To be honest not as playable characters yes, however as guiding NPCs in co-op mode Morales and Hammer are present.(Void Thrashing and Dead of Night missions.)

Let's face it, Joey is in the bar along with them. A battlefield full of heroes and Terrans constantly under attack and fighting for their lives? That's Paradise to a bar owner. Tychus and his boys and girls alone would pay for the damages. Throw in Jimmy and his crew, and ol Joey is gonna be richer than ol Mangsk Before this is all over.

im trying to think of who on the Zerg side is "dead" in canon that would be considered a notable character besides the Overmind and the 1 Cerebrate..i mean i guess ALL the Cerebrates are dead come to think of it, but we cant just recycle the Cerebrate idea 20 times
Overmind and ONE Cerebrate could easily constitute 2 characters but beyond that? im wondering what else would there be, for Toss and Terran theres actualy ALOT of dead characters between SC1 and SC2

Well, I mean, did Tychus reeeally die? Jimmy aimed a pistol at his face, pulled the trigger, and then the screen went black. So, according to Hollywood rules, this is totally justifiable.
@@vineveer4358 Kerrigan and Jim's dialogue at the start of HotS pretty much confirms that he's either dead or beyond recovering.
If a tychus and a raynor team up will there be some friendly banter lines between the 2 commanders? That would be a nice little extra :D!

I always wabted commander with just few heroic units, which can be modified alot. Also the Odin and big red button refrence.

The coop campaigns actually non-canon, so devs can have more freedom making it

The announcer guy said this was a "WHAT IF" scenario where he didn't die. He dead i'm afraid.
hes dead in canon, but blizzard has already stated that the coop mode doesnt follow the canon therefore dead characters can still be used because the whole thing is kind of separate
First rule of animations. If they don't show the body, they are not dead.
i call baloney on that first rule to be honest...and we know he got shot hard by Raynor's revolver that has been known to murder Hydralisks...and he got shot in the middle of the main hive on Char, what do you think happened to him? also they kinda clarified he was dead in Heart of the Swarm after kerrigan is de-infested in the lab, where she says "im sorry about your friend" and Raynor replies "dont worry about him, he made his choice, i made mine" indicating he was indeed shot dead in that hive
further, coop isnt canon so whether hes dead or not doesnt matter

Lol, this is weird, but in a good way. Also, the scene of Joeyray's Bar at the end was a nice touch. When they showed the bar earlier in the video I was like, "How are they going to explain that?" Well, there ya go. And I can't wait to get me some sweet sweet Odin action.
Also, (SPOILERS, hehe,) now that it's confirmed dead characters are coming, please do Warfield. Having a planetary fortress that can fire while hovering is a personal request of mine to be added to his army. Also make him a hero unit with his arm weapon being modular for different scenarios, kind of like switching modes on Nova but with more options: melee, aoe, single target high damage, aa, etc.
I see people typing ideas of coop-commanders or I just wanted to put a random one of my own.
The overmind owo And let the defiler be a unit we can make for them. We saw them in nova covert ops so they can be in the game. I hope at least. Also being able to build Impaler colonies for them would be cool.

On their news page of the SC2 section, it says with the 4.6 Patch update, so basically, around the second week of next month (September 2018), since that's when the game typically updates.

There is no one in there who were in the Heavens Devils
Look at the photograph shown at 0:27
If you use just a little bit of imagination, like the people at Blizzard did when making these units, you would see that the Heaven's Devils in the photograph are the same as the units but with less to work with.
no as in these ARE NOT the Heaven's Devils they were a regiment in the Terran Confederancy during the Guild Wars, these units are not the characters that were in this regiment.
To be fair, this is a "what if" scenario. You're right, these guys aren't the Heaven's Devils, however, there's nothing stopping Tychus from getting a new group of soldiers together and naming them that. :P
Except Tychus. lol. He's the only real member of the Heaven's Devils there. It's kinda weird for Blizzard to set up the "ultimate what-if" situation where in you discard canon deaths and still not use the original members :/

even though Coop isnt canon Amon is a no-go because all the missions revolve around you FIGHTING him in various ways, or fighting his efforts at universal domination i guess

as for coop, id like to see Gabriel Tosh myself, mostly because we have Nova so id like to see what the sorta flipside is, what would a bunch of Specter-themed units be like for example, obviously Specters would be a core unit but what else would there be? hard to say, thats why i think it would be interesting

How about an engine update so that the game dosen't use only 1 CPU core and drop to 10 fps even on today's state-of-the-art hardware? I think everyone would appreciate that.
you're the only one having trouble here, i never faced someone who had fps issues with sc2...
I doubt it. Making an engine is one of the most expensive and difficult parts of a game. That's why engines are often reused for multiple games. Might as well ask them to make SC3
@Gerhard Kiels they would have to remake the entire game if they wanted to change the engine so therefore they could just aswell make a new game (SC3 or WC4)

Even one of the most expensive and powerful CPU in the world the i7 8700k can't achieve 60 fps during heavy battles on SC2, a game that came out 8 years ago how is this possible? also since I doubt you have a CPU from the future there is literally no way you don't have fps issues, you may not notice it but the game regularly goes under 60 fps.

The fact that they mention collosai in that statement led me to believe it was meant to refer to synnergies, also isn't the grenades from those hellions an upgrade?
And besides keep in mind we're talking about 9 hero unit, that isn't hard to balance to be equal to an actual army if you remember that mission from Wings of Liberty where you're in the tunnels.
