Beautiful facility. So crazy how many great pickleball spots opened up after we moved from Bay! And that backhand to forehand flick was PURDDDDYYYYY too.
Hey Paul. I'm a member at Austin Pickleball Ranch, I really like how open and happy you are. I'm a 3.8 and my friend is 4.0 . I would like to get together and play and would be happy to pay court fees.
After watching you, I also think I’m about 3.7 DUPR. I was also a tennis player turned to pickleball player and I love playing it. what is you advice on improving our game? And how often do you play pickleball during the week? I just need to minimize unforced error and be more consistent with 3rd or 5th shot drops…
Glad to see your journey. Okay i went through it to 7:45 counting points you lost divided by whether you all hit net or out, or they hit winners. I count 10 out/net and 4 winners by them This seems bad since if you net/out you have 0% chance to win. My realization is that although it feels weird, popping it up is better than hitting the net because at least you have a chance to win the point. Against this level i don't think you neeed to hit straight up winners, just push them back and coordinate with your partner. I'm a bit biased since as a rec player, its also much more fun to get to the net and points end for reasonable reasons rather than just randomly.
Aand immediately followed by five more failures to get the ball to their side while only losing one point due to a slam from them. Get it over the net and you'll win a lot more 😜
Indoor/outdoor ball term is kinda of misleading. We're using "outdoor" balls on these courts. The type of ball is in reference to the court material, so this is hard court (inside), therefore we use outdoor balls. Indoor balls are for tiles, basketball courts, etc.
Your videos before were really fun to watch. But the past few recent videos seem more boring and toned down and it seems like the excitement isn't there. Something changed, I feel like you should go back to what you were doing before because each video was just so gripping.
Hmmm thanks for the feedback! I'm confident my horseshoe bay tourney vid will be better. It'll come out in a couple weeks, but I'm pretty much getting wrecked in a snorlax onesie in 5.0 div.
@@eellaups I randomly checked your dupr after one of your videos yesterday I think and saw you playing mixed doubles and saw it said 5.0, I was so confused for a minute lol
@@duzty4308 yeah you might be right, it might be the toss thats throwing me off. Just looks like a high contact point to me, not to take anything away from the guy tho he’s a very solid banger with a pretty sweet single arm back hand
Grunting has little to do with tennis or effort. For example, the hardest hitters like Sinner, Fed, ... don't grunt, but sissy like Sonego, Zverev are quite loud and annoying. However, not a darn thing we can do about it, so suck it up and play on.
Game one looking crispy 🔥🔥 love to see the short game developing!

Beautiful facility, thanks for sharing
thanks for making this video! im from texas and im about to move to the Bay so its nice to see this perspective
Nice...I know two of the guys from your game as they occasionally play at the EVC (Evergreen Valley College) courts as well. Both good players...
im 3.5 in the bay and this was really cool to see - i play at a local free court but may go to the hub when it starts raining
You didn't go to the Craneway Pavillion? in Richmond CA?
3:49 is a pickleballer's dream set up!

You need to come to Reno and play at the Convention Center (Jam On It Pickleball) 😉
lol partner hit 2 great overheads and then u hit yours into the next court 😂
You should try the hub in alameda or willow pass in concord
Yo Paul, it was good to seeing you at Hub :D
Yesss! Thanks so much for saying hi. Sad we didn't get a game in, I totally lost you after that first game.
happy dinkers guy immediately illegal serve at 3:16 lol (above the waist)
It’s legal, play it in slowmo, he raises up and the ball is at waist height
What software do you use to do your videos with the scoring box?

Holy fuck crazy to see my two worlds clashing. I’ve been watching illiminate content for years and now they’re no longer together 🥲
Which is the preferred indoor Pickleball ball to play with?

I love you Paul
Here before you blowup 🗣️
Are you gonna play in San Diego??
What do you use to film? And what do you set it up on?
Check the vid description!
@@eellaups thanks!
Paddle?
The 12:10 foot fault being called would have saved you the embarrassment😂 so hard to catch in the heat of the moment though
Can you stop saying "my bad"? We know bruh...who else would we blame? 🤣🤣🤣

the things I do for y'all 🥹
@9:34 mans is serving from above the waist
Looks under the belly button to me.

Slowed it down, definitely legal
Are the anti banger banger club the dinkers? and the anti dinker dinker club bangers? 🤔
Hmmm its ok I guess but you do seem less excited maybe you're feeling a bit burned out?
What’s with the grunting???? This isn’t tennis. Not that much effort to hit the ball
