I had tried to get this conditional to work for so so long and something clicked today so I wanna say a giant thank you, your tutorials have made my rigs feel so much more expressive and it's given me confidence in my work, you're doing so good for this community and deserve the nice comments and love
I'm a bit cooked so correct me if i'm wrong: is this a way for parameter A to decide if a group of params B or C is active atm? So basically you would need to use a trigger button for it or tie it to another trackable parameter (1 set when you smile and 2 set when you don't) When i started watching i hoped this can be used to have 2 sets for hair physics cause i was always wondering how to make hair lively when you just chill but not to go crazy when you perform fast head moves. Thinking of it now video probably is about different thing. Still very useful.
Such an amazing tutorial, thank you so much! I have one question, though. My model uses the Idle Animation actively. A part of my clothing has light effects that I created as an animation and added that as Idle Animation. This also uses that. What to do in that scenario? (。_。)
@@The_Moki Oh so I can use one idle animation file for 2 different stuff like that? That's amazing!! I'll try it as soon as possible, thank you so much!!
I got to the scene blending section but when i add my Fast Animation scene, its not moving whatsover. I'm pretty confident i followed everything exactly in the video so am i missing something?
Thank you so much for the video! I tried to make such an animation for my tail, but it was wagging too much (even lagging) if I often change my facial expression from a smile and back. How can I fix this ;-; Is it possible to put fast phys on Type Angle? If yes, how to prevent the tail from tilting to the side? Thank you very much again and sorry for the stupid questions
I have everything switching properly, but the fast animation in VTube doesn't seem to match what I see in the physics settings? Is there something I missed, or is this just how it is?
Dont forget to set the fps of the model in vts to 60 max cause live2ds models is based on the number of frames and the second one make sure your live 2d is in 60 fps
Bruv, I'm gonna make a new YT account so I can subscribe to you a second time! The illumination in this one video is INSANE! I did not know you could use keys in an anim parameter to drive physics!!! That is fucking fire!!! I am totally doing that with the model I'm working on now!
I think I have a problem 😭 My first try is success, nothing problem. But my second try is weird. I do everything as the same process as first try and redo again and again. But when I turn on tail slow, the fast ph still moving and the slow ph not moving. I set Idle breath animation same scene with tail wagging, Am I do anything wrong?
I have an issue with how everything ends up looking in vtube studeo. The switches work but sometimes when I stop smiling the tail just goes wild. How can I stop that?
14:52 My Fast animation is already playing even with both switches off, and when I turn off switch 1 the tail gets stuck at. sort of angle... any idea what I did wrong? I'm sure all the params are the same as in this video.. ?
@@The_Moki Thanks for the response! It looks like tail speed slow is all working, and the switch does as intended. But for some reason, The phys fast is just baaaarely not beyond the maximum range- when I turn on the animation and max out the slow speed tail wag, I can see fast phys moving a little bit on the leftmost part of the parameter. When I move the 2 on switch to the middle, it oscillates just a small section of the full phys 2 range. How strange! I'll post updates if I figure it out! UPDATE: OH I THINK I FIGURED SOMETHING OUT- the anim parameter was only -1 to 1! I think it should be -30 to 30...! It looks like you made it that way, but in the animation screen it looks like you were only animating 1 to -1?? Let me try reanimating it and see if that works UPDATE: OK I believe I got it working, I'm not sure why my process differed so much from yours but I ended up changing the physics param to -20 to 20 (not sure it matters as long as it's less than the anim param) and increased the output magnitude and now the starting position for speed 2 is beyond the lower threshold, and now moving switch 2 on to middle position successfully brings speed 2 into normal working range! Not sure why I had to do it so differently but there you go!

Amazing tutorial, thank you so much! 👍
I didn't quite get this, (i think maybe I have to do it to understand better) but I'll definitely be back to re-watch a few hundred times xD

also do the tail wagging into your active idle animation thats it and loop as you need it

Nevermind. I just had to hit the play button at the top of the physics setting with the loop
thank you for the guide, i was looking for something like this!
This is so helpful! Thank you!

Great explanation!!
I'll try this some time in the future!

hooo that's interesting, thank you for sharing this...
Thanks for this information, super helpful
What is the previous video you mention? Is it the other tail video?
Yeap

ive done everything the same but nothing happens when I smile

Judging how it is the swithces are both turned on when you not smiling
please zoom in aaaa so small

Dont forget to give effectiveness to the switches in the inputs and as for the angle problem go to switches and reflect slow off

@@okasch.8412 one should be off and the other one if they on both at same time can be problematic
@@okasch.8412 that or change the effectiveness to a lil bit higher on the switch from 75-25 to 80-20
how would I make the tail go up when smiling? Is this possible at all? :0
oh yeah u can just use a rotation deformer and make a param rotating that tail up
!!tahnk you
idk what i did wrong... it didint work I'm not surprised though I can never get anything to work
