Gary Chalk should be listed twice since he voices both Unicron Trilogy Optimus Prime as well as Beastwars Optimus Primal.
Animated Optimus is the Wild Force Red of this team, being the youngest and most enthusiastic but inexperienced member.
With Dark Nova wanting/needing something to possess, having Bayverse Prime and SG in the 10 seems REALLY dangerous.
In that case then I'd bring in Animated Sentinel Prime and have him become possessed (That version in particular because of his past with the version of Optimus from his universe)
if they actually did this, they should call it 'That's just Prime."

My take: Forever Yellow.
All the bumblebees, hotshots, Lio Juniors various other yellow kid appeal characters team up do defeat the insane Zarak Maximus. At some point Zarak Maximus will mutate into Majin Zarak, And they will success in banishing him into a timeless void, which he will eventually be freed from in Lio Convoy is in Immediate Danger.
Someone needs to Patreon request a version of this that would be TJ's worst nightmare. A Forever Red style story where it's all Hot Shot.
Personally, my lineup would have been like this:
G1 Optimus Prime - Leader
G2/Comic Optimus Prime - Artillery
Optimus Primal (sized up like Kingdom) - Strategist
Robots In Disguise 2000 Optimus Prime - Rescue Work
Armada Optimus Prime - Warrior
Animated Optimus Prime - Youthful Motivator
Aligned (Prime/Rescue Bots) Optimus Prime - Support
Cyberverse Optimus Prime - Defender
Primal Prime - Powerhouse (he is made from the Matrix and data of Prime, so he's valid)
Rodimus Prime - Wild Card (the Quantum Ranger equivalent here)
This makes me realize that transformers legacy is missing something. A story and a multiversal threat as an antagonist. It’s just a bunch of random universes of characters just showing up out of portals
There was meant to be a cartoon but it got cancelled where they would explain why multiple universes are coming together

I worry about writing Bayverse Prime because, much as I dislike the portrayal, I acknowledge that he has his fans, and I don't want to make it so that he feels like an outlier amongst the Primes

If Vector Prime is the Quantum Ranger in this analogy, then Trilogy Optimus is the Time Force Red of the group, since he's from the same continuity.
See, I like Bayverse Prime as a sort of “Injustice Prime” so it would be cool to see him contrasted with other Optimus Primes. Also I am here for the Bayverse Prime and Shattered Prime bromance!
Dude Shattered Glass Optimus being on the team makes it even more interesting and nerve racking for a story
I actually like the idea of including Bayformer Optimus and Shattered Glass Optimus FOR THE FACT that they are less like the other Optimus Primes. They're more willing to get violent to solve problems, to the point of psychotic. Most Primes hold their high ground, these two will take that high ground and shove it. They would work simply for being morally and ethically DIFFERENT from most Primes that in itself would probably throws Dark Void's plans askew. And you have 'team player' Primes in the group to help keep them... well, on task to the greater goal, I don't think you can keep those two completely in line.
Thinking about it, What If you pulled a "The Constructicons can't form Devastator" and have some evil force (G1 Galavatron? Quentissons? SG Scrounge?) try to rebuild Planet Unicron but without that inconvenient "Unicron" part; basically a sparkless War World that eats planets...
...and THEN (maybe) Dark Nova gets involved...
I had a similar idea for a comic. Where a Megatron goes dimensional hopping to collect all the dimension's Megatrons to defeat the Optimus'.
Of course the O.P(rime). Gets ahold of the dimensional machine and gathers the Optimus Primes together. Each dimension would be a cartoon/movie universe (and shattered glass because it would be cool) and the Megs/OPs would be in the series art style while in that universe.
Of course, Starscream decides to try this too, but they end up fighting with each other.
Just imagine the epic final battle. (Also, imagine Animated's Megatron in Prime's art style.)
Excellent idea! I love the Optimus Roster, and I absolutely love the inclusion of Rescue Bots Optimus Prime. I was scared with Shattered Glass being a member, but you made it make sense. I think it would be cool if Dark Nova made his own legion of Megatrons to combat Vector's Optimus Primes. Great Video!
All the Optimuses (Optimi? Opti-people?) combining together to form Alternity Optimus would almost certainly be UT Optimus's idea. Like you said, the dude's a combination addict. lol
I had the idea for some similar to this that I called “till all are prime” and instead of dark nova it would the megatron of each universe teaming up to join forces or to serve a bigger thread
To be fair, Michael Bay Optimus Prime became the way he is thanks to Revenge of the Fallen. The forest battle made him realize he can't show mercy. Optimus may have doomed humanity by leaving Sam to the cons. Then his revival he learned, and what he learned is to show no mercy to the enemy.
I had a similar idea once where the Optimus primes meet each other
Animated Optimus would look up to G1
Bayverse would question his methods seeing all these other primes.
WFC would feel insecure about his leadership skills and have a conversation with Marvel Optimus who can relate to the feeling of having to live up to something.
Shattered Glass Optimus would reluctantly work with the other primes, and would try to convince the more violent primes to join him.
I'm picturing Shattered Glass and Bayverse Primes being kept in boxes with a switch that says "break in case of cosmic catastrophe".....

