F3 user don't need to upgrade to F4 for just ois and faster charging. For those looking for gaming budget mid range just go for F4 as 870 is very stable processor so far

Almost a year after I got the F3, still the best budget super smartphone I have ever used. One of the best from Xiaomi Poco Line... It has already updated to Miui 13 and it works well.

870 is a very good chip
Gen 1 and 888 had overheating issues, so we're getting a powerful processor that doesn't overheat, and can pretty much hold its own against the top chips

Dude what Im struggling is to decide is which one is better 870 snapdragon or mediatek 8100,I personally prefer the f4 especialy since they improved the cooling system, but at the same time the x4 gt has tge 3,5 mm jack, but the f4 has the type c to 3.5 adapter, combined with the fast charge I personally prefer the f4

My F3 is still King of affordable Flagship smartphones. Has all the best features (best screen, 120Hz, Speedy SD870, great battery life, awesome sound system etc). Will keep F3 because its the best for the money 👍

overall almost the same just slightly upgrade charger and camera .I still satisfied my poco f3. Also like the design poco f3 over poco f4
Bought F3 last year with early bird price at Rm1499 for 256GB. After using it for 6 months, I purchased another F3 priced at rm1099 for my wife. I'm still able to live with those little bugs and camera quality. Not perfect photo but it's good enough to capture our memories. Never regret having a cheap and cheerful smartphone.
What kind of bugs issue sir?

@@ahindas6272 Can't give much feedback from the sound quality, to me just normal. No issues connecting Bluetooth earphone so far, I'm using OnePlus buds btw. But I do appreciate that F3 having stereo speakers

Based on what i've seen the EIS is fighting with the OIS on the main camera that''s there's lotsn of jitters and focus hunting. Based on my experience too there are lots of ads on Xiaomi/Poco phones and MIUI still remain buggy. Would you agree?
Poco f4 is really a great upgrade for folks who are still rocking f1 and have skipped f2 Pro and f3

Good phone, I liked the new liquid cooling technology, the sustainable gaming stability, the OIS camera and the design looks better without that huge POCO logo staring back at you.

Good observation and since I have the Poco F3, didn't find fancy spending to buy another similar processor Poco F4 for just minimalistic additional features
The camera upgrade is very significant and you shouldn't want a chipset above 870 yet it overheats

I have the Poco F3 and I like it for the most part except for a couple of things:
1) Camera could've been better. Xiaomi should've opted for a 64MP Sony sensor with 12MP ultrawide that doubles as a macro.
2)Lack of matte black option while matte white version is available.
3) Even though the Haptic motor is of flagship type, Its strength is very low.
4) Vibration motor is weak since I can't feel it vibrating in my pocket.
5) Base RAM should be 8GB instead of 6GB

Then it wouldn't be a 250/300 dollar phone. That's it's biggest appeal. All the things you mentioned aren't deal breakers for most people and i tbh if you look at other Xiaomis phones you will probably find one that matches what you want except it's probably more around 450/500 dollar. Which makes sense.
Can you make battery drain test between poco f3 vs poco f4 vs poco x4gt plz? So we get clear idea of battery backup of these 3 for buying guide:)
Can we use the 67W fast charge adapter from F4 on F3 and achieve better charging speed than F3's own 33W fast charge adapter?

Thanks for the video. Has Poco confirmed the internal build of the F4? Is it like an F3 with glass front and back mounted to a plastic frame? For all the hype, image quality, especially on video, seemed very close.

Good comparison. I think I will get either a Samsung A52s or Xiaomi 11 lite 5g Ne. Good cameras and stabilization and they have external memory capability. Loved the Samsung S21 FE and the Xiaomi 12 Lite for their cameras but neither have external memory capability.

Hi Lim, can I get your advise please between the F4 vs X4 GT?
I am just a casual user who uses phone as a phone mainly, but I do game occasionally on my phone (like 2hours/day) on games like Genshin or Pokemon Unite.
Like, I do use camera but its mainly for taking pics of document to send for work etc.
On one hand the F4 got Amoled, but slightly weaker processing, although I'm not sure if that will affect me or if I will notice the difference?
As for the X4 GT, it has headphone jack and better processing, and while I do use the headphone jack occasionally, it is like, once a year.
I'm the type of user who once got a phone, will use it until it dies off or so. My current phone is the Huawei Mate 9 Pro that I got 6 years ago, and it's still good but unfortunately the buttons and touchpad and camera has died off and the cost of repair costs more than a brand new phone.
Since there's an early bird discount going on I am quite rushed to make a decision. Would you be able to advise me please? Thanks!
Go for x4 gt if you don't mind the LCD panel..meaning no always on display but with better battery maybe slightly better performance and slightly lower price by 100 in Malaysia currency...hope this helps
I don't mind the price difference so it isn't a factor to me.
However someone else said this to me, he told me to go for the F4 instead because:
I may not feel the power and performance difference with the type of usage I use
However, I will always look at the screen so I will feel the AMOLED.

