Well, even if it's just a case of wrong-words-used. She wears the trenchcoat while she's outside and then takes it off when she's indoors and out of the rain. I'd say the 'realistic' part is dressing for the weather rather than style alone.

@@danielleanderson6371 It was, but to a lot of old-school fans, the only games they consider to be "true" Resident Evil games are the originals. I personally consider RE0 to RE4 with RE7 to be true Resident Evil games, but it started to degrade with RE5. Though the series started to decompose when they made RE6, Operation Raccoon City and, ugh, Umbrella Corps

RE 5 was a good game but held down by clunky controls and gameplay.
RE 6 had good gameplay, but was just mediocre in every aspect, from attempted horror sequences, character progression to puzzles... and also unnecessary QTEs.
RE 6 had huge potential. If it was more refined, and scaled down on the over the top sequences, it could have been the best RE game.

Yea the second one had a minigame where you fight dinosaurs...to get free points to buy the Infinite weapons to make subsequent playthroughs just a tad easier. Also the minigame was two player :D

I'm so happy that they still acknowledge the existence of Resident evil outbreak with Rita (and Alyssa in Resident evil 7), hopefully someday we get a remake for file 1 and 2 and maybe a release for the cancelled file 3 game.
Unlikely. Most of Outbreak games is too basic. Also Code Veronica would have still higher priority for remake.

Cry The only thing I remember about Outbreak is that hella terrifying yellow monster that I can’t remember the name of.
Makes me really wish Silent Hill got the same treatment. But instead the promised remake was left as a scrapped project and a demo that was removed to prevent anyone new playing it.
Still this is my first horror game I really did enjoy; still playing it via emulation so I'm likely to get this after I've beaten it.
It kills me to think about that, considering that game was one of the reasons I got a PS4.

I"m happy to see genuine creepy atmospheres for horror fans to enjoy again. That recent phase of 'jump scares and loud noises = horror' was the worst. Even movies are so bad with using jump scares instead of an overall experience.
Amnesia, Alien Isolation, Outlast, and among the sleep have creepy atmospheres. Though a couple have the jump scares.
@@AlmightyPolarBear Alien Isolation was a genius game. The Xenomorph AI was so good that it didn't feel like "avoid the enemy's patrol route" but rather "try to predict the enemy's movements and avoid letting your position be known."
Essentially, you were not just avoiding the view cone of an enemy, you were actively trying to outsmart it (while it tried to outsmart you).
Alien isolation is freaking awesome

Ada’s red dress is part of the DLC costume along with Claire’s original outfit and Leon’s “old hollywood” costume

It’s awesome they thought of surround sound. That was one thing I really noticed when I played the demo, I was actually relying on my hearing more than sight to make sure there wasn’t anything behind me or in my peripherals.

I was really happy that the police station in the demo felt as claustrophobic and confusing as it did in the original. Even with the third-person camera, I kept getting lost and turned around. I can't wait to play the full version. A remake of RE3 would also be so amazing.
I want an Onimusha remake, on the condition that the same care and effort is put into it as this one.

I was 7 years old when I first started playing Resident Evil 2 and every game up to Resident Evil 7. I'm 27 years old now and I must say not only does Capcom do remakes right, I think they are heading in the right direction with the franchise as a whole!

I like them, but that's why we have the original games. I could always go back and beat them for like the 10th time, but I am looking forward to a refresh on something I've played already.

You're not the only one. I think the "cinematic" angles look amazing. They were a huge part of why I fell in love with the series in the first place. I half expect these original mechanics to be an unlockable feature. This would be a very high difficulty game mode considering how hard it would be to aim, but I can't imagine it would be all that hard for the team to code into the finished game and I would definitely try to play through it!
According to the players who've played the leaked copy, you can actually unlock Fixed Camera in the game, unlock requirements unknown tho, but I've seen a screenshot of fixed camera on/off menu option
Just got finished playing the original on my channel to prepare myself for the remake...... I understand the two are completely different but I’m stoked to get spooked by some HD remake zombies!
I've never played RE, but it's really cool how the devs are trying to stay so true to the original in their remake and are adding things from old concept art.