I feel like Dark Nova and Unicron would be less of a possession situation and more so an Ultron Sigma styled fusion.
I think Shattered Glass Prime is a brilliant choice. Since Optimus is used as a shared name rather than just different Universe versions of the G1 character, it makes sense. And it would be great for the story.
See, my idea for a “Forever Red but Transformers” story would be one that goes for the weird Optimuses. Sure, we can have Sunbow Prime, Unicron Trilogy Prime, and Animated Prime, but that’s where it ends for the traditional guys. The rest of the roster would be Machine Wars Prime (from a dystopian universe where he and what remains of the Autobots battle against Starscream’s zombielike hordes of drones), Universe 2003 Lady Optimus/Yellow Splendid Convoy, Go-Bot OP, Transformers vs GI Joe Optimus, Beast Hunters green Optimus/Green Tender Convoy (from a world where the Predacons were successfully resurrected), Triple-Threat Prime (from Beast Wars Uprising; represented by his Titans Return toy with the Thirteenth from the Throne of the Primes pack as Hi-Q and Captive Pinpointer from the Netflix Megatron pack), Optimus Exprime (Transformers: Go!), and Reverse Convoy (as the wildcard).

Instead of Dark Nova merging with Unicron, I'd have the villain be Beast Wars Megatron, merging with Dark Nova.
Thats why Primal is there. He has the most experience with this Megatron. The most dangerous Megatron of them all. The one who bent Time itself over his knee and single handedly conquered Cybertron.

How about how would Big Finish Productions have handled Transformers in the vein of their Doctor Who audios? Original full-cast audio dramas set before, between or after the on-screen adventures with them giving under-explored characters time to really shine, add more depth to the world building, patch up some continuity goofs in creative ways or explore new territories.
Sunbow G1 has the time period between Season 2 & The Movie. What happened in between?
Beast Wars has Cybertron. What led up to the Beast Wars and what went on behind the scenes?
Unicron Trilogy has the whereabouts of certain characters. Why doesn’t Armada Starscream mention Thundercracker when getting his upgrade but doesn’t recognise Cybertron Thundercracker nor does he look anything like Starscream? Where was Red Alert during Energon?
Animated has many unexplored portions. How did Blackarachia meet up with the Decepticons, how did Ratchet actually meet Optimus Prime, how Megatron became the leader of the Decepticons and so on.
Prime has the continuity snarls of the High Moon games. How was Starscream able to be back in Megatron’s good graces and how Optimus Prime lose a large chunk of half his Autobot crew?
Marvel has a lot of unexplained or unexplored events in the canon. How can we reconcile Earthforce, UK and US lore into a cohesive whole?
The list goes on.

