The biggest surprise is how SHALLOW the water is! I understand that the animatronics had deeper pools, but it seems like the "boats" are actually more like a car. Seriously, like 2.5 feet of water?
I know! I won’t ride the jungle cronies because of how deep and murky it looks. Scares the holy hell out of me. And when one of the boats sank back in 2020?! No thank you!
But I also have that Submechanophobia 😬
My neighbor’s father worked for Disney, so now she has a Club 33 membership. She gives it to us when we go 😂😂
He probably didn't just work for Disney, was probably atleast like a higher manager
@@christopherbernhardt yeah he wasn’t a cast member he was like a director or imagineer or something like that
Had the pleasure of being a Jungle Cruise Skip for 2 years at the original magic kingdom. Great times and enjoyed my time there.
Sure the animatronics still look ok, but a refurbishment with new animatronics may do this attraction some good!
The animatronics are built great, because they scare me!
Fun Fact: My aunt's grandfather was one of the technicians that helped build the animatronics :)
I think the zebras.
Lol it's all good :) thanks
@Enter1Dexter Vlogs my tour guy was so funny! He said: "why look at that zebra! He looks *D E A D* "
My brother an I were distressed kids an we went to Disney.. an this ride helped us forgot our distress, alot
I found this video and info very fascinating! I am one of those people who don't think of how things come to be (although I try to pay more attention now that I'm older). We always used to ride this, both during the day and then again at night. We always liked the two different perspectives at those two different times of day.
Love the Jungle Cruise!!!
I think the animatronics still look pretty good to this day, they were well made
Stickbar Gaming we totally agree, Imagineering back in the 50s-70s produced quality products
AMagicProduction Except for the fact they didn't anticipate Americans would become so fat that the boats in " its a small world ride" would begin to sink so they had to remake them lol 😂!
An awesomely classic ride, definitely a favorite despite how cheesy it is
If you love vintage tiki, you might enjoy some of this Disney related trivia fact…
By June of 1959, Exotica was the number one album on the charts and it stayed there for over four consecutive weeks. Soon it was used as background music by choreographers for aquacades, ice shows and became a frequent favorite of Chinese and Polynesian restaurants. Even Disneyland started using it for the entrance to its Jungle River Boat ride (The jungle Cruise). But, perhaps the most unusual place Exotica was heard was on the U.S.S. Nautilus where it became the crew's favorite record during their historic journey as the first submarine to go beneath the North Pole.
I find these fascinating- thanks for sharing dude 👍
Great video! You can't beat the original attractions and the animatronics.. I don't think the newer attractions with the rear projected faces are as cool.
I agree wholeheartedly, it's still tough to top Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion in my opinion.
Just two words: Hatbox Ghost.
Disneyland wouldn't be the same without the train ride, the monorail, the Matterhorn Mt., Haunted House, The Pirate Ship, Pirates of the Caribbean ride, Thunder Mt., Jungle Cruise, Space Mt., It's a Small World, Sleeping Beauty's Castle, the submarine ride, fireworks and the electric light parade.
Cool video
Love the Jingle Cruise overlay!
I can’t wait for the movie
Great footage and very informative. Thanks for this piece of History.
All Around Disney thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!
You have a great narrating voice. Love these videos! 💜🏰
Fantastic video! So cool to see them putting it together in Disneyland.
The Magic Geekdom YESSSSSS
Loved it thank you.
In a memory of Walt Disney (1901 - 1966)
Great vid
Corney skippers? You mean legendary, right?
Of course ;)
Who here is scared as hell if they get stuck on this ride.
In tokyo they travel clockwise, because they are on the other side of the earth
Love the Jungle Cruise. Such a classic! But I will say I don’t like the “Jingle” Cruise at all.
Disneyland already cancelled their version, it’s only a matter of time until Magic Kingdom’s comes to an end.
I loved the jingle cruise! So sad to see it no longer at the parks.
AMagicProduction what's the jingle cruise?
Melanie, it is the Christmas overlay they used to do I am sure if you search on RUclips there are videos of it
I've Been On The Jungle Cruise Boat Ride At Tokyo Disneyland Resort This Year. Thanks AMagicProduction Mate. X
Yay! New video!
Outstanding
PAPPY 40 thank you!
I remember as a 6 year old I went to Indiana Jones thinking it was the Jungle Cruise. Oh boy.
Technically, these were not " Audio-Animatronics". They were enhaced motion figures.
The first true Audio Animatronics were developed for Tiki Room, right?
@@megelizabeth9492 yes
great ride. but needs an update.
Hey I loved the video. You should do Peter Pans flight next
Wow The jungle cruise looked smaller because the trees and plants were not all grown
Disneyworld rules.
🏰🌳👍🏿
If you have a annual pass. Your lucky
In February 27th, 2020, The Jungle Cruse's Boat is has been Sink
Wasn't it also mentioned that Paris' Jungle Cruise was going to be using cars instead of boats because of weather reason?
Raphael Marquez Sort of... There was a proposed Jeep (dark) ride that would go into Adventureland but it wouldn’t be called the Jungle Cruise and also wouldn’t have a cast member on board telling jokes either. Think more along the lines of Indiana Jones at Disneyland. It got scrapped due to Paris’ growing budget overruns
I love jungle Cruise but now I hate it because of the puns skipper makes. It gives me a head ache. I didn't mind at first but now it's annoying. Last time I went though was kinda ok since there was an actual animal there and skipper thought it was an animatronic till it ran away and he freaked out and broke character and was like "oh my god its real!" People got exited and laughed
I agree that jungle cruise is a Disney classic, but I have to say that it’s queue is by far the worst one in Disney world(can’t speak for the others because I’ve only been in the one in Magic Kingdom). I refuse to go on this ride without a fast pass because of how bad the queue for it is.
Fast Pass is gone so there
background music?
Trader Sam looks way better at Disneyland
I'm a tour guide on the jungle cruise ride- Skipper Dan is the name...
