Unfortunately Baidu Map’s software interface does not permit translations to English. What you can do is type the place you want to go in alphabet or pinyin and it still will show Have fun in China!

I was in China last three weeks and used Astrill VPN, which was working ALL THE TIME, even in Xinjiang (Kashgar- Turpan)

The blue paw is the search engine- think of it as google and the red pin one is the baidu map - similar to google maps. Hope this helps ☺️

I think now they allow it. Its best to set it up before you go to China and connect it
