Thank you so much for another great tutorial once again! I usually rig the physics like this already, but I never thought about adding another deformer for that nice subtle movement.. I'm excited now OWO
Thank you for this. Working on a new model for myself and wanted cleaner movement than I was getting, and this was a big deal in helping me make things look natural. Lots of other little things as well, how to get that fine control on the parameters that googling always told me cubism didn't allow was invaluable. Thank you fuzzy person.
I accidentally stumbled upon this, I wasn’t going to watch tutorials til my entire model art is ready but this was actually pretty entertaining! Also i love the model ! Im making a Moon jellyfish inspired model and seeing a similar model with the whole sea creature and blue theme is really inspiring 👀 I’ll definitely depend on more of your tutorials once i start using Live2D ! it really is harder than I thought 😅
Take it step by step! It looks very scary at first but once you get to trying it out you'll find it's not that bad! BUT A MOON JELLYFISH? Now I'm interested!! I hope you have fun once you hop into Live2D and vtubing!
Do you have a snout/muzzle tutorial? I'm having a real hard time figuring out how to do a fox model and while I would love to hand my art to someone else to rig it's like... Hundreds of dollars ;w; so I gotta learn this somehow and I'm learning quickly that's a heck of a task without good quality tutorials.
@@krokonut962 That's a good one to start on, but I actually rigged this one differently - different type of tail requires different type of rigging! But for fluffy tails, absolutely!
Followed all instructions for the physics of boobaY and no matter what I do unless I use body x, the pendulums do not move at all whether i move my mouse up or down or right or left Not too sure what I can do to fix this
Okay I just manually move parameters for body Y and it works, so it seems that its an error on my end where I cannot control body Y through using a mouse on the model
Figured out how to fix this, gonna keep this comment in case anyone else has this issue. Go to Preview when in the physics tab and go to setting of cursor tracking. Scroll to body Y and set its type.
Hello! Can you please tell me how you get more than one "target" in you r body warp square. I only get one green cross in the middle and it tends to distort everything. Please help!!!
Hello there! To add more divisions (the green crosses) you'll need to increase the 'Bezier Division Number' in the inspector tab - I show it at 3:48 in the video! Simply increase the numbers for width/height and it will increase the amount of crosses you have to work with! ^^
Double check that you have your angle or body Y as your input parameter for your physics group and double check the output on the Y parameters! Also make sure that body Y is tracking in the physics window in the 'settings for cursor tracking' since it doesn't have it by default!
Are you looking to add physics to an animation file made in live2d? In that case you'd need to setup the frames manually usually since it can be a bit finnicky
@@Badoodlethenoodlewantsfood So basically, whenever you have a parameter setup in the physics window in Live2D, once in vtubestudio it will prioritise the physics over the animation itself! The best way I find is to create brand new parameters with similar movements to bake into the animation - leaving the ones we used for physics alone
bless you...BLESS you for normal English, I'm stupid and I get lost so easily
Thank you!
Especially the “reflect motion” feature I didn’t know about
it's SUPER handy!

Absolutely! Adding more than one deformer/pendulum can really make a big difference to the physics, gives it that extra bit of movement

your voice is really pretty!! and never enough live2d tutorials out there
Thank you so much for the kind compliment! I'm just glad to be as helpful as I can be ^^
Awesome guide! Was straight to the point. I watched 3 others before this one and they were extremely confusing lol

thank you! can you also do a tutorial on how to apply the physics to an animation?
Oo that's actually a more tricky one, but I might be able to cover it in the future! Thanks for the suggestion!
Omg thanks so much for this. It's hard to find a good tutorial for it.
I was actually surprised that there isn't much for this particular topic! But I'm super glad it was helpful!
this is such a useful amazing tutorial thanks so much!!
Thank you. That is super helpful.
It's a Kaia! And she's super cute!
I wanted eyes to do the jiggling but i think this should do
I have a video coming up soon about eye physics actually
thank u for this tutorial
The anchor garters are so cute!
Right?? I still feel blessed to have worked with the wonderful artist and vtuber behind this model
you this is a very important video

Nice tutorial.
Btw can you show us how to rig that tail? I love the physic *-*)b
She does have a dynamic tail tutorial on her channel
I am thinking about making a guide on different tail types since this one was a bit different from the usual fluffy tails I've made!

when you move onto boobaY/Y2, where did the booba X deformers go? I'm not sure how to order them and cant see them in your list under bust xy
have the same issue tho, did you find the problem?
deformer hierarchy is this: boobaY2 > boobaY > boobaX2 > boobaX

Jiggle for belly will be great ❤
You can apply the same technique for belly jiggle!
When i do the Y physics, it doesn't seem to change anything. They are not moving with the Y movement. Do you know why?

I don't know what this is about, but I saw the thumbnail and the title and I clicked. I'm a simple man.