There is one Power Rangers nitpick, although that's one that "Forever Red" itself gets wrong (or maybe Tommy was lying to assuage his ego?): the Rangers never defeated the Machine Empire; instead, it was Rita and Zedd, the villains of the first three seasons, who actually defeated the Machine Empire. Then the writers decided to drop that whole plotline of their return to try and conquer Earth when Turbo came along.
Lion Prime from Beast Wars 2 would be a funny addition
There has to be a scene where a bad guy looks down on Rescue Bots Optimus and makes a comment on how cartoony he looks, then, in Peter Cullens' most epic voice he'll say "You have a problem with cartoons?" before laying an ABSOLUTE smack down.
On an unrelated note, I'd like Hearts of Steel Optimus to be in there somewhere, just for the novelty of seeing the steampunk universe version mingling with all the others, and there has to be at least one scene where he fights side by side with the most futuristic looking version of Optimus just for the novelty of the contrast.
If we're talking movie 1-3 bayverse prime. He isn't a psycho. He just willing to terminate enemies more then most of the other primes!

Ok I’ll grant you using Rescue Bots Prime, but only if someone (Bayverse Prime or Primal in ape mode) rides him in T-Rex mode like Bayverse Prime did with Grimlock in AOE.
If we could stretch a little I’d add in Rodimus, Star Saber, and RID01 Prime. Daring-ness, compassion, and optimism
honestly I've been rewatching cyberverse and that Optimus really grew on me
Every choice makes sense, but I personally would have switched IDW Optimus one of the reformed Megatrons: it adds an interesting dynamic to the group by having them try and adjust to their oldest enemy, and create tension with SG Optimus, who is already a nutjob. (Plus if it's IDW Megatron, we get our cynic, and a freaking medic which this team lacks)
The title made me think the Red Rangers decided to collectively beef with The Transformers lol
One major thing I would do is have Unicron Trilogy Optimus be from after Transformers Cybertron. And have him & Vector Prime refer to each other as old friends.
Rescue Bot optimus also has the benefit of a T-REX MODE! :p

Rescue Bots Prime to Animated Prime: "Stay away from Movie Prime, young one. He's a Bad Influence on growing Primes like yourself."
I'm going to approach this a little differently. I'll go over my picks for Optimus Primes first and then I'll tell you who the villain is at the end.
1. G1 Optimus Prime: Just the original Sunbow cartoon version.
2. Optimus Primal: Specifically in his Optimal Optimus body because that's when I think he was the most powerful.
3. RID2001 Optimus Prime: I'll Throw Ultra Magnus in as well so they can combine to form Omega Prime because not everyone in Forever Red was actually a Red Ranger. They did have a few other fan favorites show up as well.
4. UT Optimus Prime: And I'm going to choose the Energon version. There's a couple reasons for this. 1. Because I'm including the combiner partners as well and out of Jetfire, Overload, Omega Supreme, Wingsaber, and Leobreaker, it's pretty obvious who's going to be the most powerful there. 2. Energon Optimus is also a lot more versatile just by himself because he doesn't have just one Super mode like the others, he can arrange his drones in different ways to best suit the situation. He also has 2 different combinations with Wing Saber instead of just one combined mode.
5. Animated Optimus Prime: Including his power up armor from the end of the series.
6. Prime/RID2015 Optimus Prime: Specifically the Beast Hunters version cause he seems to be more powerful in that body than his original form or the body he'd get later in RID2015.
7. Rescue Bots Optimus Prime: I'm going to ignore the whole aligned continuity thing that was not aligned at all and treat this as a separate character from the above entry. So this is an Optimus who would be a triple changer also having access to his T-Rex mode.
8. Cyberverse Optimus Prime: That's a pretty self explanatory one.
9. EarthSpark Optimus Prime: Again this is kind of obvious.
10. RotB Optimus Primal
You'll notice I left out movie Optimus Prime in that list. So he's where I'm going for the villain and I took inspiration from the 90's Spider-man cartoon where he had to work with alternate versions of himself to defeat a threat who was also version of himself.
The villain is Nemesis Prime from the Last Knight. Not only is he being turned evil but in this story he'd also be getting a power boost from Unicron making him stronger and far more murderous than a regular Optimus Prime.
I think instead of using Vector Prime to bring them all together, I want to use the Matrix in a different way. Since it usually has a connection to Primus, and Movie Prime being corrupted by Unicron while holding a Matrix in his chest, Primus would sense that and gather all these Optimus Primes together to defeat Nemesis Prime.
So bayverse prime is the DOOMGUY/DOOMSLAYER of optimus prime's ?🤔

