dig the family vibes. i love my standalone for the safety, flexfuel, dbw, and canbus features. the stock ecus in japanese cars are programed very well from the factory where sometimes you can trick values and not even need a piggyback. some even have bus slots where u can install a pcb board to make a stock ecu run flex or multiple tunes, did that on a s15 sr ecu.
Cool. Very cool. Good info, as I like the standard ecu. Enough power. Thanks.
Sheeeshhh ... always a pleasure to watch your updates man
#bigpower🧒🏼
Can you do a tutorial for a stock ecu?
Awesome man
I’m swapping my 2jz from an aristo to an 350 now and doing an oem build.
Still got the stock twins on it but crazy to see you can push that power with a single turbo kit and fuel pump upgrade.
we will be back soon on the quest for 600hp
@@KBNZUS nice 500 is good with me. I’m just happy getting my 2jz in 350 fired up. Lol
Bro thank you for being real love the vid
🔥🔥🔥 hope to one day build my gs, dope content!!!
Anyway to fix that compressor surge?
Would this setup work on a 2jzge?
Wonder can be done same set up non vvti gte🤔
Ohhhh its a GTE. Thought it was a GE, was like damn dude you lookin to 'splode?
Yes GTE
Where are you locate? I would love to take my car down for you to help me improve it.
What size injectors bro?
Is that a sequential CD009 shifter? def love the no BOV sound
Yes it is, #teamnobov
Love it!
Whats the exhaust setup
Very nice build👌 Does the aristo ecu just plug straight into the is300 harness?
yes for 2001 it does, only had to move around 3 wires for it to crank up and start. much harder for 2002-2005
Do you run a Fuel cut defender? Stock boost fuel cut is about 0.8 bar right?
Brilliant video dude
I think I answered you on instagram but ill say it here for anyone else looking for the info. No fuel cut defender, 100% Stock Aristo Ecu, can see around 17 psi before boost cut.
Hell yeah!
I love your work. I have. Is 300. I did the turbo. And the fuel pump. All. I get is. Random misfire. And i cheked everything. Swapped spark plugs coils. And. I am about to quit . The protect.
Did you gap the spark plugs?
I gapped mine with a razor blade for gap. lol. Lol but for real tho
Not going down the ‘are you on stock ecu & 440’s’ as you answered that like a thousand times for people!
But have you ramped the fuel pressure up with adjustable FPR or anything else to get more fuel or literally just the fuel pump swapped?
Also do you have any more info sales link on the turbo?
Interested in wheel sizes, housing etc & did you run it just with oil feed & return no water feeds?
Thanks 🙏
I have not touched fuel pressure although the pump changed resulted in an increase I can’t say how much. The Turbo in this dyno video would be a CXRACING GT35 Journal bearing turbo with a .68 exhaust housing. Un sure of wheel size but you should be able to check there site for more information. Also yes only ran oil no water lines to turbo. My new turbo since it’s ball bearing I ran the water lines
When you ran nitrous was it a wet or dry system? And would you need a tune to do 100 shot on a stock GE?
Wet system, no tuning. I have a video on that if you have not seen it
Stock IS300 + Nitrous Dyno Day
ruclips.net/video/GPDnJYvWo08/видео.html
where did you locate the maf sensor? Can the ecu adjust the fuel injection maps while you are under 17 psi?
Yes see me latest video for a little more information
Nice results. Did you use MAF (AFM) sensor ?
Yes I relocated it to the cold side piping just before the throttle body
So if I'm using the is300 2jzge could I run the 2jzgte ecu? Or is that ecu able to compensate as well?
I’m not fully sure if all the sensors and throttle body would read or work correctly but if they did the ECU would be able to read boost
if you're willing to put in the effort, it is doable (look up ''HOW TO DIY NA-TT. 1K budget. 2jzge-turbo'').
You can also to some degree boost a stock NA 2J on GE ecu with piggybacks, but this is risky and you won't be able to push much boost.
