I am working on my magnificent mansion, attempting to hook up the well. I dig dirt, pour concrete, wire new electrical wires, buy new parts at the store, fix a leaky pipe, run heavy equipment, fix the driveway, and more!

take some blocks, and build a nice little pillar around the hydrant/wellhousing, leave room for access to the hydrant, and an access panel for the well. and can put a plant or something ontop of the pillar, with maybe some lights

An old wine barrel around the well head and pipe for the spigot. Big enough to see, pleasant to look at. I was gonna say you could insulate the pipe in the barrel too but you just said it's an anti freeze system so that's a moot point lol.

There is so much purpose in having your grandparents and parents available to you as you have. On the well… take some of the old lumber that has been salvaged and build a garden house/well house . Nava and the boys could store garden hand tools hose ,etc. and this would be an attractive addition to your home. It could be as small or large as you would like. You could then plant a flower and herb garden to give your home the attraction you desire.

Place pot in the hole in the barrel grow flowers or herb garden . Lastly put a solar light to illuminate it in the dark for free .

    Congrats Roman!
The plant by the well looks like peony. After the flowers open, seed ponds will follow. Seed pods need to stay on the plant until the ripen. I.e starts turning brow and starts to split open. Just plant them in the ground ant two- three years it will poke out of the grkw and sfaft to grow. This plant has a symbiotic relationship with the plant. No ants, no flowers.

Hey Cole, concerning a well enclosure, how about taking some corrugated metal, wrap it around the well and hydrant, then fashion a matching removable conical top to simulate a mini-grain bin. You will also need to anchor it down from inside so it doesn't blow away with the crazy straight line winds you have there. Do it yourself so you know it will be built right. (Sorry about the dig on the bin complex. I couldn't help myself)

2 easy plants for that hydrant area in the driveway. Stella day lilly and Black Eyed Susan. Both are hardy in the north. Both flower for quite awhile during the summer. Both are easy to find in your area. Also, they die back in the winter and cone back each year so if you ever need to do any work and you disturb them, they will grow back, unlike a small tree which would have all the issues with roots etc.
And that existing plant us a Peony. Flowers in spring. 😊
    Looking good, guys!

Cole, I think it would have been better to leave a space above the concrete you put under the pipe, so you could slide a solid concrete block between the concrete footing and the bottom of the pipe. That way, if you ever need to work on the water line, you could easily slide the block out of the way giving room for tools and turning pipe fittings in the hole. It was a brilliant decision to add a new hydrant closer to the house.
Those brass fittings are top notch, though a bit pricey. I used stainless steel elbows on a recent water heater install instead of brass, since they cost less. Hopefully, they will work fine in the long run.

Congrats Roman! 4 under four! You need your own channel! Cole, I’m glad to hear you reached out to your grandfather. He could be an introvert and appreciate your ability to initiate the conversation, take the center of attention off of him and manage the ebb and flow of the interactions. Introverts want more connectivity with loved ones, but they find the behaviors necessary to achieve that very difficult to master.

Hello Cole my name is Jason from Springfield Ohio. You said something about making something around the well. You could build a gazebo around it. That would be cool. And I love watching the show.

Build something with boulders so no vehicle can back into the well and water fountain. Also, mark with a pole if you get 3 feet of snow.

Moon phase on increase will have more dirt from hole. Moon on decrease phase won't have enough to backfill.