Given this is a multiverse premise, you probably need to think more "Spiderverse" than "Forever Red."
You need a reason the Optimus Primes get together, and presumably that reason is... an Optimus Prime. Maybe a parallel evil Optimus Prime (ideally a new character, but SG would work) wants to do something "multiversy" and you need Vector to recruit Primes specifically because they have the Matrix. You also want Vector Prime to be "on the run," or otherwise incapacitated so that you're not limiting the multiverse; this isn't "Ocean's 11," you're not necessarily getting "the best" team together; you're getting a team that happens to be the Primes fans know about.
Does the villain need to be an Optimus? No; you could have things be set up with a parallel universe's Optimus gets beaten and the villain steals the matrix. Maybe the villain wants to use Primus's power to do something terrible to his home world; maybe he wants to use it to do something terrible to all worlds.
Dark Nova is actually the Vok from beast wars
Sorry TJ, but when you picked Rescue Bots Prime, you also picked Prime Prime, who is also, BTW, RID(2015) Prime. They're all the same show, so all the same Prime'
I think before our 10 Optimus's would face Dark Nova which would be grand final, either each or whole team would face of Dark Nova's generals.

I feel like purely from a sort of legacy, IRL marketing perspective you HAVE to include Bayverse Prime.
Shattered Glass Optimus Prime, dam. Now I wish Psycho Red was on the Red Ranger team.

1. Ginrai/Apex armor power master prime.
2. Starconvoy
3. Prime prime
4. Energon Optimus prime, because I just had to include one of the Optimus Megazord namesakes.
5. Combiner wars battle core Optimus, because here’s the other one.
6. Siege galaxy upgrade prime
7. EarthSpark Optimus prime
8. Cyberverse Optimus prime, because like you said, he is willing to weaponize the matrix of leadership.
9. RID Optimus prime, because in my version of this scenario, he will need the power of his brother ultra Magnus to form Omega prime.
10. Animated Optimus prime, because whenever he needs to, he could call on his wing pack upgrade and the Magnus hammer.

I have a pitch for a transfomers multiverse movie, but it’s a bit more spider-verse inspired. There would be a council of optimus’: Bayverse prime, armada prime, animated prime, g1 prime, RID 2001 prime, and idw prime. It would be hot rod getting lost in the multiverse and forming a team of Autobots consisting of Prime Arcee, Animated bumblebee, idw thunderclash, Rotb wheeljack, and another version of Optimus that didn’t join the council. Basically bayverse prime would despise rodimus prime and with hot rod going around the multiverse, bay prime is infuriated and does kinda a Miguel O’Hara thing and attack him. I’d also love to have armada hot shot and SG Soundwave in the mix

I disagree with your take on movie Optimus, I especially don’t agree the he would ally with SG Optimus
he may lack the reasoning to not kill and sympathize with the decepticons like other primes do which is why not many like you like him, he still would make as the “most brutal” prime in the franchise. but in the, end he still cares about humans and the autobots.

@@kevinp.h157 After The Last Knight Optimus doesn't seem to really care about humans as much thanks to the U.S government basically betraying the Autobots once there was no more threat of Decepticons. At this point Optimus is no longer the noble protector of all life and just kind wants to go home to get away from all the nonsense that happened. While Optimus does protect Cade during this time, however Cade does offer assistance that explains why, humans as a whole Optimus doesn't seem to care about at this point and he only really gets involved when there a threat of cybertronian origin involved.
Granted I'm no expert in the bayverse, and keep in mind this is my assessment.
This would go hard as a movie. The final team transformation sequence would be the best thing ever.

I would put R.I.D. Optimus on this list for sheer fire power. The back half of his fire truck breaks apart into different armor and weapon configurations as well as being a weapon encampment and not only that if thing really get bad he could ask vector prime to call upon ultra magnus so they could merge into Omega Prime.
And as a side note
I personally never liked TF Annimated. I think the characters look terrible, I feel like I could snap them limb from limb with how skinny their arms ans legs are . No, just no on animated. Shattered glass prime is kinda cheating as he isn't even red in color which kinda defeats the Forever Red theme. How about pulling from toys and using the Volvo Prime? Or the optimus that could turn into an alligator?
