- New Show Alert! Welcome to the first episode of DYNO EVERYTHING. A simple show where we find cars and put them on the dyno! You have a 1,000 horsepower car? Sure you do, let’s find out. We’ll be doing everything from simple power runs to horsepower battles. First up, a 2JZ swapped 6-speed manual converted A90 Toyota Supra! This thing is built top to bottom with no detail left out. He’s claiming 900hp before the upgraded turbo they added the night before these dyno passes, let’s find out. Enjoy!

It's good to see Gary back on the channel. Although I couldn't help but notice Dan isn't listed on the crew members. Hopefully he's not gone for good. I know he's off doing some other things right now, but I was hoping that was similar to Hert heading to the east coast for a bit.

I'd personally recommend sticking an extraction fan in front of the cars to keep 'em cool during and after runs.
There's a massive fan in front of the car.
You see that round thing under the screen at 8:37 in front of the car? That is a massive fan.
This dyno actually simulates wind at speed. So there is plenty of air flow hence all the noise.

Someone's going to get scumbagged into blowing up a motor and those views will carry it into at least 2x seasons. Simple shit works. Dyno This. This vs. That. Build Bio. All filmed in a few hours each. These types of shows are easy to keep around.

@@madkas14 because it weights almost half of the 2jz but can still make 1000hp. I also love the 2jz but this here is an emotional swap, not a logical swap.
@@theo7709 I havent seen any b58's making 1600+on stock blocks. I'll stick with the heavier/stronger block. I'll even choose the Barra before the B58.
@@madkas14 I've never said it would make 1600hp. But if you want to build a 1000hp mk5, then you can just stick to the b58 and you have a much lighter setup. If you want more hp you can swap to what ever you want. If you swap a 2jz either way, then it is purely emotional.
Stock 2jz 1600hp 🤣🤣... Go back to reality mate, 800hp with a stock bottom end is the limit ...we tested many of those engines here and N55 S55 if the target is 1000hp are the most reliable engines and much easier to find parts

Noticed with some of the other build biology shows: we need more lights when they are discussing the cars. It is so hard to see details especially when they are standing around the hood.
This reminds me of RPM where they all guess the dyno numbers every episode.

In my mkiv I made 1011 whp with only eagle rods and arp headstuds and I had that power level for years with stock main caps and no issues.

I mean... I understand the love for the 2JZ. BMW has always out their I6 engines leaning at an angle. That made it that way back in the 70s, to lower the hoodline. Sitting in an E46, you can easily tell where the front of the car is, which is great on a car with a long hood. This car is sick. Funny how it still uses old BMW parts almost too well. An amazing build. Truly.

3.Thays why I love this show, dynos are tools nit absolute measurement tools for the most part, it's nice to see consistent results from one standardized location and dyno. Hopefully there's a big list of cars on this show soon.

Really should have started this new show with how you actually got a Dyno, would've just helped building up a new series.
Also would be sick to get a build bio say earlier in the week then Dyno video later on in the week, more content plus give some more context to the cars
Now this is a sweet supra build. Only thing left is to invite another high hp mk5 supra but with it's b58 still in it. Should make for great discussion in the comments.
Could call mike botti and his supra since his is basically the most powerful mk5 to date.

This series is going to be great. My only suggested improvement would be to either have the Dyno number guesses be blind, so you guys can't scumbag each other by adding a +1, or make it open guessing but have it be "closest overall guess" so if someone guesses 950 and it's actually 948, they don't lose.
