I recently got a Poco F4 and I have been extremely impressed so far. It handles everything I throw at it, including Genshin. It was a little bit of a challenge getting set up on my cell network here in the USA, but a little bit of work and now it works well. Unfortunately, it doesn't really have 5g access because the US cellular bands are different, almost like it's biased against Chinese phones or something, but the speeds on T-Mobile 4g have been decent
Same here, i want to talk about the battery consumption, I use it to play games like genshin or honkai and it lasted around 3-4 hours and for basic usage around 7-8 hours, is it the same with you?
Got the POCO M4 PRO 4G recently for a really good price and I'm pretty happy didn't know the M5 had a better processor, but it was not available in my country, just the M5S so that's why I preferred the M4 pro

POCO doesn't sell in my country at all (Canada) so I'd have to order it online. Kinda torn between grabbing the X4 GT or just grabbing a Samsung S22 from a phone plan...maybe even the S21 FE. the poco f5 is coming soon, wait for that. Samsung is overrated garbage they don't even include things like a charger or screen protector. poco is the future, you get everything preapplied & it's far cheaper. more for your money
The only problem about Poco phones are Blackscreens / Deadboot, it happens after a year of use or updating to their latest software update. I suggest getting a Poco phone with a Graphite cooling system or any cooling system in it, it heats up a bit even when it comes to basic tasks like Scrolling through media. Or maybe consider waiting for the next release of Poco F5 or X5 GT / Samsung S23 which suits you the most.

Hi Ken, I just got a poco x4 pro. Can you help me with the camera settings. Photos taken at a distance of about 5 meter is already getting blurry. Is there anything I can do to improve my photo quality. Thanks . Jodh
Is Poco F4 GT a better choice than Xiaomi 12T? I've preordered for a Xiaomi 12T because when i asked if there was a Poco F4 GT available, they suggested that i wait for F5's release.
Honestly I think the Xiaomi is going to be a better general phone than the POCO, especially the 12T uses Dimensity 8100 Ultra You know if you want to get the F4 GT if you value the shoulder buttons and the overall look, but if let’s say you’re worried about 8 Gen 1 or you use camera a lot, then probably you want to look elsewhere

Or around $120 (with discounts and vouchers). The good thing is, redmi always has promotions and sale. At least in my country
Yeah that might be an important selling factor as well, but to be honest if camera is of any importance then I always suggest the M5s anyway, thanks for the reminder still!
My journey with phones S6-s8>F1>x3 pro>F3>GTN3 Do not buy samsung phone, they're overpriced, overheat a lot and have bad amoled display in all S series. Poco x3 pro > f3 for genshin cause x3 is just better in terms of heat dissipation. But no amoled and prone to sudden death due to RAM chip defect. Hi Ken, still a little bit confuse, but still considering m4 pro 6/128 to get to, is it ok for a little bit longer for using cause you know miui issues (lagging, slow respons, heavy ui, etc)..? Just like my redmi note 7 & 8 in 4/64..
Well to be honest I don't think it's wise to put all the blame into MIUI or the phone manufacturer, yeah sure they might play a part but over the years the apps that we use are also getting more and more features, they become more demanding and computationally intensive too, which is what I believe is the biggest reason why our phone slows down after a couple of years, which is especially noticable in entry to mid ranger phones since they don't have that much overhead in performance in the first place In any case the M4 Pro should be good enough for the time being (it has great screen and overall specs too) so no need to sweat it, I think it's a good upgrade!
Currently using the POCO F1 (6 GO + 64 GB) , I'm interested in either the POCO F4 or the POCO X4 GT mainly for gaming usage (performance and battery life). From your testing, the X4 GT has better gaming performance but what about battery life ? Also, is there any other phones within the 400 euros (for 256 gb) that would be better ?
Dont hesitate to grab poco x4 gt. Superb performance the battery is also good. As well the cam is also good. Poco f1 to poco x3 pro to poco x4 gt. All working well
Poco x4 gt. If you're gaming it's the one you want. The performance is damn good that it justifies what it shaves off. I don't take pictures much but I'm still pretty impressed with the camera is it still takes good pics.
I'll just stay with the x4 pro and wait for the f5 and other types of the phones sure the phone is not flagship but it does goes by for the average Joe
I did not know about that accubattery health percentile app. That itself is valuable informative. I'm somewhat curious about pocco smartphones as a back up secondary since they are mostly affordable but we'll see. Mahalo from Hawaii.
