"Slower than a turtle walks backwards." Never heard that one before but I like it. Daddy Cornstar always comes up with 'em.
One of them there modern day poets.
Gotta love Daddy Corn Star. ☺️👵🏻🇦🇺
When the "kinebine" breaks, he gets sooo "flustrated."
Nice that Daddy Cornstar got to do the last pass of 2022 corn harvest. Impressed how Cooper is exploring new options but I think that goes to how Cole and Cooper were raised. Always fun to watch your videos. Hope prices are high for your corn and soybeans.
A testimony to how well daddy and mommy Cornstar raised them, they are always thinking, always looking to get new skills, to move ahead, and to improve things around them. This year was the fastest ever harvest, and next year will probably be even a little faster. With the bin site, over time, the farm makes more money. It's all in looking forward, thinking, planning, and coming up with new ways to do it. Great!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I LOVE when DC tells the stories of how they used to do it. That's a man that appreciates how far he's come. You can learn alot from those guys.
Boogity Boogity Boogity Boys!!!..... Congratulations on completing harvest 2022..... Awesome seeing DC in the John Deere today, so Happy Van Wall was gracious enough to allow you to demo the Green Ones. You guys should all feel very proud of your accomplishments this harvest season. It is also worth saying again that You all helping Denny this season shows us the character you all possess. THANK YOU ALL for bringing us along on your journeys, and God Bless the entire Cornstar Family, friends, vendors, and Maverick and Anna too!
In the late 50’s our farm used a red machine that was pulled by a Farmall M. No bin, the wheat/oats we discharged into feed bags by the operator (14 year old me). Hot, dusty, moldy environment. Lots of fun.
I'm one of those "city slickers". At one time I drove 65 miles one way to a customer site, ended up doing that for 7.5 years, I drove through 7 growing and harvesting seasons. I always liked seeing the harvesters out in the fields. Your channel has given me a new appreciation on what farmers do. It's certainly more complex that I knew back then. I work in automation so I always like seeing you open a panel back at the bin site. One thing that may be possible is the to send you a text if there is an error detected. That could come in handy to remotely identify any trips in your system as they happen even if you aren't at the site.
To loose a child at any age is heartbreaking. I hope Denny is feeling a bit better, and know he is supported by the farmers community, including subscribers. Thank you for telling us, knowing we are supportive of his loss. Take care🙏❤
truth
Could post a p.o. box so ppl could send cards to Denny??
Glad to see your harvest is done. Think you know Who to thank for all these blessings
I'm still praying for Dennys family. Glad harvest is done for the year. Hope you are able to get all the bugs worked out at your bins with the dryer and the pit and everything else.
Congrats on another harvest. Now we all pray that the bin site gets properly fixed and all the legal issues resolved. Thanks again for your entertainment. Let's me relive memories of riding in a combine and grain cart with friends up in Minnesota many years ago.
Last time I was on a farm the farmer had just gotten his farm mechanized. I got to ride on his old plow horse. My brother worked for him that year. Hard work and the wife said he had biggest appetite she’d ever seen. Probably that was in the late 40’s. Have all the respect for all you farmers❤
I’m ready for the harvest celebration. Just waiting for my invite to arrive! 😎
It's really enjoyable seeing you guys have a successful harvest and having fun doing it!
First combine I remember was a pull type Oliver, took three dumps to fill a half ton pickup bed. Last one we had was a Ford 642 built by Claas with a 135 bushel bin. It was the largest combine made at the time.
It’s always a good day when Cole posts.
Agreed! 😁
Too Dad ! My Grandma was Born 1907 , she told me Story's of seeing Electricity and knew Fangled Car's . Just think what it was like seeing Al this stuff rolling in ! I loved my Grandma !
Congratulations Corn Stars on another harvest in the bins, what a satisfying feeling it must be to see all that hard work finally to where it can pay off.
Thank you and God Bless to all our farmers...
Great DC got to experience the JD & enjoyed his reminiscing! Glad Dennis found comfort , such a horrific loss.💕
Congrats on a safe and great harvest🙏💕🙏
The last pass. Always a reflective moment.
DC your thanks for the information on the neighbors corn cut I remember when Sable helped on these excursions good job.
Cole, you were positively giddy on the last day of corn harvest, with talk of red vs. green combine races down the field! I’m really glad it’s over so all of you can catch up on rest and take stock of the ups and downs of everything that happened this season. My condolences to poor little Maverick because he lost his cojones but I sincerely believe that spaying and neutering is the only humane solution to pet overpopulation.
Daddy cornstars message was so touching. No dry eyes here
Thank you for the share,DC.
