    The best way to upgrade controller is solder the shunt bars. The controller has to be 35+2 amp not to much solder as the controller will heat up so its a little along to top of bars nip them together you will have a gap at bottom run solder along to top you end up with 40 amp controller use 52v17.5 battery or 25amp

      @@user-ut1fs4kv3z hi I'm not into resistors the info I got from criss crossing wires he's the best guy to give you advice on that. If he doesn't help you he should it's better to upgrade controller yes its the pricedo you not mean cappasitors there are normally three or four be carefull if you touch them with current going through you can get killed. To drain controller switch display of first then turn battery of then press display it will flash that means the controller is empty sorry I can't help you there

    Noob question: can I change the MOSFETS of an ESC with a more powerful ones??? I'm not saying just soldering in rhe same place but instead make a housing with heatsinks with fans , fat wires etc ???

    My controller has a R005 resistor. Can I double them up by soldering another 1 on top. If so what watt do i use.

    The long line of solder is on the back side of where the FETs connect? Also adding solder on the current shunt? Is there something you recommend doing to help dissipate heat from the controller box?

      Nvm you answered my question about the heat. Lol thermal paste on the backside of the heatsink.

    Hi like your video I've got a problem the lug connectors on phace wires on hub motor and my controller is 45amp what are the best lug connectors to deal with voltage I was told 40amp and doesn't matter what I use it's a second opinion from you as you seem to no
    A lot about ebike. I bout these items on ebay with no connectors thanks colin

    does not a higher amp controller accomplish the same thing?

    So would this work if I was to upgrade from 24volts to 36volts? I know my hub motor can take it. But they don’t make a controller for the brushed hinzman motor I have or that I’ve found yet.

    • @frcr90
      @frcr90  2 года назад +1

      That won’t work for over voltage, you might have to replace the capacitors of your board but I cannot guide you through because I can’t see your board components

      Just upgrade, amazon has kits for 50 bucks and hub motors are cheap for 250 to 350w. You will be glad you did cause brushless last, quiet, no maintenance. Brushed is killing ya

    250w limit?

    You asked me about what your doing. I work on 2000wat 45amp controller battery 52v 25amo top speed 48mph that's the best Way it saves mucking on with solder that I'd bad for lungs. Just buy a upgrade bike kit

    To be onist I don't no your bike or Watts the solder you doing will work but I was told to ad solder to buzz bar that's it

      Pienso que si el problema es el calor podrias desoldar los transistores de poder y ponerles un disipador grande con ventilador y ponerle silicona para que no se moje
