Thanks for your review. I'm not a gamer so I will stay on Poco F3 for now. In Poland, the Poco F3 8/256 in the promotion currently costs 320$ and the Poco F4 GT 8/128 605$. And at the regular price of F3 8/256 410$ and F4 8/128 685$.
It will be useful to compare the Poco F3 and F4 models, especially the photos and videos.

It says that poco f4 gt is more concentrated on gaming than camera settings. But given the quality of the photos and videos shown , i think it is good for a budget gaming fone with trigger buttons . Thanks for the review . 👍👍 it is indeed a good one !

It would be interesting to do a F3 v F4GT comparison, especially in relation to their cameras. It's also worth noting, in some markets, Xiaomi currently sell the F3 for less than half the price of the F4 GT!

Great review! I've been using it for a week and there are no issues. The only caveat I found was the floating windows on some apps not working. I hope you would check in on that one,

Yeah poco has an issue with for example facebooks messenger .. this happens to older phones as well as im an owner of x3 nfc
@@UnderBassEffects in addition, several racing games like Real Racing 3, the games think that the phone is automatically using a controller so it's literally unplayable. It's probably just a software optimization bug so I hope it will be fixed soon.

F4 GT has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the F3 has a Dimensity 1200. You can't really compare them. They ain't in the same league.

I have redmi note 8 pro, and definitely upgrading to poco f4 gt next month, that gaming trigger will help me a lot for gaming that itself makes me want to own this right now 😂 was planning to get black shark but it cost more and prone to heating more than the poco i guess I'll give the poco f4 gt a try.. we'll be getting updates for optimization throughout the first 4 year of its release so that makes I even better, that's more than enough time for gaming and saving for the next best thing to come in the future

@@kenanshora Poco f4 gt is not bad, but if anyone is planning to get one I recommend to buy a cooling fan for gaming, because 8 gen 1 is known to get really hot, which is true, I suggest mid graphics with cooling fan attached to make it better experience

I really loved this review! Many other reviewers tended to judge the phone as either a flagship for standard usage or a flagship for heavy gaming. But you judged phone as exactly what it is intended to be! A hybrid between both! I'm even more confident in buying the phone now. Thank you so much!
Oh brother. It is worth it. Imagine just arriving home, phone less than 20 percent. You charge it and do some chores for a bit. Roughly 15 mins pass, and you're already fully charged.

@@OppayLord Yeah man. That's one of the main things that attracted me. I tend to be on the go a lot so having a phone that can charge so quickly is too good! I just one not long ago!
@@geraldhenry5739 keep in mind tho that you have to use the original powerbrick and wire to take advantage of the 120W charging. Powerbanks can only go so far, although I own one which has a 60ish W quick charging capability

Yup. Compare F3 n F4 GT, just a small different. Not worth it to upgrade.
F4 GT is overheating in gaming and battery's life drain so fast.
My F3 5G broke down today after the latest Android update. Really frustrating. It seems Poco was irresponsible for releasing such an update. Don't know whether to proceed with F4 GT.
Adam can u compare this phone and xioami 12 pro (specially camera ) cause both have 8 gen 1 and almost both comes at same price (in my country , after discount) .. even if u can't thats ok ... I loved this video by the way .. as always u r great at reviewing phones
Why do you need comparison? If you want gaming triggers get f4 gt , if not get 12 pro.

I have a Poco F3 and actually it is quite a nice phone with good specs. The only thing with this phone is its UI MIUI and slow software and security patch updates. I am not fancy with its software, then I changed to Samsung Galaxy S22 plus few months back and I can finally said I have found the right UI that is pleasant to use and I have never regretted in buying this phone over Poco F4 GT.

Does Malaysia not have F3 GT or K40 Gaming (I believe both are the same with different name)? It's not listed in official site. Initially I wanted F4 GT but heard that SD8G1 chipset in it has serious throttling issue as many claimed, to the point where it performs worse than SD870 (like Poco F3).
U CAN JUST BUY A PHONE COOLING FAN AND THE PHONE WILL NOT OVERHEAT OR DROP FRAMES ANYMORE ( whatever the phone overheats only if u play HEAVY GAMES LIKE GENSHIN IMPACT ON THE HIGHEST SETTINGS) otherwise if u play cassualy games like PUBG COD ETC. even on hight settings the phone will not overheat on those games only on heavy ones ( AND U CAN BUY COOLING FAN IF U WANNA PLAY SOMETHING LIKE GENSHIN IMPACT AND THE PROBLEM IS SOLVE ) WITH A COOLING FAN THE PERFORMANCE WILL STAY STABLE AND NOT DROM FRAME OR LAG ( I RECOMMAND U TO BUY THE BLACKSHARK FUNCOOLER 2 - is a great cooler phone and its also cheaper then most of the performane coolers out there)

I think there is a problem to Qualcomm.
Since 888 Soc snapdragon consume more energy so more battery.
For fiability and during in time, today I prefer buy a Poco F3 or realme GT néo 2 equiped with the snapdragon 870.
The new architecture Qualcomm so bad for vitality of monitor.
But I dont understand the 778g is very well optimize... But its de same architecture than 888.

Seen the full review. Now the question is, to switch to this from the F3 or not. Gaming or otherwise the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is far superior than the Snapdragon 870 with the Antutu benchmarks about 49% higher for Gen 1. The price is equally so expensive almost double of the Poco F3 to Poco F4 GT.
It overheats like crazy. Dimensity processors are much better.

There's a trick..go to security go to battery choose performance mode..and enjoy the game without drop fps
If the Poco F4 is not coming to Malaysia then a comparison with the F3 would be welcome... Hopefully there are significant improvements to enticed people to upgrade to the F4 GT

I have problems with the phone. From time to time the mobile data is not in function, then i have to restart the phone. When i restart it, all my widgets on screen are dead. Anybody else this problems?

Great review! I've tried F3, great overall phone too, but it's missing "pocket mode", can anybody confirm F4 GT has it, and if it has, it works good? Or any closeable smart case functionality? For daily usage I've got used to magnetic "smart lock on lid close" cases, I'm wondering if it is possible with this one, because it's not with F3. With my old Honor 8, I set screen awake time for at least 2 minutes, because when its unlocked, I'm reading or using it, so stay unlocked, and when I'm done, I just close the lid... I know, that it ALWAYS locked itself because it used a magnetic lid close sensor, instead of some 95% stable proximity sensor, I just come to like this functionality so much. Adding that to the daily usage of the two programmable trigger buttons, it would be really good phone for me, thx
even my poco x3 nfc has a pocket mode just dive in the settings you will find it in the display settings
Just recently bought Poco F3 GT, haven't arrived yet. Also, I was thinking of buying this phone for December this year, but a lot of phones with Dimensity 9,000 are gonna be released soon. Let's see what will be the best in value for this year. I subbed
