    Okay, so how's the economy going in Da Lu? How's the property market? and when are we getting the Chinese people's honest opinion (without the fear of disappearing) on President Xi? let's be truly honest Shayna.

      its pretty good, it is actually still booming. people are buying property at a big discount. i recently got one for usd 40000 but in tier 4 area. no one will disappear if you do constructive criticism. There is a hotline people can complain and they usually act of any issues

      Harvard's Ash Center asked and Xi got 95% approval, so through away what you heard from western media, it's all cold war style propaganda.

      To be honest, I don't know if Chinese people are afraid of disappearing for being honest. But I'm pretty sure the people who are always pointing fingers to others are not happy about their own lives.

    smoking in north europe (Latvia), it`s forbidden to smoke in restaurants or inside public spaces. You only can do it in allowed places or at least 10m from the entrance outisde

    Best about living in China is Price, Efficiency, Convenience while there are negatives such as Big Crowd, Smoking, privacy, stigma etc .
    However for those understanding both West and East cultural difference and Pros and Cons -- including Shayna Shares --- Leaving in the East and living in the West is kind of Unwilling Option.

    The affordability must be less stress, if you can get some partial overseas income coming in.
    I saw an American girl stressing on tiktok that her income is $2000 and her rent is $1600, U.S is super expensive now.
    Rent in China is $300-$500/month for 2bd apt.

    • @shayna_shares
      @shayna_shares  Год назад +3

      True. However, getting some partial overseas income in China is not easy. First, they need to know how to use the VPN without getting in trouble. At least Americans have minimum wage and EDD.

    • @tonysofla
      @tonysofla Год назад +2

      If you made some U.S/EU connection for video editor, programmer etc and then move back to China and they still pay the same super expensive living wage, you can live really good in China. I'm about to do it.
