  • UNFOLD ME :D
I got asked a lot how I did that, but was too busy (and lazy) to make a tutorial ~_~
(This video is a part of my Twitch VOD, sorry for the quality)
    - Spinning speed and direction can be changed with Angle input.
    - Stable spinning using Breathing-parameters:
    PositionX:
    -6 0 6
    0 0 12
    Duration:
    12
I'll make an in-depth explanation video and other Live2D tutorial series when enough people are interested.

I was looking for 20 minutes on how to repeat parameters in the physics tab and this was perfect, thank you!

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I couldn't understand this concept before now, but this video went very slowly and clearly, and showed every step. Now I can finally understand how the mechanics work. I look forward to more Live2D tutorials!

thank you. i was using an idle animation for this but it was causing issues in the loop when i wanted to play another animation
btw, is there a way to make it slower other than changing the duration? if i set the duration to be too long it doesn't manage to get going in a spin, at least not within a reasonable time

I have the same problem. In the description is: "Spinning speed and direction can be changed with Angle input." but i tried it and either it doesn't work, or i'm doing something wrong.

I did everything the same as you, and it worked at first but I noticed that sometimes when I closed the physics windows and opened it again later, the pendulum would not "initialize"/"start" in a straight-down position, but was laying horizontally instead. Which causes it to not rotate at all with the breathing movement and stay horizontal. Does anyone know how to fix that ?

Ever since last night I have watched around 4 to 5 videos on how to rig, and NONE of them explained the rotation the way you just did. I was feeling frustrated thinking that I'm too stupid or something, but LOOK AT YOU, you just SAID what needed to be explained so SIMPLY. HURRAYYYYYYYYYYYY

I did everything just like you, and at first it worked, but now for some reason it doesnt want to spin, it just waves back and forth. does anyone know what could be the reason? btw amazing tutorial i couldnt find this anywhere and you explained it super well

This no longer works :c I'm in Live2D 5.0.5 and it just stutters. I've been trying to get it to work for the past hour but it just waves back and forth

Haven't been able to find something yet either

@nypherea895 I actually finished the model I was talking about here and in vtube studio, it works perfectly fine. I'm not sure why it's broken in L2D but it does work in VTS :3