@@SL-fp5bh then just go for F4. If you already have F3 then there isn't a need to upgrade. Huawei Mate 9 pro to F4 will be a huge upgrade. Note : straight go for the highest spec 8gb ram 256 storage.

F3 was far better one year earlier. F4 is a disappointment. Especially for the very little changes.
How can the phone control if OIS is enabled or disabled? Doesn't seem to make much sense.

4K 60FPS disables EIS, this happens in my Mi11 as well, if you record 4K30 you will have both OIS and EIS, and it will be rock solid stabilization.
Not that OIS doesn't work in 60FPS, just that EIS does a better job with video, and if both paired gives a rock solid result.

Yeah I see no really good reason to upgrade my Poco F3 to the F4. Other than the cameras and fast charging there isn't much different. Actually think I prefer the F3 design a little more too.

6:34 I've noticed that in most midrange phones with OIS. I guess we could only shoot at 60fps with a tripod or gimbal.
OIS doesn't make videos stable at all. It is EIS that makes videos stable and most manufacturers don't add any EIS to 4k 60fps videos (if the phones support 4k 60)
Eis works with 4k 30fps
EIS takes processing power in real time. 870 might not be capable to do that in 4k60
@@mohdk2299 It absolutely is. I use the Motorola edge s with snapdragon 870 and the same main camera sensor as the F4 and it has stabilised 4k60 footage with EIS. Likewise, I used the Xiaomi 10s (also snapdragon 870) for a week before returning it due to a faulty camera lens and that too had eis @ 4k60. Xiaomi doesn't give you this on purpose as a way of creating a gap with more expensive phones. On the poco x4 gt they don't even give eis at 4k30 despite the powerful chip. This is just a differentiation strategy

@@No-fq7rm yeah it has 650 nits pick brightness and HDR 10+ and Dolby vision support the only let down is contrast which is really important if you use your phone in a very dark room

Considering the Dimensity 8100 scores even with the Snapdragon 888+, I'd consider the X4 GT to be the upgrade from the F3, as the F4 GT has the much more expensive Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

I have a question. I am looking for a new phone for under Php 21,000 or $383. I am considering Xiaomi(Poco f4, Mi 11 Lite 5g NE, and Mi 11T), Samsung(A33 5g and A52s 5g), and Oppo(Reno 6z and Reno 7z). My old phone is oppo, and I am satisfied with its performance, especially its camera. I am more on camera, but I play games like COD. I want to try Xiaomi, but I'm afraid caused I've seen a lot of comments that it's not worthy and unsuitable for the long term. for me, all of the phones you said, u missed the overall better phone. The Poco F3. "Cellphone of the Year 2021" Phone is like on Steroids xD (Very) Optimized on games ultra framerate on codm, consistent 60fps too up to 90, max graphics on ml, codm, pubg, (consistent high fps,) no fps drop a very good "flagship like" gaming phone, high fps on genshin medium graphics (50-56fps stable for a long period of time) and for overall the performance, and the reliability of the phone, it also has a very premium design, good colors to choose from, each one is exquisite, and a decent cam (48mp, Sony Sensor) for taking daily pics and 5mp macro and for overall a consistent and and a daily driver, it also scores a very good endurance rating of 114hours, so battery is very good, and charging speed is not that bad too, (33watts) around 40-50mins. So buy this phone if you want to get more on what u paid for. You can buy f3 256/8variant its around 18-19k on lazada. Oh and keep in mind, and it has a higher antutu score than blackshark 4 blackshark 4 is 5times more expensive ;) (Blackshark: 697650, Poco F3: 711445)

someone please explain which one is best out of poco f3, xiaomi mi10T pro or poco x3 pro? Main things I care about are battery life which mi10t wins, main camera quality, quality video quality with stabilisation not shaky! Also geekbench rating which the f3 seems to beat out the mi10T pro. Just confused which one to go for. If there is another xiaomi that is better in those price ranges I would love to know

If you have not experienced having a poco phone and its planning to get one. The it is better to get the F4 however if you already have the F3 then it is not worth upgrading since there is just a slight difference between the two devices.

I asked the store to pack it without that "blue" packaging that delivered the pocos f4 gt.but the store said it couldn't.couldn't, because the packaging logistics weren't suitable for the store.finally this green one came, and the same rate 332 reais, I bought it for 1860. So.for 2200 still, it was a great choice.alias I'm using it, and I have my new x3 gt 8/256 for sale for 1800 reais..ABS.
