I’m 43 so of course I remember the 80s Chia Pet commercials! I heard (perhaps your camera man?) say the name Bob Ross in the background. All I have to say to that is: I hope you find a happy spot for your happy little tree to live 😁. I watched Bob paint on PBS thru most of my childhood! 2 great memories & great recipes!

I just put some of the key lime pie one in the fridge for the morning! I normally sprinkle chia seeds on all my brakfast (eggs, toast, smoothies, pancakes, whatever!) but never actually had chia pudding so I'm excited!!!

I made the chocolate raspberry chia pudding it was surprisingly really good. It was my first time eating chia pudding and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I made a big jar and almost ate it all in one sitting! Thank you for the recipe I recommend others to try

56 & DEFINITELY remember the commercial. Who knew we were missing out on all that nutritional goodness & more importantly deliciousness. Do you do the no grain “oatmeal” with chia, flax and hemp seeds as the cereal done in an overnight fashion????

I remember the Chia Pets commercial, too! I had a few of them and even the Chia Heads. I believe the Chia line was the pets, heads, and a herbs (don't quote me).
On a side note, I could never get to like chia pudding nor rice pudding. I think its the textures. Thank you for the video.

MichelleK originally there was only a chia pet and then followed by chia man. Now theres all different kinds of variations. I have even seen an Obama chia head!

These are exactly the ideas I was looking for. I love making breakfast ahead of time since in the morning even such a small task can seem daunting when you're sleepy. I have a question, though - how do you keep your chia seeds from getting all clumpy in the bottom. Even when I whisk them really well beforehand they settle down and I end up with a very loose consistency at the top and lumps on the bottom which take forever to break up and dissolve.
I’m 21 and I remember chia pets! I think I had a mini one!
Just made a simple one with 3T chia seeds, 1cup unsweetened vanilla cashew milk, about 1T honey, and about half a scoop of Designer Protein's vanilla cupcake protein powder. We'll see how it turns out tomorrow morning. Funny thing about this protein powder - it was less than half the price of another one I bought... but it tastes and works so much better, lol.

I think my favorite recipe I've ever done with chia seeds is probably almond milk+chia seeds+2 tablespoons of ovaltine. It's tasty and super fast