Really good video, I'm looking for a phone for everyday use and occasional gaming and I'm in between the poco F4, F4 GT, X4 GT and Mi 11T Pro, which one would you recommend?
The upgrade on poco x4 gt is the chipset D8100 flagship killer and it's battery, the price is already close to f4 just because of this and if they also put amoled the price is higher than f4 (only wins on display and camera)
Hahaha man I know right 😂 to be honest I would love to but I can't afford buying and testing the phones one by one right now (for time and budget reasons) so maybe I'll try to do it next generation instead 🙏🏻 well hopefully Xiaomi will be able to sort me out here
1. AccuBattery is wrong... Its always wrong, idk where it get data, but after a month of use on my f3, AccuBattery is just unable to get my battery health, for some time it did show something around 80% then jump to 99, then to 83, and again and again... Imo its just trying to guess battery health based on max charging level or something like this. 2. Most appealing poco feature for many, f1 was prime example, is custom rom community. For me Xiaomi was go to phone after Huawei stopped giving bootloader unlock codes, and main reason was and will be custom rom+root. And one aditional info about AccuBattery, on my poco f1, with battery that was so dead it did last only like 10h idle (from 100 to 0), AccuBattery was showing something around 90% health....
We can’t say that per se, what accubattery calculates for 100% battery health is the rated capacity of the battery (let’s say 4700mAh on the POCO F4), and just by nature of batteries they may or may not charge until 4700mAh (that’s why you see ‘typical’ capacity in specs) That’s why AccuBattery doesn’t show 100% even when you charge right out of the box, not necessarily wrong but each battery is just different and that is by its chemical nature In this case I’ve been using the F4 GT for more than half a year, the datapoint is thus a bit more reliable than the three samples you mentioned (of course I believe you have more, but jumping from 80 to 90+ is normal) and that’s why I can start to make a conclusion of the trend Finally about custom rom, sure I get it is important for some, but I’m not those who buys an android (or poco in this case) because of it, thus why I didn’t mention it as a selling point in the videos 🙏🏻
@@namedkenn but battery mAh is not something that app without root permission can measure (mby even root permission may not help), it do measure voltage and battery voltage is different based on how much % it have, phone have config file that tells that battery is 4700mAh and its LiHv (high voltage li-po) so every app know that if voltage is ~4.3V, phone is at 100% and it means 4700mAh... Problem is that none of this information is relevant to get battery health.
AA thing that i've noticed on my Poco X3 NFC is that a bit more than half of my ram is already used up by the system (3.3GB in general) so how does the Poco F4 handle that while having very good gaming performance? Does it also take up 3GB of ram for nothing just to have 5GB free? I did see threads online saying that the phone takes up more ram because of recent updates, and it feels bad having only half of my RAM available.
Wait Kenneth is a dad? But he looks so young, anyways I own both a xiaomi mi 11 lite 5g and poko f3 pro I don't regret switching from Samsung to xiaomi /poco
Is the differences too much from Samsung to Poco (Example: UI experience, ads, etc)? I really need some feedbacks and considering to upgrade my Samsung M20 to Poco F4, is it worth it? Confused too much about this and even considering Samsung A53 but I heard it's not worth it and Poco F4 (brand) is new for me because I've never use Xiaomi / Poco brands before. I mainly use phones for daily driver social media and some gaming like honkai.
Hi Ken! I hope you'll have time to make comparisons of phones that has Frame Interpolation/MEMC, specifically how each of those phones perform with Genshin Impact. Would really help a lot for budget players planning to buy a new phone for Genshin Impact during the December Sale. (Sumeru is such a phone killer)
I have a performance focused mindset and both the F4 (SD870) or X4 GT (Dimensity 8100) is much stronger than the Helio we have on the X4 Pro. But I did say that the X4 Pro might appeal to the broader audience since it strikes a good balance between speed, screen and camera quality right?
@@namedkenn i agree, the better the chipset, the better the battery life. Poco x4 gt is just sooo balanced in terms of performance, daily use and more.
im looking for a phone that can handle video editing and motion graphics as much as possible. i dont mind about the rest of the features. should i buy the x4 gt or the f4 gt?
