the hunger need to avoid getting them taken away when the parents are stuck
Someone else commented this yesterday and I NEVER thought about this, I should just keep a secret toddler stash of carrots or something haha
Haha yes! Because I hate carrots irl I give my toddlers apples, grapes and strawberries. Children that go on my nerves get raw mushrooms, that devilish green bell pepper and carrots.
Mine all get lemons or potatoes.
The day I discovered this was the day I almost never fed my toddlers formal food XD. Most of my sims are gardeners so they have soooo many harvestables around my toddler's have no reason to be hungry!
@@taki1255 so same!
Getting my toddler out of the high chair is easier since I discovered that by switching to build mode I can move the chair and free the toddler!
Most frustrating thing that ever happened was when there was a fire in my house and the nanny ran outside with the toddler in the winter time! The fire was gone in under a minute but the baby almost froze to death! I had to fire the nanny and then get a family member to bring the toddler inside and stand next to the fireplace!
Omg really
Constantly having so much trouble with high chairs and having a bath, takes absolutely forever
Victoria Montana yes the baths are so annoying cuz my sim will stop halfway through. Like finish
She needs a lot more subscribers
I didn’t know that your adult sims can have twins or triplets without the fertile thing and so my sim had triplets all girls and it’s so hard
Me too!!! And looking at when you posted this, we had the triplets at the same time!!! 🤣 they're teens now....
My sim had twins the first time she was pregnant and I almost lost my mind trying to take care of two toddlers and being threatened to have them taken away every 5 seconds
I have a toddler girl that got their habilites at 100%, she is an angel (saddly and apparently their parents not always have sense of humor. Sometimes they get sad or resentment out of nowere)... I wanted a sister for her and when I got my sims to have a baby, two sims went to the hospital but two more came back 😵 and I was like "dude why... Why would you give me to sisters more, just wanted one, what are the chances... I cant, I wont handle it" so saddly I decide to get rid one of the twins but i felt uncomfortable by doing that, and the one I kept was literally a pain... So I decided ti get rid if her too* 😔 kind of sad but there's no way that was gonna work.
*No toddler were hurt during the process. I just eliminate them by editing the family.
I... literally had never noticed toddlers have an attention bar instead of a social bar before you mentioned it. We've had toddlers in the game for YEARS. Thank you. 😂
You can also use the bake case from Get To Work to feed the toddlers. I used that in my 100 baby challenge because you can put the food in and they will just go take it out by themselves. It's honestly so cool. It's refrigerated so the food will keep.
My wife sim and i had triplets, the high chair... you are brilliant and you have a new subscriber. Thank you.
High chair is only for decorating hahaha
I make my child an angel so it doesn’t hesitate anything
BUT IT STILL DOES
When I had a toddler in sims 4 she got so needy that I tricked my sister into looking after her while I just went out and made friends lol
Thank you for tell us about the high chair. It is the devil trying to feed them lol
hahaha justt feed those babies on the floor!
Also when the toddlers sleeping need is in the yellow zone i immiditly send them to sleep its the greatest thing ever you can get done sooo much more things also wabbit tabblets are a miracle
If you buy a stuffed animal the toddler can interact with it to get their fun up
It also helps with communication skill and attention.
The slide from Toddler Stuff is fantastic for movement skill.
And sometimes it helps their fun need, alternately it can also scare them though.
When it comes to feeding the Toddlers in Sims 4, you can also just give them seed pack foods- like fruits and veggies in their inventory. It will bring their food up instantly, with out having to wait through the served foods cooldown. Sure, you have to do it manually. But, its faster and you can train them quicker. If they run around however there is a chance they will throw whatever is in their inventory onto the floor in a trail behind them LOL!
I just locked my toddler's in a room and dried food out of the fridge to the floor they'd never see their parents until they age up lol
I have 4 toddlers, a child and a teenager, and I’m stressed out. The toddlers be everywhere!!! And my damn nanny barely do shit
This is so helpful because I’m doing the 100 baby challenge
I'm honestly bad at caring for toddlers, I need this guide 😣
I stoped using the high chair but since I’m doing the 100 baby challenge all the food kinda runs out and then there’s plates everywhere so I rather just have the 2-6 toddler in one place it’s a lot, also I thought the tablet made their skills go faster, I guess I’m gonna have the try toys thanks 😊
Yeah, for 100 baby definitely do toys or try and have the mom teach them skills. It goes way faster!
Thank this channel has been a lot of help
THANK YOU!!!
i hate the high chairs SO MUCH
I love this channel so much !
I find, in a very, very, small living space a high chair is necessary. Unfortunately so. It is the devil. Seriously.