Otherwise if you're building a GE like many of us, look up ''Sideways Performance'' or ''Rabid Jz'' on here for inspo
You will need to build the bottom end if you're planning on pushing more than 400WHP safely - Pistons/Rods
GTE Gasket, Headstuds
You will have to consider rebuilding your GE head for longevity of the engine, remember the higher compression
or
You can stll source GTE heads from Toyota brand new if you want to clean up the top end and not have to deal with adapter plates and such...
You will need to do Fuel Pump/Injectors
You will have to consider intake system, whether to ditch the stock piping and overtop throttle system for a front facing plenum
etc.
etc.
This setup with a standalone ECU is the way for sure + a custom wiring harness to suit your needs.
This route is expensive of course, but this will get you a reliable and efficient 2JZ build that will have superb potential if done right
Pays off to have a strong yet reliable build with good management
Teach me your ways
Can you run the maf in front of the throttle with a blow off valve ?
Sure. That's how it works only. Relocate and you are fine
Are you running a blow through maf?
yes I have it near the throttle body
did u use any piggy back? or just simply used boost controller to increase boost?
Just a boost controller, no piggy back
What intercooler and crash bar is that, does the stock bumper fit?
Intercooler was an eBay one and street faction crash bar
Stock bumper fits the bash bar. Not sure about the intercooler
HI BRO I have 2jz ge and I want make turbo what I do?what changed too make?
depends on your WHP goals.
300 whp just get a cxracing turbo kit and intercooler kit
400 whp- everything from before plus fuel return line, 340lph fuel pump, stronger rods and pistons, ARP head studs, ecu (Standalone, Det3 piggyback, or stock aristo ecu)
500whp- Transmission
What motor mount and harness please thank you
Oem motor mounts and factory aristo engine harness with 2001 is300 body harness
What fuel pressure are you currently set to in this video to achieve these numbers?
55-60psi
@@KBNZUS 55 psi of fuel pressure at idle with vacuum?
Was this car originally NA or turbocharged? Is the "stock tune" a manufacturer's NA or turbo tune/ECU?
It was originally an N.A. car but I swapped in the Turbo engine with the Turbo ECU
im literally building the exact same setup atm. are these numbers on a stock gte unopened, stock head bolts? curious because im planning on running like that for a bit.
Yes the motor is unopened, fully stock
@@KBNZUS hell yea! Thanks
What did you use to turn up your boost?? Electronic or manual boost controller? I have a stock aristo gte with a 6266. I wanna try this with a bigger fuel pump and 650cc injectors.
I have a manual boost by turbo smart
Would I be able to do the same on a ge?
Yes
Would you buy a clean title auto vs RB title manual. 🤔 around the same price? I wanna make a project
This car is a rebuilt title. All depends on your state and purpose for the car
@@KBNZUS build for track, street and sideways lol not as a little but can be
@@Mechegtmusic oem manual isn’t very strong so consider your power goals
@@KBNZUS I'll me happy with 300ph for now, but ain't it still easier to change s transmission vs a whole swap
@@KBNZUS I'm new to the game sorry for all the questions. I'm not mechanical inclined to do a whole swap especially if I need to find all the parts but if going auto then save up? I don't know lol
What ecu are you running you said stock but stock from what car??
aristo ecu for 2jz-gte vvti
Do you think a stock 1jzgte ecu can compensate like the 2jz ecu like that?
Yes to a point, might not make same power levels. Always be sure Afr’s are good and fuel pump is upgraded. I also recommend to move maf from intake piping to boost side
@@KBNZUS Alright, thanks. Have a wideband setup already and it's a non vvti so map instead of maf so will see how it goes.
This is stock gte ecu ?
@@gioc8870 what happened with you i am in the same situation but in the process of refreshing my motor
@MB BOOST haven't tried this just saving up to go stand alone instead. Not trying to risk blowing my motor up plus my stock 1jz ecu capacitors blew so leaving stock until I have a stand alone.