Stability over a minute difference in performance. I bought F4 over X4 GT. F4 has more features like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, AMOLED, AI HDR and MEMC, etc. I would say it's more suited to be classified as a Flagship killer rather than a performance phone because of these features (most of these features you can only find on high end Xiaomi series phones)
Well to be honest, if we're talking features the X4 GT is about on par with the F4, it *also* has Dolby Vision/Atmos, HDR10 support (although to be fair yes the F4 does support the extended HDR10+ AND an OLED so everything will look more punchy) But that's exactly the point I'm trying to make, the F4 is the 'better overall' phone that most people should look into, whereas the X4 GT is all 'in the name of performance' MEMC is something I'm curious though, I've never really realized it was there on the F4 until I read the specs, any idea how to use it in real life as well?
I think it's similar like the M5s, it's something to get if an all-rounder is what you need, although overall the F4 is a much better package (but more expensive too)

Nice video as i have confused so much when looking at poco lineup. This clip help me quite a lot and thank you for making this clip.
have an f3 256gb but got the x4 gt 256gb as an amazon warehouse deal about 300$. both are gaming mosters!
Great video 👍
I wanted to buy f4gt but i heard f5gt is coming soon , so I'll wait f5gt and see how both of them compares then I'll buy ✌️
I have poco x3pro im it gave me a great experience now im looking for another phone for my wife
F3 for the win
Currently using the POCO F1 (6 GO + 64 GB) , I'm interested in either the POCO F4 or the POCO X4 GT mainly for gaming usage (performance and battery life). From your testing, the X4 GT has better gaming performance but what about battery life ? Also, is there any other phones within the 400 euros (for 256 gb) that would be better ?
Poco x4 gt in a heartbeat. I have a special aliexpress link to get it for only 325EURO (256gb)
Dont hesitate to grab poco x4 gt. Superb performance the battery is also good. As well the cam is also good. Poco f1 to poco x3 pro to poco x4 gt. All working well
been using the x4 gt for months now and it has never disappointed me, even coming from the Samsung Note series
Poco x4 gt. If you're gaming it's the one you want. The performance is damn good that it justifies what it shaves off. I don't take pictures much but I'm still pretty impressed with the camera is it still takes good pics.
The only thing you are missing if you bought X4 GT is the amoled display.Aside from that it is an extreme beast
Bro coba bahas Zenfone 9 sama bandingin span 8 gen 1 vs 8+ gen 1. Thanks
The baby clinging into you is so ❤️
I'll just stay with the x4 pro and wait for the f5 and other types of the phones sure the phone is not flagship but it does goes by for the average Joe
bro. you are one of the few youtubers who knows what they are doing. keep it up. and thank you for the good content.
poco f3 & poco f5 those are the only ones you need to look at. forget the rest
Can you explain what difference in M series, X series , C series and F series, what is their key features or what is their target market
no X4 GT for Indonesian release.. kinda disappointed 😞
Nice review kemet tanaka
I did not know about that accubattery health percentile app. That itself is valuable informative.
I'm somewhat curious about pocco smartphones as a back up secondary since they are mostly affordable but we'll see.
Mahalo from Hawaii.
Yeah it is a very nice app! And I've been using the POCO as a secondary phone as well for years and it's doing its job very well!
Hi can you do this video in OnePlus phone thanks 😊
How did you test the fps, what software did you use.
Really good video, I'm looking for a phone for everyday use and occasional gaming and I'm in between the poco F4, F4 GT, X4 GT and Mi 11T Pro, which one would you recommend?
Mi 11T if you have budget
Would you recommend the M4 Pro (based on specs I know you don't have it) instead of M5/M5s?
I buyed now from AliExpress, POCO X4 GT 256GB blue for 260 Pounds.
Hope you'll love it!
The upgrade on poco x4 gt is the chipset D8100 flagship killer and it's battery, the price is already close to f4 just because of this and if they also put amoled the price is higher than f4 (only wins on display and camera)
Also, the X4 GT is for people wanting LCD and headphone jack
f4 gt forgot It's goal and defeated all others in other areas
Bro can u do a video about your poco x3 pro long term review
do Redmi Note 11 series lineup guide, that series is way too confusing for normal people
Hahaha man I know right 😂 to be honest I would love to but I can't afford buying and testing the phones one by one right now (for time and budget reasons) so maybe I'll try to do it next generation instead 🙏🏻 well hopefully Xiaomi will be able to sort me out here
So poco x4gt or poco f4 which is better camera, games and everthing?