I can't do it. I just can't. They're so FRUSTRATING haha so I try and avoid them at all costs
I have a high-level spellcaster and he can just summon food. I have him summon a plate every time the kiddo needs it. No high chair required!
I just put food on the floor then tell the toddler to eat it
@@sabrinaloizides-merideth9874 my toddler's food always disappears no matter where they get it from.
Wow, from 2000 subs to nearly 20,000 in 3 months? That's awesome.
I don't know how it's happened but I'm so happy 🙈
@@taylorsaurus 😍 Congrats!!! Hey do you know how to change the traits of a toddler & how to teach them character values like responsibility, conflict resolution, etc???
My toddler recently became sad and the mood says “where’s everyone” idk what I should do
Hilda Chester do something fun with Them, give them some attention🥰
That comes from having a toddler with the 'Charmer' trait. Those toddlers get sad if they don't get enough attention. Either have them interact with an older sim or get one of the big stuffed animals. If they hug it it will bring their attention up little by little so you can just spam that interaction if the older sims are busy. They might also get their attention up from babbling to the stuffed animal (I can't remember off the top of my head) and babbling to the animal brings up their communication super fast too.
Mia Davis thanks it went away as they aged up❤️
THANKS I LOVEEEEEEEEE THIS CHANNEL
Great video. Thanks for the high chair tips!
Toddlers in TS4 don't get sick due to lack of hygiene/good food or get rashes due to not cleaning the diapers frequently or fall off when walking the first time. Also, toddlers forming clear words should be a cause for celebration but that's also absent in TS4. TS4 toddlers are more like dolls than actual toddlers. Such a lack of realism!
My sims fell in love with Candy while having a little fling with her sister (honestly didn’t even know they were sisters until way later LOL) and he moved in and I thought it would be great for him to get both of them pregnant. Yuki got a toxic lil girlfriend to rebel a bit with and she moved in also. Then Yuki had TWINS and Candy had a daughter and even though there’s four adult Sims I find it fucking impossible to take care of everyone. They literally refuse to care for them! They always cancel all my actions or spend hours with that being the only thing in the queue and just ignoring the command and eventually cancelling. The children are always filthy and getting threats that they’ll be taken away and then one of the children actually DID get taken away and I exited the game and looked for some help. 😂 I think it’ll be easier to lock them in their room with their potties and stuff because I think this two story house honestly gives them too much freedom and that contributes a lot to it. I’m considering just aging them up. 😬
Dammmm no dislikes, she must me good 😂
Lol this helps a lot toddlers are just so annoying I build them a box (basically a prison) and leave them with food and they seem to take care of them selves 😂
I've noticed that A TON of players have this strategy... hahahaha
This is very helpful for me coz i make alot of toddler in my game and household
I would try to put my toddler in a high chair then the dad took him off then the mom put him back and he was starving and everyone was mad and my toddler was about to get taken away I thought you needed a high chair thank you so much for this
YES THANK YOU
This was so helpful
I only use the wretched high chair when having dinner parties or Gand meals in the sims 😂
My couple just had twins and go to work and I’m STRUGGLING thank you 😂😂 I low key may have them quit their jobs until the kids get older
Love you and your channel

Should be a Montessori approach in this too
Toddlers are easy but it can get harder if you have 2 or 3 or more
Routine is key but I think everyone has their own way of looking after toddlers
candy11401 try having 4 at once 😭. I cant fill all of their needs and my sims at the same time
Me whose taken care of lots of sims toddlers but watches anyway cause why not
When the toddlers use their diaper, they actually don’t need a bath. They just need you to go into the “toddler care” section, then click “change diaper” no baths, no hygiene loss, and it takes like 3 seconds
First like😁
☺️ Hi! I love your videos and I just started the sims 4, in about May. Your videos really really help me! Actually I am 10 so I dont understand a lot of the cheats, but most of your videos have tips and tricks that really are useful! You deserve millions of subscribers 💖 much love!! 😘
Btw, if you have magic Sim's a duplicate makes for an incredible nanny. Only problem I had was with two siblings, one being a married parent and the other trying to develop her own love life, and I decided to make their house into a castle. It was utter chaos. But if it's like, two Sims and a baby and at least one is a virtuoso, Duplicate it a great spell.

😍😍😍
There should be an update where if an adult puts a toddler in a high chair, the toddler will ask for food rather than to be let out. They should also add a feature so toddlers can use wabbit tablets and toys in high chairs, maybe this could also mean they can drop the tablet or toy and theyll cry until an adult gives it back
I’m by no means new to sims but I literally discovered today they can have triplets... I was so not prepared, I panicked and lost my cool. 2 girls 1 boy and it’s SO hard, I was so close to letting them die but by the grace of god I got it all under control... for now.
