Got stems up and running … did the updates and it’s on point… tested out the separation process and its dope … I even had a piece with multiple instruments in it and the program separated them all .. On my end mpc did its thing .. great tool … peace ✅
Mine works! Took me like 2 hours, but yea its crazy, really need the standalone version ASAP, usually always just do standalone🖖👍🤙
You claim you really need the standalone version now, but watch when we get it how much you'll be complaining about using it in standalone. It's common sense that it's going to be very CPU intensive and those 2-4GB on the hardware will not be enough to really process those stems the way we want. Be careful what you wish for.
I had to uncheck the open with rosetta box on mac and now stems work for me

Here’s what the AKAI service tech had me do to fix the error. If using a Mac Disable “Rosetta” mode on the MPC application. Reboot your MPC software and that should fix the problem.
Nice I stopped Rosetta too.
As for installation and downloading issues, this is an inMusic-run process. What were you expecting?
And here I thought, seeing multiple "producer influencers" (I don't say that with any shade) rock Stems for months in standalone, that we'd get it standalone also.
I got the stems up and running but I got error code 5 ,so I had to Uninstall 2.13 and install 2.14 and it's running.
How can I HELP you Doc? You have helped me since the beginning!
The way its buggin they should have included in 2.14 upgrade

If you’re on silicon Mac uncheck open in Rosetta in applications when you right click Mpc and then click Get info

I bought MPC stems but I'm wondering when will the MPC Software be available in VST 3 format. I no longer use VST 2 plugins.
im with you. i recently migrated entirely to vst3. mpc is my only non-vst3 plugin i even use

VST2 is already damn near an archaic format. Even on a Mac, most my plugins are VST3.

Hey Doc, after 2.14 firmware update, my Additional SSD Drive in my Mpc X Standalone is Making my Screen Blink and is Unusable UNLESS I UNINSTALL my internal SSD. Same with an SD Card. Have you heard anyone else having this issue? This has been a Huge Mess. I spoke with Jesus at Akai and I tried reinstalling Mpc Content but that didn't work.
To Clarify, once I removed the drive MPC went back to normal. Any external or attached drive will make the MPC Screen Blink on and off every 10 seconds.
JESUS works for Akai WTF! I know he is predicted to return on April 8th(🤣) BUT Akai obviously has a direct link to God and managed to nab him first! That's definitely a worlds FIRST for Akai.
@iamrocketray Either Jesus is the only HelpDesk Employee or I have been very Lucky to get him everytime I have called or had an issue. They need to get more employees especially after this horrible debacle. I hope they fix the network/Update issues with a 2.15 build
Is anyone else getting a "double triggering" on the pads in controller mode all of a sudden? Any ideas how to fix it?
Never heard that one I hope you just had to reload the MPC 2.14 again.
Whenever I try to use stem separation, the whole thing crashes every single time. Anyone else is having this problem? Im using the MPC studio 2.
Off topic same subject updating plugins recently I installed from the in music software center and it went the wrong way I couldn't use previous usable plugins in software mode the free plugins hype and a few others. To fix it I just uninstalled the in music center software versions and went back to the older version. What I think happens is it installs over the version already installed from an manual install and replaces it with an in music software versions of each plugins. which makes no since they both should be from the same company maybe I'm wrong or it's a different plugin type standalone version possibly which shouldn't matter either. idk either way I'm not using the in music software to install anymore I'd rather just go into my account Download manually install manually no issues no problems? Posting this just in case any one else had issues similar. Also I didn't have any issues with the stems it just took about 20 to 30 minutes everything went well

i do find little weird its not complementary for hardware/software owners. not surprised, just a little dissappointed.
considering it feels like a "vanilla" feature that should already be embedded in the modern workflow, i feel like im paying 10 dollars for an update.
i still do not know what "Stems" is, but i think it sucks