F4 is better in camera and games. X4 GT is better in battery life
where can i get a decent fan cooler for the x4 gt
We can’t say that per se, what accubattery calculates for 100% battery health is the rated capacity of the battery (let’s say 4700mAh on the POCO F4), and just by nature of batteries they may or may not charge until 4700mAh (that’s why you see ‘typical’ capacity in specs)
That’s why AccuBattery doesn’t show 100% even when you charge right out of the box, not necessarily wrong but each battery is just different and that is by its chemical nature
In this case I’ve been using the F4 GT for more than half a year, the datapoint is thus a bit more reliable than the three samples you mentioned (of course I believe you have more, but jumping from 80 to 90+ is normal) and that’s why I can start to make a conclusion of the trend
Finally about custom rom, sure I get it is important for some, but I’m not those who buys an android (or poco in this case) because of it, thus why I didn’t mention it as a selling point in the videos 🙏🏻
I did see threads online saying that the phone takes up more ram because of recent updates, and it feels bad having only half of my RAM available.
well. unused ram is a wasted ram
can you make a oppo reno 8 pro gaming review?
Wait Kenneth is a dad? But he looks so young, anyways I own both a xiaomi mi 11 lite 5g and poko f3 pro I don't regret switching from Samsung to xiaomi /poco
Hahaha I can't believe it either! Thanks for sharing your take 😁
Is the differences too much from Samsung to Poco (Example: UI experience, ads, etc)? I really need some feedbacks and considering to upgrade my Samsung M20 to Poco F4, is it worth it? Confused too much about this and even considering Samsung A53 but I heard it's not worth it and Poco F4 (brand) is new for me because I've never use Xiaomi / Poco brands before.
I mainly use phones for daily driver social media and some gaming like honkai.
Please review QCY HT05. Thank you so much.
I’ll see what I can do! Probably will make a video to tackle new QCY buds all at once
Poco f3 is the best phone
Poco F3 is a great phone for the era, but nowadays the newer F5 is very good as well!
Anyone knows if you can do the usual increase on Ram on the 4/64gb builds?
Umm I won’t bet my money on RAM expansion, they’re using the storage which is much slower and just wears down your storage slightly more
The best phone guide I ever watch
Bruh why no poco x4 pro 5g?????
>TFW the Poco m4 pro 5g & x4 gt didn't available in Indonesia
Feelsbadman.jpg
Oh I thought the M4 Pro is available in Indonesia? (But absolutely agree about X4 GT)
@@namedkenn it was the 4g ver (Helio g96) not the 5g ver (dimensity 810)
How about Poco X5 Pro
Sounds very helpful!
if you have 500 make it 1000 then buy iphone
Which iphone you are using?
Watching this using Poco F2 Pro
I have the poco x4 pro and I can't understand why you suggest f4 and X4GT over it.
If you don't mind anything else then I would recommend X4 GT as Dimensity 8100 is top notch for the price of the phone 👌
X4 gt or f4
New subscriber here! Such a great review! 🎉
Well to be honest, if we're talking features the X4 GT is about on par with the F4, it *also* has Dolby Vision/Atmos, HDR10 support (although to be fair yes the F4 does support the extended HDR10+ AND an OLED so everything will look more punchy)
But that's exactly the point I'm trying to make, the F4 is the 'better overall' phone that most people should look into, whereas the X4 GT is all 'in the name of performance'
MEMC is something I'm curious though, I've never really realized it was there on the F4 until I read the specs, any idea how to use it in real life as well?
F4 is the balance phone having extra features, X4 is the flagship killer having dimensity 8100
@@namedkenn it smoothens the video framerate, up to 1080p. 24fps to 30fps. 30fps to about 60fps (iirc)
9:14 is that your kid? 🥰
where does the Poco X4 Pro go in between the X4 GT and F4?
I think it's similar like the M5s, it's something to get if an all-rounder is what you need, although overall the F4 is a much better package (but more expensive too)
Should I buy Poco X3 Pro or should I considered F series and GT?
Skip x3 pro it have deadboot issue go straight to x4 GT or f4
