  • Here's a basic introduction to setting up physics groups in Live2D! Aimed at the beginners out there who just have no idea what everything does in that menu. This specifically goes over what buttons/numbers do on the settings menu - if you'd like to see a parameters for physics setup video, I have that planned! I also go over how to use the scene blending settings near the end of the video, a lesser used feature for beginners in Live2D!

    I became very confused because the tutorial I have been following never explained it! They jumped into the physics settings without telling me anything, and I became very frustrated. Thank you for making this easy to follow!! I feel like all the other tutorials keep on jumping ahead with the “just repeat what I just did” instructions (which I cannot usually do, haha).
    Thank you!! :D

    thank you for the tutorials, you're really a savior!!
    sorry for bothering, but may i ask you a question, in case you can advice something, i were looking everywhere up but didn't find anything that could've helped.
    i made glitter on the eyes and applied physics to it, so it would move/wobble when the model blinks.
    and then i wanted to have a parameter that turn the glitter off (lowering the opacity) (for some expressions).
    but when the physics is applied, the glitter still 'ghostly' appears while blinking even when the parameter i made ('no glitter) is on, is there any way to fix it? i dont wont to turn glitter physics off :(

      Okay im a dumb dumb,
      Just in case someone will stumble across this issue too,
      i needed to change the opacity of the deformer, not the object, to make it work damn
      Sorry for bothering xDD

    • @CutieDragon

      Hello! Yes absolutely! You setup different 'physics groups' by clicking add (what I showed near the start of the video). You can actually see the different physics groups I have at 11:17 in the group editing window ^u^

    Hello! I animate gacha on live2d here, and I’m not a vtuber.
    But I’m currently having an issue baking the physics to the animation in the animation tile.
    When I simply try the bake the physics, all the keyframes disappear? I’m not sure if this is a regular issue.
    With my last animation the physics imported perfectly, but now it deletes the keyframes.
    Is there anyway to solve this issue? If you’re not sure that’s fine!

    Do I need to add physics on my model’s body? I tried adding it and the model looks stiff when I tested it out on the right canvas. Please help. Thank you.

    • @CutieDragon
      @CutieDragon  2 года назад

      Adding physics to the body is an optional step, but it is something I do personally - it keeps the body a bit more fluid motion/bounce! You may want to tweak your pendulum settings if it's looking stiff though, or it may possibly be the parameter setup.

    Hello, thanks so much for your tutorial, its really helpful. i just wanna ask st when I rig my head, I use angelXY to be left, right, top and bottom, Z is for both sides, the body axis is the same, but when I import it into livePRP or live2D studio app, the model only move eyes, mouth, and hair with accessories on my head. She can't rotate up down, lean left right. in the physics section I rotate the mouse to move all the parts of the model, the model's head can't even rotate. Expecting your respond. Thanks so much

    • @CutieDragon
      @CutieDragon  2 года назад +1

      It sounds like there may be an issue with your head parameters! The physics window shows how your parameters will be outputting for x/y - you'll want to double check your head deformers for x and y in Live2D to check that they are moving properly
