This is exactly the footage Paramount should have used in their official trailer for the show, instead of the most action-packed scenes. After great writing and a great story, you've captured what makes the show so great in this video.
This was amazing. So beautiful and so heart wrenching. Nothing has made me cry like this did especially the ending. This mini series was definitely second to none. Amazing writing and acting.

What is more crazy for me is that this show is just a spin-off, they had no obligation to make it this good

Still one of the most underrated TV series, this was just built, written and acted differently. The beauty of 1883 is just astonishing.

It is hard for me to imagine a better western. The ending left me devistated for days. Very few movies (if any) have ever done that.
Lonesome Dove captures the same time period of history equally well with tremendous music and acting. I wouldn't rate one better than the other.
