My first time watching Saw X! As a huge Saw fan, I couldn't wait to check this out. Luckily for me, I avoided every trailer and spoiler for this movie, so I was able to go in completely blind. Saw is where I became huge fan of James Wan and Leigh Whannell. I'm happy to see others come in and take the reins, write and direct, and keep the essence of what Saw was meant to be. I think this film takes a new approach to the franchise and gives somethings we haven't gotten before from previous Saw movies. This one was FUN to watch!
Movie Synopsis:
John Kramer, also known as the infamous Jigsaw, hopes for a miraculous cure to his cancer when he encounters a man whose terminal cancer has disappeared. John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure, when he encounters something else just as egregious.

Recorded a little while ago, but didn't get this edit done in time for Halloween. But despite that, I really enjoued this movie a lot. One of my favorites out of all 10 for sure! What's your favorite SAW movie??

@pauzeandrewind my favorite one is Saw III… Amanda acting w/John, & Lynn, plus her dying was A1, John was being John, Slow ass MuthaFucen Jeff made you want to strangle em… ahh all three key elements of perfect horror cinema.

He even got water boarded at 80 years old ( it is real , I've seen the behind the scenes footage) that man is an acting powerhouse.

I was so happy to see the script giving him some real depth and range to sink his teeth into. If he’s up for it at 81, I’d love to see him cast in other projects to show off his skill even more!

Tbh I think I like it more based on its rewatchability factor. The original still has the best twist but X gives us more jigsaw than honestly ever before and it’s perfect for that

I’ve heard a lot of reactions to the 3-minute timer but like, these traps were DAMN brutal. If they took any longer to saw through their leg or chop into their brain or whatever, they might’ve died on the spot! And we see with Gabriela that John legit wanted these people to survive if they had it in them. I think it makes a lot of sense with his philosophy 🤌🏻
Henry did get his comeuppance if you watch the post credit lol. A cool cameo too

Fun fact: the brain can't actually feel any pain - it doesn't have any pain receptors. It's because of this reason that open brain surgery while awake is possible as well as important, in order to keep from damaging any parts of the brain responsible for motor functions and things like breathing and talking.
It's very fascinating, honestly.

Spiral is so much better than people wanna give it credit for. It's in my top 4 'Saw' movies.
I agree!! People just hate for no reason lol Spiral was not nearly as bad of a movie as people say it is.
@11:23 When I was 2 months old I had cranial surgery. 34 years later I had a Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm (TAA) repair that needed to be done, and the only way to access is through the sternum. The Thoracic part of this Aortic Artery comes directly out of the heart, and is responsible for feeding blood to the carotid arteries and the descending aortic artery which feeds the colon, and other parts of the body. By the time I was 40, I would have two leg biopsies done to find the type of Neuropathy I had Small Fiber Idiopathic Neuropathy. I am hopeful that the 2020's will have no major surgeries, etc.
So 2 things. The arbitrary timeline was on purpose. Yes it was very unfair but they technically had a chance and they died with false hope which is very fitting
Secondly the last trap was not meant for the girl and the guy it was meant for John and Amanda.
The curveball was Carlos. John and Amanda easily could have communicated and seesawed Plus withstand a lot more than a child
This is to the people wondering why John would get in the trap he planned it he just didn't plan for Carlos
Exactly, and yeah, the false hope narrative was very fitting. He even mentioned the "doctors" were taking people out with false hope, so yeah, I agree, very fitting. They had a chance if they didn't waste any time.

I saw "Saw X" and for the first time in the series, I was actually crying. Bell and Smith really pulled out the acting chops in this one. Cecilia may have lived, but she is beyond ruined. You also hear the cops. She is going to jail. All of her crimes are going to come to light, including being responsible for the deaths of many people she scammed with her phony treatment. She's going to do hard time and John basically gave her the best "Kiss My Ass" response ever.

Well, that opening was terrifying.
She’s stuck outside the area anyone would come to look, as to Amanda she was only tested in Saw 1 and 3, she was the game leader in Saw 2 and hence in the game to watch and make sure the rules were followed.
I wanna correct something, mate... you keep referring back to John putting Amanda BACK in another trap because she went back to using. First, that hasn't happened yet, lol, in reference to this film... but, technically, it may not matter, just a point of order. But mainly, he didn't REALLY put her back in the house because she was using again, that was the cover story in the house. She was in the house on purpose. I think mainly to protect Daniel from the others, also to help lead others to certain things like the first tape recorder. It wasn't punishment for her, it was work.

I went to go see this in the theatre with my dad. He wasnt scared but the first trap had me screaming and squirming in my seat. I felt that.
I've never seen anyone's eyes be sucked out! Lol that's just...I dunno, that's just wild!
@@pauzeandrewind yes. I squirmed so much. That’s the first time I physically tried to dissapear from me seat. The other movies didn’t bother me as much. This one though..

Did you notice that in the movie Stay Alive they kinda use the same thing as Saw? if you are reading this you have made a terrible mistake,hear it and tell me that´s not a Sae vibes. I like how you get the right subtitles,in other reactions i saw SPEAKING IN SPANISH and no translation haha,changing from English to Spanish it was so fucking EPIC when Diego say,were are we going? AL INFIEEERNOO. For a moment i was thinking,is this the right movie? it kinda start slow and i was asking for gore,when that happen i totally regret it by asking for that haha.Happy new year,like and sub.

That's awesome, it's a great series! I love SAW. People give the series so much crap, but I think they're awesome.
@pauzeandrewind Indeed, my guy. The thing that I always think about is.... what could I have done to find myself in a game or trap, and that is the scariest thing to think about. It makes me appreciate these movies more.
