Legends says the marine is still pointing upwards till this day.
One of the legendary series!
Happy 20 years Starcraft
And still no CGI starcraft movie ...
video game movies suck anyways
jojo Dyson Someone just has yet to make a good one. Blizzard has made some fantastic shorts with Overwatch, if anyone could make a StarCraft film, it's them.
I mean... they failed with the Warcraft movie so I don't think that they are going to make another film
that movie was good..I really enjoyed it
Angelo Blizzard wasn't even really involved with the Warcraft film. They just licensed it out.
Still waiting for Starcraft Ghost... xD
NosiWosi same
THE BEST RTS FRANCHISE OF ALL TIME
Beer_Wolf me too man I am trying to make generals work on Windows 10 but all I get is just crashes
Starcraft and C&C makes most of my childhood
Warcraft.
you know that's right
It was also ported to the n64
First pc game in my life
All the nostalgia made me cry a bit. :|
I've played an ungodly number of hours since the *demo* of the original.
same here dude
"My wife for hire!"
Bubble
Ajur sure your saying it right.
Lina Mayela Mayela "YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PIE THONGS!!!!"
I think thats one of the oldest internet/game jokes that is still used to this day. And I would know, I used to play back in the day, when dial-up was still the norm.
Dude that´s kind of "20 years " old
Hiring wives like it's 98.
been starcraft fan on the start.
Though I might not be as old as most of you, but I remember the day I first played Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty when I was still 9. I absolutely love the Starcraft franchise. Starcraft, Starcraft Brood War, Starcraft 2 WoL, Starcraft 2 HoTS, Starcraft 2 LoTV, Starcarft 2 Nova Covert Ops, and Starcarft Remastered. Wings of Liberty will forever be my favorite. En Taro Adun, En Taro Tassadar, En Taro Zeratul, En Taro Artanis. Happy 20th Anniversary of Starcarft everyone :)
That is the same for me. I remember when my older brother was stuck on the first Terran mission of BroodWar, and I got addicted since then.
RTS genre has never been popular among our age group, but I stood by it. Years after years even till this day.
Wow, you're 16 now? I started playing SC BW back in the day i was like 6 or something back in the 2000s lol was the third game i "played" after warcraft 2 and snowbros
I am 16 now too. I started playing StarCraft in 2006, since then it has been my favorite gaming franchise. The lore, the gameplay, the setting are amazing. Btw, I see you like Protoss so all I have to say to that is... FOR THE OVERMIND! Protoss filth!
Actually at the moment I am 13.
Wow this made me feel old lol. We're kinda alike though. I started playing starcraft around 1998 or 1999 when I was 8 or 9. It's good to see starcraft getting love from a newer generation
EN TARO ADUN!!!!
EN TARO TASSADAR!!!!
EN TARO ZERATUL!!!!
ENTARO ARTANIS!!!!
FOR THE OVERMIND!!! You filthy Protoss!
you want get purified? because thats how you get the purified
And speaking about filth xD lole
Laurentiu Anton how about a new Fall of Aiur. We can do it, don't worry. I bet Niadra is already on it.
your best leader was the influence of a fallen god (aka 1 brood mother with 2 hatcheries is useless and not to mention the ship got almost destroyed by the engines destruction) + most of the protoss are united.
You dare threaten a Cerebrate?
Nova Covert Ops gets no love in this video....
lol ikr
Yeah ...
Neither does Starcraft: Ghost.... oh wait..:( FeelsBadMan
The God Emperor thanks for the feels :((
I wish we had gotten that game... was really hoping it'd be like the Starcraft version of C&C Renegade (which is probably my favorite shooter I've played online, just had meh netcode)
no starcraft ghosts lol
No Nova covert ops. Double lol.
Poor Nova lmao
She fights for nothing :'(
It's there, you just can't see it
we need detection for that
Wow 20 years, I hope it will have 20 years more they should announce what will be in the future for Starcraft in the anniversary.
Need stukov own small campaign like nova.
