That is a great design. I like how the pockets fall on the front of the coat.

Thanks Hayley, I love the coat I’m sure it will be lovely and warm and I think the two tone makes it much more interesting. I will have to clean my sewing room so I can get onto my sewing space tour. You have a great weekend too, Deb🧵🪡 keep sewing!

That Nova Coat looks fabulous and bold, just like you. Thanks for the tutorial on sewing with boiled wool😊. Could you list the patterns you are wearing? I know you said, but I’d have to go back in and rewatch to remember - apologies.

Thanks Rebecca, the first part of the video I am wearing the Quebec skirt from Itch to Stitch; it is a pull on skirt for stretch fabric , very comfortable and easy to make. The top is the Rhapsody Blouse by Love Notions in a Lady McElroy cotton lawn, couldn’t resist this fabric. In the last part of the video I am wearing the Aberdeen top by Seamwork, the fabric is by Jocelyn Proust and is a rayon spandex, lovely feel to the fabric but quite clingy, so shows all your bumps, hope this helps, Deb🧵🪡💕

The lining fabric really ‘pulls it together’, doesn’t it? Great colours.

Hi Deb, fabulous coat! Thank you for all the pressing tips. I'm curious why the collar point has a cover.

Hi Alicia, you can use it without the cover, when I press very pointed collars I take the cover off, if I am just pressing edges I leave it on. It is recommended to have the cover on when pressing white items, I would always leave it on when doing wedding dresses, thanks Deb🧵🪡 keep sewing!

Thanks Cornelia, apparently that is the sound it makes when you press it onto the fabric, mine must be broken as it does make any sound🤣🤣