Cole, I want to thank you. I was watching a farm agri show this morning and they were talking corn and showing different corns that were developed, treated, etc. They talked about the new technology surrounding growing/harvesting. Long story short. I knew what they were talking about thanks to you 😊
Get this! The name of the episode on the show was: Corn Star
I want to see more pictures of the Oliver 545! We had one like it growing up.
I want a run down of what combines they've ran. Especially the Ollie's and White's
Cornstar family - thank you ever so much for taking us all along on this yearly adventure with you - the good, the bad and the ugly ... I learned a lot about farming and have gained even more respect for you and all the hard working farming families around the country. It is so much more than just dropping seed and harvesting ... the planning, the strategizing, the financial aspects, the building, the moving forward ... it is indeed incredible what you all do to keep this country moving. I pray that God bless you, your family and all those farming families around the country.
Thank you Nancy… we appreciate that so much!
DC, congratulations on raising amazing kids! The formula is there... 2 parents who love each other, care about their legacy, God and faith in the home, hard work and equal reward. This family tells us so much about what's happening in this country. Thank you all for letting us into your lives
Enjoyed that vlog, actually I enjoy all vlogs , but this vlog was extra special. Thankyou for taking the time and producing such awesome vlogs when you are all so extremely busy xo
Cole, only one I know that hunts Pheasant using a grain haul. Congratulations on the end. New record too.!
Congratulations on finishing up harvest and I hope it was a good one for you guys!!!. Great video as always guys and I hope you can finally get everything straightened out with the bins!!
You all feel like our family.
We worry and laugh and cry with you.
Good to see D.C. in a combine. Cooler yet letting him finish off the last of the corn. Hope all goes well with the deal Cooper is looking into.
Hip, hip hooray, harvest is finished. Don't worry Maverick, you'll be ok. I enjoyed watching the video, big thumbs up everyone. DC,your a pro on the combine
GLAD Y'ALL HAD A GREAT HARVEST 🤷♀️❤️💯
Congrats on finishing 2022 corn harvest.🌽🌽🌽🍾🍾🍾
The last pass into the sunset. 💖
That is the way farmers help each other when in need. Brotherly Love.
The way we were told to do. 🙏
Outstanding! Now y'all get some sleep and rest up. Love to the Cornstars!
Listening to your dad is like talking with a good friend ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing with all of us. It's fascinating to watch how you all come together to deal with all the unforseen issues that arise.
Can't wait to see what happens next!
Kudos to Cooper . . . Adventure ahead!
Congratulations on finishing, hope you get top price, and come out on top..
You must do a “recap” video giving your honest opinions on the John Deere equipment you guys have used this season!
Congrats on another harvest I’d really like to think the farmers for there hard work and dedication and there service to our country thanks cornstar family and god bless
Congrats on finishing the harvest
Congrats on the 2022 harvest. I enjoy learning from your videos and my admirations for our farmers has gone through the roof. Hopefully you will post several videos shoing progress on the house remodel.
I think it's awesome Cole you're a farmer and you love it I was a mechanic engineer now I watch RUclips all day I'm blessed on top of sand mountain love the channel sorry for your friend
Just love your videos and listening to DC talk about the old days was cool. I lived out in wheat country and saw some really old Gleaner combines pull up to the gas pumps at our station and all the operator had was an umbrella to get out of the sun. Times have sure changed!
What an eyesore those windmills are, spoiling the landscape everywhere!
I'm sad to see harvest come to an end. Thank you for sharing so much with us.
Congratulation to all you did a wonderful job and thank you for sharing such a great year of harvest with all of us
Congrats on wrapping up harvest Cornstars! Now just got to clean and fix up all the gear....it never ends! Hope you get some good lie-ins now though.
The feeling your pops had running that machine gave me goosebumps watching the video he seems to of enjoyed himself after the stressful harvest he had!
Hopefully the harvest is done. Looks like you might get hammered by storms tonight. Praying you all stay safe.
Awesome. I'm excited for the debrief on yields and varieties and program vs no program.
I'm an engineer in Munich. I find this fascinating!
Great video Cole and DC. So glad y'all are done with corn harvest. Thank you guys so much
Yea it’s so awesome to see DC finishing up the harvest god bless y’all
Another good day watching.❤️. DC you're so funny.
I say that corn stalk moving was your grandpa saying good job family and Hi Cole!💕
Congratulations you made it!!
Glad everyone was safe.
Keep Smilin!!!!
Enjoy your nap Cole. Great season always enjoy the harvest. Hope it was a good one for all of you.
NICE JOB GUYS! You took it at a furious pace, even tho machines broke and set backs were had, you did it in record time! I gave an audible cheer for you!