I'D love a prequel with the UED, playing as Stukov&DuGalle
And a Tal'darim campaing dammit!
Niadra mission pack?
My childhood from Starcraft 1 to now has been blissful due to this series with so many fond memories. It is and always will be one of my top favorite game series forever and I will continue to play it as I grow older.
En taro Adun!!!
En taro Artanis!!!!
Proud to have been with you since the beginning. I remember having LAN on this game with my friends. And playing online on a 56k modem. Great times. ;-P
I suddenly feel old. Man the lan parties back in the day playing OG starcraft was fun. We still play defend the temple now and then even today.
My life for Aiur
I was 13 when Starcraft 1 came out. I remember playing this game and being hooked for hours. Accidentally stayed up all night playing on the family windows 95 computer on a School night and getting grounded. Such a fun experience.
I'm so old...this is one of the first times a company has made me powerfully nostalgic. I was 10 when this series started :O
IMHO, it's also worth celebrating something that's had such a massive impact on the gaming community and individual lives.
I can't help but wish it was going to be an awesome cinematic CGi trailer, a bit like what Blizz does for Overwatch.
Im 21 years old... I lit grew up with this game... Just watching this video gave me sooooooooo many tears!!! Can't wait for the future of Starcraft!
Was staying up all night to play StarCraft when I was young and in high school and 20 years later I'm still playing!
StarCraft released on my 8th birthday, so StarCraft 20th Anniversary is going to be on my 28th birthday!
One thing son, WHERE IS THE AIR SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG she took off her heels!
20 years have passed, and i still remeber you and what you did that day... En Taro Tassadar.

20 years and this is still my favorite game
Starcraft, the best RTS sci-fi ever made ♥️
While I’m still very much new to SC, the ride has been fun! Happy 20th!
Where is the air support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just awesome being born in the same year when one of the best, if not the best, sci-fi rts series debuted
It's even better being born 20 years before it so I can actually remember it first coming out. ;)
It is a shame that you cannot. :P
This series is exist 20 years. Woah, this is so many. Congratulate!
I remember first seeing StarCraft on a computer around 11 or 12 in Aerospace Design. Since the CD wasn't in the tray all we could do was use the editor. I made a "Zerg Zoo" using Zerg and Terran, adding all kinds of units I thought did things like the ion cannon model. Bought the game shortly after.
For the OVERMIND!
LOK TAR OGAA..
woah. Something just possessed me for a second
Dat strange feel when ye know that this masterpiece is as old as you are... But I'll never forget how this franchise (since original SW to LOTV) changed my life. Thank you Blizzard... ENTARO ADUN!
FOR THE SWARM!!!
I remember finding out about this game from my friend when I was 7.Now it's 20 years later............GG!
Starcraft Broodwar was my childhood, now still waiting the Starcraft 2 complete (with the 3 campaigns), until that, I can wait with Gray Goo, MechWarrior, 40000K, and others...
EN TARO TASSADAR
Custodes of Terra Xel’Naga were just pillar men all along.
Twenty freakin’ years of awesome, with shooty Marines, innumerable Zerg, and charging Zealots. Well done StarCraft, I like forward to a StarCraft 3.
I've been playing sc since 2008 and it's still my favourite game of all time
Best RTS on the history of gaming
Command and conquer is the best one.
The best one has to be Supreme Commander. But StarCraft was the 1st one I played and I love it.
First computer game I've EVER played. A StarCraft Movie has made more sense than a WarCraft's since then.
Starcraft 3 please
EN TARO ADUN!
GREAT game even 20 years old make my heart skip a beat. stil hoping that more story and commanders are coming. keep up the great work.
So awesome! Thank you for the memories! Also, I love that Stukov is in the 20th anniversary war room art! He is my favorite!
those kerrigan feet
I hope you bring back all the wings of liberty players in the video, It was really sad to see the community fade over the years. When people say starcraft.. what comes to mind for me are all the great players/casters like Jaedong, MC, MVP, HuK, HerO, IdrA, Polt, Husky, Artosis,Tasteless, Day9 and I can go on and on for dayss lool! These guys were what made the game so much fun to play and watch. Really miss the old days.
