SPSS Bangla Tutorial 👉 Chi-Square Test / Goodness-of-Fit test

In this SPSS beginner tutorial, we have discussed Chi-Square Test. The Chi-Square test is a statistical tool used to examine differences between nominal or categorical variables. The Chi-Square test is used in two similar but distinct circumstances:
1. To estimate how closely an observed distribution matches an expected distribution - also known as Goodness-of-Fit test.
2. To determine whether two random variables are independent.

২০,২১,২২ তিনটা টেস্ট ই স্কেল measurement data তে করা হয়েছে। এগুলো nominal and ordinal measurements এ করা যায় না?

Chi-square test is always for nominal data.

Another rule if palpha then test is not significant.lower value of p has more chance to be significant. ie.p=.03 has more chance than p=.33