Now.. onward to home reno and demo projects?
You and Nave need to do a live stream soon and give use updates on the house and the family
Really good video! Happy to seeing the harvest going well. Good luck to Cooper on selling equipment. Can’t wait to hear more even though I am not a farmer I find this so interesting..
Amazing job this season guy’s!!
I do hope you get all the problems resolved concerning the grain bins. Having grown up in Iowa, I remember the fringed winters and how ice can have devastating affects on equipment and concrete. All those cracks will expand if not protected.
Congrats on it being over. Will look forward to the results!
Tell Maverick I'm sorry to hear about his loss. Hopefully he doesn't have to stay in the cone of silence too long.
I about lost it when he greeted the dog in Spanish... Also, as someone that has only had adult dogs in cones, that is the cutest little cone I've ever seen.
He did good and only had to wear it a couple days:)
He's not "fixed", he's "broken".
Cone of shame.
Congratulations on your 2022 harvest!
Congrats on finishing up the harvest! Hope the final numbers are very good for you!
Congratulations DC on getting your first drive of the John Deere !! You have come a very long way from your first combine and your sleeping bag to keep you warm. Nice Job to everyone harvest 2022 is in the books!! Excited to see what is coming up on Cornstar Farms!!
There won't be much harvest left to do at the end of this week. Glad you all got everything done before the diesel shortage got worse and hopefully you enjoy some time off
Congratulations on finishing Harvest '22. Go Team Cornstar!!
It's always cool to watch your dad. He's at that age they he's seen several changes over the yrs in farming. If people had to even work have as much as your dad has to ver the yrs they wouldn't be able to handle it.
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜
Congrats on a successful 2022 harvest ! 💙
Congrats on finishing your harvest 👏👏👏
congrats on finishing harvest! now to get the house done!
It is nice to know that DC finally got to drive a good combine after all these years. 🤣I know how he felt in the old days. I ran a JD 6600 gas powered combine with a 4 row cornhead traveling about 1-1.5mph.
Awesome job guys hope it was a great harvest
That was awesome seeing you have some fun on last day.
DC is loving th John Deere. Congratulations on your harvest,
Another great season in the books. Now to get equipment cleaned up and ready for spring. Thanks for taking us along on this journey. Hopefully you can get the grain bin site problems solved before next harvest. Have a great winter. Is the John Deere Combine staying????
Always nice when the cows come home at the end of harvest.
Great video Cole!! Congratulation on harvest 2022!! I know it has to be amazing feeling going down those last rows of corn, but yet a little gratifying knowing it done. But yet you are wondering now what are we going to do. There is allot of equipment to wash and put away and servicing of all the machines. So there will still be great videos coming out. Now maybe the grain bin site can get completely fixed and by next year everything will be in tip top shape I know your dad would be very happy to see that happen he was so angry all this year over so many things that company did not do right.
well done good to see daddy cornstar back in the saddle so are you going green
Watching Cole and listening to the thunder I think my cat Smokey understood what you said to Maverick he had that look of fear again.
Congratulations on another successful season, harvests around the corner so best get a move on
Have a good night Cole and family. Enjoy your videos. 🌽 🌽, 🚜 👪
I enjoy it when DC can have some screen time. He can entertain without effort. He is a natural.
Congratulations guys, your the best!
Awesome all around video right here. Thank you.
Slower than a turtle can walk backwards!! DC!! Love y’all
Yeah. Hope it is good year.
I had a cold zing in my stomach when I saw little Maverick. Poor puppy!
Time for a nap...Congratulations on finishing Harvest 2022!!!!
The dancing corn stalk, one last hurray before it's over, congratulations on your finish hope you guys did good this year.👍
You and your Neighbors are great people keep doing what you’re doing
I liked the comment about the "OLD" Oliver combine. I remember from my "youth" (😕) a Minneapolis Moline " Uni". I think it was one of the first self propelled combines that could do grain or corn, hence the "Uni". There was no cab. You sat over the throat of the head and were right in the middle of ALL of the DUST. It had maybe a 50+ HP engine (same as a " U"?) and wasn't very fast. It did get the job done........ BTW NO electronics so nothing to go wrong.
The glitch in the matrix corn stalk was fantastic Cole, thank you for that belly busting laugh!!!
Thank you for the wholesome content as always and greetings from Sweden, prays and thoughts to you all
love your videos! now I can relate to the harvests here where I live. I can actually understand what the farmers are talking about with the corn harvest. I can work on the equipment but never understood the harvest end of it!
Wow. Excellent work Cole , Cooper and Dad cornstar. Really professional 👏
That lead in the fish comment was golden
We heard all about that here in Australia father cornstar