Does it matter if they don't achieve all levels in some skills? Does it affect them when going into childhood? What about Teens into young adult with not all levels of some skills? Great video thanks!!
It doesn't really affect them if you don't get their skills up but they get special traits if you get all their skills to level 3 or max out all their skills. The special trait(s) just gives them happy moods sometimes and doesn't really do much else as far as I know. Also, the toddler skills kind of transfer over to child skills. So, for example, if you get your toddler's communication to level 3 then when that toddler becomes a child their will already be almost level 2 in their social skill. The higher the level the toddler has the bigger the head start they will be given when they age up.
From teenagers to seniors the sims keep their same skills so it doesn't matter at all if they age up without completing a skill. Also, if a child maxes out their 'child' skills then they can start on (some) adult skills early. So, if you have a kid that maxes out their creativity skill then they can start on a singing skill or something like that. And your sims will keep those traits as they age up (the adult skills, not the child skills).
My sim had twins totally unexpected, tanked the family bank account and both adults and children have very low needs I’m going crazy lmao
Do you know where this house is? I love it so much gygyhj.
Imagine telling your sim to pick up the toddler only to put it down and repeat the process 3 times as the toddler is LITERALLY STARVING TO DEATH
If you have a pet cat or dog your toddler can gain attention by interacting with the pet.
I love you
I find the "Attention" need is REALLY easy to fill. (my opinion.) I mean, my sims just need to talk to him/her or read them a book.
As long as you keep them locked in a room and just drag their food to them they will always be sad but it's easier to get everything done
Cuz I always get and at least they're thank you and responsibilities up before they are a child
I have a question though I made a second household in the same neighborhood so that on my main household when I eventually aged my toddler up there would be actual sims to attend it and since on this one I was aiming for the trophy where you play a household 25 generations down so I could of course have my toddler Ronnie marry one of the toddlers on the other house since I would age them up too but I need to know do sims naturally take care of toddlers? I mean they have everything and the adult sims I made are their parents
yesterday i played sims 4 after a long break (uninstalled now reinstalled yesterday) and i made a huge family of kids,2 toddlers,2 children. the parents got super stressed because all of them kept crying and i got SUPER stressed and deleted all the kids because they kept stressing da parents-
i loved the tutorial its very helpful, and i wanted to note that there's a weird clicking noise with your microphone its kinda annoying .
i should of watched this before i had a kid😃
My toddler was taken away for neglegence
I would TRY to clean her but the parents just cancelled it on its own and I couldn't feed clean put to sleep or anything
Also if they use their diapers they dont need to be bathed at all Times if u just Change it you dont need to give them a bath i tested it out myself and my toddlers ONLY needed baths once or twice a week.
As long as I’ve been playin on Xbox I’m jus re realizing that high chairs are the devil esp wit twins 🥴
My toddler HATTESSS her dad, I tried getting him to apologize for making her mad but she keeps getting angry :(
Like I don’t even wanna play with that household any more..
Im about to get a windows laptop and get sims 4 on Monday can everyone give me a good luck?
Most annoying is when suddenly toddlers and their parents get angry out of nowhere. Like they get resentment or emotionally hurt and the emotion takes a lot to disappear meanwhile there's chaos 😔 and any command/action to solve things literally makes the situation worst 😵.
But having that point aside... I have a doubt: my toddler gain weight, shes still cute (even more than before I believe) but is there a way to make her loose it without codes or cheats ? 😔 I believe that my obsession to have all of them at 100% on every need make her a little chubby 😊😂
those highchairs drive me nuts.. thank u
I am doing the no similions challenge and i have like 2k now i would try for a baby bc it's just a single baby and guess what i got twin boys and they are soo hard!
it always annoys me with high chair bugs when I tried to feed baby but the parent often just picking up-puttin down the toddler in loop!
Love your channel! I once had a toddler that was able to walk as soon as she aged up. Is that normal? I have tried to Google to see how come this happened but I never really found an answer. Thanks
Yes, it's normal especially if the toddler is adopted or merged into the household. If you've aged up a baby some sims will do a 'walk to mummy/daddy' animation to get the toddler started. There's no crawling, because the toddler life state starts around the 1 to 1 and a half age mark.
i have a problem with the baths and bubble baths. every time i click on the bath and click “give toddler a bubble bath”, the parent and toddler just stands there and does nothing
My babies are always sad idk what to do with tgem so i stopped taking care of them😭
What computer do you play the sims on?
my sim literally got neglected haha
Me who just leaves the house to do something else
Omggg I adopted 3 children at this point bc they all kept getting taken by cps 😭😭it’s so hard idk what to do
