- Introducing the first of very many GT7 PSVR2 videos, starting off with none other than the Dodge SRT Tomahawk X, the fastest car in the game reaching to over 400mph or 650kmph in the straights! I also show off the VR Replay feature to see the cars fly by!
A few key things you might notice in this video: The resolution on the sides of the screen is lower. This is because of the foveated rendering of the PSVR2, which optimizes performance by lowering the resolution where your eyes aren't directly looking, using the eye tracking feature. Unfortunately, this also shows up in the video stream, but in the headset you cannot even tell.
For those who have never tried VR before, keep in mind what you see on screen is not the same experience as what you would see in VR, as there is no depth perception.

Okay, watching the replay in VR as part of the crowd is amazing. I don't think i ever seen that in any racing game yet since VR started coming out. Amazing!
My first tought was , Eau Rouge Groupc C cars (GR1 old class) , most of the "influencers" that got te psvr2 and the game are to young to have the revisiting feeling of an real circuit

This is so fucking cool and people don’t understand. You can experience it from driving in the race and after you’re done. You can enjoy it again as a fan and watching those monster cars blow pass you. I love VR

So I haven't played VR in over a year and I'm really excited to jump back in, I had sustained a healthy pair of vr legs in the past but i think this would make me sick 😆
I wish FIA could make another category of racing that ALLOWs free use of moving parts and fan car, like the Red Bull 2010X from GT5 and maneuvering ailerons (?) like the Tomahawk X.
It would be a battle of not just skill but also bleeding-edge motor engineering!
not going to lie ive wondered if this thing would be driveable in real life as in reflexes.... not even only the tomahawk but the redbull X etc...... and the nuke mini explosion summed up my mind as well!
Theres a Japanese guy and probably a few others as well who have driven the tomahawk X at full speed perfectly time trial around the nordschleife obviously a few years ago i think on sport... will check if theyve got a vr2 i cant remember the guys name tho..... the japanese guy was specialising on suzuka

Rowdy, I wanted your opinion on a very controversial subject in the last few days! The blurry PSVR image! There's been a lot of discussion going on about it really not being the same as the image we see on RUclips, which on YT is more ''sharp'' while in VR it's more blurry...
There are people saying it's because the guy didn't fit well, others say it's like that because it's too close to the screen, there are people saying that in GT 7 it's difficult to see the license plates, etc...
What is your opinion, especially in relation to GT7?
The headset is always going to have some blur to it, but you still need to get it positioned absolutely perfect. Since the lenses are so close to your eyes, every pixel will be bigger, but since it fills up much more of your peripheral view compared to a normal screen, it will not look as sharp.
It will definitely be hard to see details, especially at a distance when the LOD's kick in and lower the quality for optimization reasons. The tech to see crystal clear in VR just isn't here yet

It looks crazy in VR. I came back and played GT7 for the first time in ages and saw the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe '64 for $20M! This is ridiclous! Equivilant to 25 x 30 min clean race wins, where is the fun in that? The option to spend $290 AUD on credits. This predatory gaming practice is ruining gaming, though making it grindy and boring. So looks like I'll spend most of the weekend gaming time doing the same race over and over again, buy the Cobra and leave the game for another 6 months in disgust.
Next they use Sony AI on all races and kill the game completely.
I bought the game to enjoy cars I never afford in real life. I can't afford them in the game either because they want to sell them to you. They make it hard with all the grinding.