You guys forgot the console version of Starcraft 1, and Nova: Covert Ops.
oh yeah, forgot all about that...dang
Definitely picked some of the most chill-inducing cut scenes :))
Original and brood war -- the most important games of my childhood along with AoE.
GJ on editing this together Blizzard! Touched on a little of everything.
Still got Chills w/ Tychus
happy anniversary to my favorite RTS franchises of all time
Man, what a long journey since the first one.
FAITH BEFORE FEAR!
It's been 20 years already?
This amazing series can't just end here,
Starcraft is one of my childhood games and I will never stop loving it 😘
Wow 20 years already
U should had stukov drink vodka in the thumbnail!
I hope they give us a siege tank mount for WOW.
Happy birthday my dear
The old game gaved me so many good times and failed zerg rushes
So many fond memories. Happy anniversary, Starcraft!
MI does the dying while Fleet does the flying
I love the wall paper at the end
Nova Covert Ops, successor of Ghost, is by itself a standalone series confirmed?
Now Alarak Ops missions for anniversary.
Snake_bgd I would love that!
That thumbnail pic is very cute XD
I still remember exactly where I was when I first installed StarCraft. My mom was a school teacher and she got to take her computer home during the summers, which I used to game on. She had it set up in the living room at the time, and I remember when I bought StarCraft not knowing a lot about it, and wasn't even sure if I wanted it. I used to play a lot of freeware games that were either awful, buggy, or had hugely limited demos, which developed in me a healthy skepticism for games. Up to that point WarCraft: Orcs and Humans and Descent were my favorite, which was a relatively high bar at the time. StarCraft was an unknown to me, but I saw the Blizzard logo (and had no idea what it meant, but it looked familiar), and decided to try it out. The game install naturally took a while so I spent some time reading the StarCraft manual. I was really impressed by the art and the backstory of how the Terran were originally convicts from Earth. The opening cinematic was compelling, and I loved how upon loading you could play all three races and that there was a real story and feeling of progression that felt very natural and intuitive. Fast forward several months and when we weren't having Mario Kart 64 house parties (it was a neighborhood thing) my dad and I played StarCraft religiously. I remember deciding I would follow the studio who made StarCraft to see what their next games would be (twenty years later, I'm now married and my wife and I enjoy playing Diablo, Warcraft, and Overwatch, and the most exposure she had to games before was casually playing The Sims). It was also around this time that I stumbled into what was a very niche gaming community where I made a lot of long-distance, very close friends, two of whom were in my wedding party.
It would be cool to see Starcraft remastered on a Nintendo (maybe the switch) console to celebrate 'cause there was a SC1 port on the n64
Look it up for proof
I would genuinely support that, SC64 was where I started playing SC.
cool
Brood War forever my favorite RTS game of all time
The POWER of this video, is OVERWHELMING!
Where is the air support!!!!!!!!
Came out on my brithday 1998, pretty cool
Ahhhh year 2000 going home after 2-3 hour kindergarten class (My school is near my home) playing starcraft and telling my mom to type cheat codes.
Happy anniversary my first RTS game
You must construct additional celebrations!
When you've see that starcraft logo, you've seen the face of god
20 years of FOR THE SWARM!
Happy 20th Anniversary guys :D
They should release a mission pack or a episode about the ending of lotv...what happend to Jim and Sarah? She went from xel-naga to human form and met with Jim in the bar(that wasn't Jim's dream, look at Duran-Narud).. And then ? What ?
played startcraft from day 1 20 years ago and never played online :)
Just got my 1/6 Raynor today....its a good day...
I WANT A RPG OF STARCRAFT
Brood War was the game that brought me to PC Gaming

Wow blizzard yet again you guys left Nova hanging.
BOMBON187 right? I got so sad when they left it out.
Maybe they left Nova hanging so she could turn into an actual "Ghost" if you know what I mean. :3
