- MPC STEM HAS PROBLEMS during the first 4 hours. We checked everything and every way but still problems we reinstall and look at comments from my first video and it's bad so far.

You need to get the email first. If you get an email saying welcome to MPC stems, you probably won’t see it yet. I purchased 10:34am and got email 7:19pm. So, it’s mostly a delay in processing things into you account. It’s not immediate after you make purchase.
Glad I found this video. Same issue here. When I’ve checked for the latest software update AFTER installing the 2.14 version it says there’s an error. Usually says something to the extent of I’m running the latest version but now I get the error prompt each time. Also not getting the Stems activation option in settings 🤷♂️

i had the same problem . i put in a ticket and they got back with me pretty quick and fixed it . i love it so far
What did they tell you to do to fix the problem?
I’m in the same boat and by the sounds of it so are many other people.
Plus there may be delays because (depending of where you are in the world) the holiday season.
It Took About 2 Hours But They Finally Activated My Stems..!!👍🏾
Its not instant, they gonna put it thru each account for all the things you got registered. Patience. Alot of orders as well.
They’ll get it worked out. Is there some customer service that can get someone in the horn (or an online chat) to figure it out? Sounds like a universal issue across akai mpc products.

It's working now. I connected my MPC One to my Mac Mini with the M1 chip and Sonoma update.
It's working fine in software and stand alone version.
You got it working in stand alone? This is the software only release.

Same issues here. Installed everything, but Akai servers aren’t passing the purchased information along to allow for our licenses to work correctly.
Same activation issues, they’ve had for years.
I’ve had 504 error re started a couple of times after force quitting. Then manually plugged in my mpc to Ethernet and updated again . Then logged back in on mpc software and finally it showed up in preferences. Clicked on activate and now showing activated but still having problems with the software.
My CPU usage went up after updating. Waves Abbey road chamber plugin is now a no no.
You probably know more about an MPC than anybody and if you are having issues that really lets you know there is a problem!
I put the serial number in my MPC Key 61 three different times, but the serial number isn't recognized!!! Can't Akai make this thing easier to install????

When doing online update and after complete I get the error “Update not done due to internal error. Please try again later.” MPC bricked after update ?
You have to wait about 4 hours after purchasing... customer service said system was overwhelmed however after bout 4 hours I finally got my welcome email . Purchased at 1229 finally was able to activate at 330...

And you have people who know more , waiting for a stand alone version; Okay then!
Downloaded it with no problems the other day and used it a few times. Today I opened up the daw, and put a sample in and it closed. Re started my computer and it started processing the stems and then it says stems seperation canceled. I'm trying to re download the update now, guess we'll see what happens.

I had errors also but how I got it to work you have to hook up your Mpc with the cable that came with your Mpc .then click on activation of stems,on your Mpc it will ask to go in controller mode then the activation will complete
I got it activated but when I try to stem separate I get “unable to stem separate”
Question, is everyone using MPC Beats or MPC 2? Everyone I see is using MPC 2, I only have the free software. Does this even matter?

Never heard of that problem, guess is to reload the MPC 2 software first then work from there.
They may be getting overwhelmed with everyone on it at once. Could be causing issues. Anyone else’s change in the last few hours?

You have to make sure that the email address that you purchase it with is the same email address that you're inmusic brand email. I had the same problem but I went back and got another download with the email address that's exactly the same as my in brand music account

You have to email them and have the email transferred. I was in a similar situation.
Akai states there is a issue with licensing assignments to the users act
I am getting the same error it will not register
Try updating the firmware as well.
Every time I try to process a sample in stems it crashes
I hope it's fixed by now.
Try to register it with serialnumber it works on my mpc x se
the moment it will work, i will create a song with all the negative comments (a 2 hours song)

The real problem I had was I had to reinstall the driver for controller mode cuz it wouldn't connect after getting things right

I'm having the same exact problem on my MacBook M1 air
I got a MacBook Pro M1 same problem it's been over 11+ hours.
Yea I was able to activate the stems but when I try to stem out the samples it says "unable to initialise stems system"....
I still can't download. I bought it around 10 this morning.

I had to buy mines twice smh stupid shit. Once I did that it was active to activate.

Try rebooting everything it worked after I did that.
@@user-fw6lm1tn5p Log out of everything disconnect from controller mode and restart computer. Then log back into everything. That’s what I did and it works now.
