    This ride scared me so much when I was young; I have a great fear of falling/heights and I was *convinced* we were miles above the ground. As an adult it's now one of my favorites; so much fun to "fly" over the land, swaying and soaring in a magic pirate ship.

    Peter Pan did not become one of my favorite rides until I was an adult. As a child, I used my few C-tickets on both Autopias, or the Mad Tea Party. And with Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride being within sight of Peter Pan Flight, with which I’m sure always had a longer line, Mr. Toad always won out. I make sure I ride Peter Pan now even if the wait is long.

    As a 12 year old I got cut in line passes from a Cast Member after I turned in a lost pin lanyard I found.
    I used one pass on this ride because the line was always huge, otherwise we’d mighta skipped it.
    It was fun and atmospheric. I enjoyed going above the miniature streets and landscapes.

It Was Based On Sir James Matthew Barrie's Classic Novel Which Is Published In 1911 During The Edwardian Times And It's Based On The 1953 Walt Disney Pictures Animated Superhero Family Musical Blockbuster Movie Of The Same Name When It Was Released In Theatres On February 5th 1953 In The Late 1950's In The 20th Century. Rip to my and mh bff who was my second mom..i loved hearing the 2nd star to right song..and i loved at the end pixies dust. Lol..when i went on Disney bday. Wendy was shaking so fast i me fast as she was tied up..n i told a cast member as getting off the ride. And i said i think Wendy is on that stuff bc she is shaking so hard lol. The cast member couldn't stop laughing lol..but this ride is always 90 minutes..even during the closure it was still a long wait lol. Now snow is equally the same longer smh.

    I love these history videos! I love all your videos. Like your Queen Mary videos. It's a tough competition between the ship videos and these history/ride immersion videos. I love how you can see a good number of videos on rides from varying creators, but gain a fresh perspective on them with your on-site insight and hospitable spirit. Your intro got me wondering about complaints. Doubts this ride's significance? Oh, yeah! There are a handful of people who complain about how it's too short and not worth the wait and for kids. Anyone who says such things, I'll direct to this video!
    Those 2016 upgrades blew me away! I remember my first time on it after the upgrade. The GLOWING LIGHTS! The traffic in London! And the twinkling LED string lights when you enter Neverland. I still remember the magic of the experience and my reaction to this day.

    I noticed at the end of the original version of the ride your ship lowers. Mark of Yesterworld points out the skulls at the bottom implied to be other guests Smee shot down.
    It’s amazing how in these early versions of Disney dark rides your character dies at the end
    There’s this where Smee shoots you down, Mr Toads Wild Ride where you get hit by a train and go to hell, and of course there’s the original Snow White ride in Disney world (opening day version) where the queen pushes a huge gem on your character

    • @AlextheHistorian
      @AlextheHistorian  Год назад

      They won't alter the ride. Not becauseof whether people like or hate the movie, but more because it's a classic park attraction. They need the cartoon imagery to relay the storybook quality of the ride...live action can't do that.
