Could we not expand this theory further into having one controller and one throttle operate 2 motors? The controller would need double the watt and amperage output since it would be split between the 2 motors but what else would be stopping that from working if both motors are the exact same specs?
@@Zeus1stud a bit slower but I’ve done it on a peg perego (stock) 24v rzr dual seat ride on. The stock board went bad, I replaced it with a real esc, variable speed pedal and it has worked fine. It’s even a bit faster. I bought a controller with twice the wattage of the motors. There is a motor going to each rear wheel (stock) Like a power wheels. I don’t see why It wouldn’t work on a razor toy???
Wow great video! That is exactly what I was looking for! this really puts the tech in the hands of the people as an ev motor is thousands but an amazon bldc is affordable and 2 or 3 connected on a chain is equal to an ev motor!! Thanks!
I've got a feeling your using the frame as negative ground. There has to be some way both controllers see a common negative for the signal to be sensed by the second controller.
signal wire is sending a variable voltage and they share a battery pack, therefore they DO share a negative in that sense. IF they were on different packs, then both the negative and signal would need to be connected
Thank for the video, can I do this with 36/48v hub , controller and battery with a 24v hub, controller battery, a. Not for full time use. I'll put a switch on the signal wire going to 24v.
Thank you for the vid. Could this be done with 2 batteries, 2 controllers and 1 throttle? 1 battery and motor controller for one wheel and another battery and controller for the other wheel and using 1 throttle? I am building an electric scooter and have this option available to me. Thank you in advance.. stay safe.
Does it matter which controller front or back and how about if the throttle has an on off switch will it turn off both? I guess I will find out now. Grin tech shows jumping the green or white neutral and negative.

hey man! So is it possible to use that single 690Wh battery for both engines and I'd like front motor to be with throttle only. (This bike have only torque sensor pedal assist) So like when I feel like I could boost speed with front engine while rear motor. is running.

You said positive negative and neutral so where did the signal wire come from?
the "neutral" is the signal wire
I believe

How is the battery life when you hook up two controllers vs just one controller?
better because of consumption of energy.... hit the gas way less and glide. ElectricTIPS29 at Instagram Follow
