Is the custom rotor just lettering or do you guys do custom designs as well such as taking away material from the rotor to expose the movement more?

You can see the custom rotors here: shop.diywatch.club/collections/customised-components. For now we only offer engravings in words. We do skeletonizing rotors as well but only for private clients and specific movements. If you need that, please drop me a line and we'll see if we can accommodate your needs.

As always, your guides saving lifes... By the way, i have a seiko 7s36, and besides the spinning i can fell the rotor bouncing back and forth, is that normal or should i do something ?
I suspect something is wrong because i used to get +5 secs/day and now its around -20.

It's probably a loose rotor, which is common on Seiko 7s movements. We have a guide on this: diywatch.club/en/blog/quickly-fix-loose-noisy-seiko-rotor

Could the rotor be removed, making the watch manual, without damaging the movement?

For this particular Miyota movement, yes you can. For some other movements like sw200, it's the entire automatic module that needs to be removed.

But for the older Seiko 7s24 variants, which are automatic only (no manual winding), removing the rotor will render the movement useless

Do i need that particular DIY screwdriver to install Custom Rotor? Or any ordinary small size flathead suffice for this one particular function?

That screwdriver has a custom made tip that fits the screw slot to a tee, so less chance to slip and scratch the rotor. It's possible to find a small flathead that does the job, but usually it's either too narrow lengthwise or too thick to fit into the slot. You can also go full DIY, get a screwdriver and sand it down to the correct thickness. That's actually how watchmakers do it.
