In his 60s, with basically no well-known films or characters to his name, Tobin Bell landed the role of a lifetime-which he has continued playing for twenty years-and became a horror icon. It’s never too late to hit it big. :)
@@knownpleasures Tobin Bell definitely appeared in a couple of films but the Saw franchise became his biggest breakthrough and most prominent work. He made John Kramer/Jigsaw as one of the most popular horror characters in Hollywood.
I love Tobin Bell from the very beginning of this franchise. And now in the 10th movie, I finally get to see him show his incredible acting chops in full. This movie made me cry, laugh, cringe in fear and a multitude of more feelings. He deserves to be recognized as an amazing actor!
Tobin bell is such a great guy doing all saw movies he’s been over the years I like it. So exited that he’s coming back to the new saw movie with Shawnee smith super stoked
I feel like at this point Tobin Bell is to John as Kevin Conroy is to Batman. The only one on sept who doesn’t need direction because he’s been doing the role long enough he knows the character better than whatever director who happens to be working on that current SAW entry
Spiral is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Cannot believe it has anything to do with SAW/ Jigsaw name. Such a disappointment; bad acting, awfully crafted characters, weak Jigsaw, miserable traps, disappointing conclusion…the list goes on. Spiral is awful in every measurable metrics.
About John not seeing them as 'traps', doesnt he say 'We both know youve never been in a trap, nor have you ever been tested' at Bobby's trial in Saw VII? (I believe the Billy tapes were canonically recorded by Kramer and not Hoffman)
Hes actually in his early 60s. He was 52 in saw IV which came out in 2007. He was prob like 20 smth when he studied architecture. I dont fully know the timeline though
That’s the point of his character. He believes what he’s doing is noble and right, but in reality he has a huge god complex and can’t face the reality that his method is flawed and his successes aren’t really successes.
i feel its SUCH a waste to AGAIN play john kramer. he would be the PERFECT fit to play one of the really really sickest f*cks ever to live: ALBERT FISH.

He played a hitman in the Tom cruise movie The firm 30 years ago

It's not "horror" it's weird violence porn with zero plot and completely satanic in nature. The Saw movies suck period.
Well, he DID kick Kramer and Newman out of his record store one time!
Nobody brought justice to the character then Tobin bell for the saw movies. Saw is like a torture porn
Tobin Bell got my highest respect. 81 years old and still amazing as Jigsaw!
81 !!! holy shit !!!
Tell me he's 81 years old... He looks 20 years younger max!
Also his ... ability[??] to make such a deranged disturbed and creepy voice is amazing
i know
I thought he was 62 or 69 years old, ngl!

20 years of John Kramer and he is still amazing. Love Tobin and his work for a long time. This guy is a legend. Big respect
What a gift, to be able to listen to this vastly talented man expound with profundity upon the character he made famous. LEGEND!
I have a feeling we experienced the last true saw movie. Its sad that hes not getting younger, this man has so much talent.
Brings a tear to my eye to see them both again in a very well written installment. I've been a Saw fan since the very beginning.
John Cramer is definitely my favorite horror villain and it is so cool to see Tobin Bell’s takes and thoughts about the character he plays.
Guy needs a Oscar not just for the new movie the whole franchise he’s just amazing legendary actor
Imagine a Saw escape room with Tobin. That would be bucket list stuff.
Hey uh im late but that did happen!Search it
Brilliant actor, absolutely loved Saw X almost as good as the first Saw.
I love Tobin Bell ! Saw X is one of the best movies ever made !
this man has provided justice that might create world free from criminal acts, but only in the movie
Saw X is a must see
Seriously, the movie is surpringly fenomenal, and atobyn Bell is just absolutely incredible in it. Kramer is absolute Top Tier horror character.
Tobin bell is such a great guy doing all saw movies he’s been over the years I like it. So exited that he’s coming back to the new saw movie with Shawnee smith super stoked
He’s a fantastic actor!
He is very switched on can’t wait to see the film tomorrow
one could say this man blossomed late in his career
I've always thought Kramer was relatable. I'm also very sick
I feel like at this point Tobin Bell is to John as Kevin Conroy is to Batman. The only one on sept who doesn’t need direction because he’s been doing the role long enough he knows the character better than whatever director who happens to be working on that current SAW entry
Completely agree with this also RIP Kevin Conroy, the best Batman ever
I wonder how his family sees him, his grandkids!!! Like yeah I ain’t gonna mess with grandpa ply no more!!! ❤❤😂😅
I can’t believe we almost didn’t get this movie because Chris Rock wanted to play a cop in a Saw movie. Thank god Spiral flopped and we got this.
Absolutely hated spiral. I'm glad it flopped as hard as it did. This should hopefully be way better!
You guys are just hating because it's the popular opinion. What a lame and boring way to experience media.
It flopped because of the pandemic when people weren’t going to movie theaters that much. And yes, it did try to be different but wasn’t good.

I wish Tobin was my dad
Absolutely amazing performance in the new saw x
Watched Saw X in my local cinema last Sunday. Last showing and I was the only one in the room. Fantastic.
I do not think you could ever find a better Jigsaw than Tobin Bell.
Looks good for his age
I love how eloquently Tobin Bell speaks. He talks just like me fr☺️
He is One of the greatest actors
They should make a Saw film where John meets Hannibal Lector & puts him in one of his traps, two super intelligent serial killers meet
Kinda like Freddy vs Jason
Thank you for this movie your great
He is an amazing actor

I think he’s using the term trap as almost an insult, like John doesn’t view them but he’d know bobby uses the term so he’s throwing it back at him
I think Tobin better to show his other image when he's outside the movie because it will be more professional.
Love John Kramer/Tobin Bell
Legend
lets end this series on a high note!
how would
he be an architect for 40 years if he was only in his 50s?
Plot Device Mr Frodo, Plot Device

Tobin is amazing 👏
average traps enjoyer:
average test situations enthusiast:
How does this guy look good for his age? 🙂
He is so sweet. Idk.
John is inherently hypocritical
That’s the point of his character. He believes what he’s doing is noble and right, but in reality he has a huge god complex and can’t face the reality that his method is flawed and his successes aren’t really successes.
That's the point. You're not supposed to agree with him about his methods. You just have to understand why he'd do this from his viewpoint.