Stock air flow sensor?
Yes moved to boost side
12.5 afrs under full boost with nitrous on stock ecu is asking for a burnt valve or for it to explode lol jz or not
The car was 10.5 afr with nitrous not 12.5
@@KBNZUS not at 4:28 lol idk what you're looking at
@@jessethomas7673 I have the nitrous cutoff @6800 before hitting rev limiter. That’s what you’re seeing
what transmission are you running ?
Cd009
Been meaning to ask how long did the ge last on nitrous .
I ran about 4 bottles through it, pulled it running completely fine and it’s in another car that’s boosted now I believe
So it's just the turbo kit added with no separate fuel management?
yea the single turbo kit, on a GTE aristo swap with GTE aristo Ecu, upgraded fuel pump to AEM 340 and converted vehicle to Return Fuel system
@@KBNZUS ok I'm on my way to do a swap.i have a 2000 gs300 that I'm putting a 2jzgte motor in and I would like to take that route.simplest route for a good time, without the hassle of stand alone and tuning.would appreciate if it's ok to message you occasionally for some good knowledge on the build. Is there anything else I should know or is that basically it?,oh and I'm also running the gte cpu.im thinking there will be a need for specific wiring,do you have that info?
Yes best way to message me is on Instagram @kbnz.us. I don’t have specific wiring details for the gs but maybe can point you in the correct direction
@@KBNZUS nice ,will be in touch
is this a GE? NA-T setup w stock internals? or what
Gte vvti, stock internals
@@KBNZUS nice.. and thanks for the quick reply.. now i keep hearing _"u can't turbo a GE with VVTI"_ but yet i keep seeing them in videos... (i know u said yours is GTE)
why am i hearing this?
What size turbo
Cx Racing lists it as a GT35, it’s journal bearing and has a .68 exhaust housing

Car wasn’t getting power to ecu. Found the issue and car fire up strong!
Only issue now is struggling to stay alive during idle lol 😂
check spark plug gap and injectors

How much money you spend to get the 500 horse power?
Well I basically bought a $1200 turbo kit, $300 intercooler and $100 fuel pump

@@KBNZUS can you post the links?
Did you use any piggyback?
No nothing extra at all
So how do you tune a stock ECU?
you don't
@@KBNZUS so timing is oem map. Fuel is oem map. And only thing that's been changed is more air because of the turbo boost controller?
@@jessmane7773 GTE is mapped to read boost, your limiting factor will be the injectors
@@KBNZUS okay and so if I try this on my GE engine and ECU it would prob blow up because it's not meant to be NA-T
@@jessmane7773 correct
Boutta run a stock GTE ECU on my NA-T build with Manley rods and some other goodies, crazy that you can make this much HP on a stock GTE block tho
Gte block can handle much more then 500hp, I think the record is over 1000whp on stock bottom end
Not crazy at all this is common. If you said 800+ yeah that’s crazy.
@@KBNZUS Can handle 1000hp but only few passes because it is immense pressure on a stock block, the more hp you pump, the shorter the engine life expectancy
@@RB005TVLTURBOincorrect
The ring lands are a bigger issue than the rods
It’s also not really “pressure” it’s load and specifically when and where it’s made (timing)
Nitrous blasts increase load in a short span where as turbo is spread out, same with combustion chamber temps
You still need the ability to adjust fuel and spark. If done the bottom end is fine, if not the lands will usually give, the rods may bend after the fact but usually it’s the piston that grenades
The sidewall is shot but the crank is ok
This happens when someone lets off the accelerator, usually in a shift
There are many multi season 1k plus stock bottom cars in both drag and circuit
Stock injector?
Yes stock 440cc
Whattt that's crazy I thought the stock injectors lean you out?
The ecu is stock Lexus is or 2jz ?
2jzgte aristo ECU
