  • This is an instructional yoga video. It begins with a guided mediation. It's great for the end of the day, or if you're feeling stressed out. It's a gentle practice with a bit of an emphasis on hips. Good for all levels including beginners.

Thank you for this lovely, simply practice. Gets at the core of what yoga can really do. Although it felt like the 5 minute savasana was only one minute. ? Your pacing and voice and phrasing are very soothing and I like that you don't talk too much - and let there be SPACE. I think that's a challenge for some teachers - to just allow the absolute quiet as much as possible. Thanks again. Looking forward to doing many more of your videos.

+sahib5 I agree, it can be distracting to have too much talking or music going on in the background. I like to keep it kind of chill. So sorry for the short savasana

I love your videos because you have the soothing approach that I feel is very important in yoga (I have not returned to many a yoga class because of silly things like inappropriate music!). I particularly love your meditation videos and personally would love to see some more, especially longer ones x

Ah thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed. I've had such a stressful week of exams and I could feel the tension everywhere. I feel so relaxed now ahh

When I do the "knee over the body", after pulling knee into chest, I feel a (very) slight uncomfortable feeling in inner hip (both sides)
could you perhaps shed some light on what/why this is?
it doesnt make sense to me why a strain would be there when im not "opening" the inner hip
ps. these videos are more beneficial for me than any other yoga videos

I'm so glad, I found your channel. It's such a good way to calm down.
You're the first yoga person on youtube I found who includes sequences
of meditation as well. Thank you so much!
Sorry if somebody asked already for it: Why is the break in the video always shorter than you announce? In the end you say we will stay in Shavasana fpr 5 minutes... but it's only five seconds, right?
Noticed this in other videos, too.

I think it got cut off - this is a very old video - all newer videos made within the last year and a half should have a full five minute savasana

What happened to the "5 minute" ending? 😶🙊

Hi :) i just started doing yoga at home instead of my lokale yoga center, and have enjoyed and completed a few of your yoga sessions. I was wondering, what yoga mat do you recommend? Thickness and brand name? :)

John Knudsen I like the jade harmony many. It's the perfect thickness and super high quality: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ECD6N2/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000ECD6N2&linkCode=as2&tag=yoga06c-20&linkId=4YBSMDYXS6AUNLBT
