I’m not a Walters hater, he did well with Ireland and played through injuries etc. But if you’re going to go on live radio, either give your side of the story or don’t bother.

Roy Keane is and does summarise particularly well. I think he gave enough in that clip when on tour which said it all. If Walters had enough evidence on his side he would surely come out now and say it.

Apparently it’s all because Walters took Keane to a party once, there was lots of fireworks and everyone was smiling all night. Keane didn’t enjoy any of it.
Funny seeing how intrigued Bent was at the start compared to how bored he was by the end. Just tell your side mate. You ain’t selling any real numbers book wise off the back of this story.
Keane is a nasty narcissistic who was a decent player during his career, but a nasty man who showed little respect on the field of play, and off it. By the way, I’m from Cork in Ireland. The city where Keane was born in and grew up in. He has very little respect in the this city regarding his nastiness.

Walters was a hell of a player, he was on fire at stoke and could have had his pick of top english and european clubs. Something obviously happened as he hints at in the interview, you dont have that level of talent and end up at stoke city no disrespect. I remember the republic playing France, it was Walters not zidane who lit up the stadium that night let me tell you. Hope he does bring out a book, it will be one hell of a story.
