- Scott Davis from HeyUGuys interviews Tobin Bell for his return as the infamous Jigsaw in the brand new movie spin-off from the Saw franchise.
Plot: A mysterious madman rounds up a group of victims to play sadistic games of life and death. Police soon find evidence that link the crimes to Jigsaw, the infamous killer who died 10 years earlier.

Great actor too. Watching In the Line of Fire now. Saw is one of my all time favorites. Dark but powerful.

Tobin Bell is one of the finest American actors. In lesser hands, Jigsaw would have been a one note psychopath, but Bell imbues him with such calculating complexity. The John Kramer stuff is so much more interesting than the traps, I think killing Jigsaw off in Saw 3 was the worst mistake they made.
I think killing him off in three was fine, the mistake was making more saw movies

Actually Tobin, the movie Cube was a movie about 4 people (a 5th joins them later) locked in a "room" with traps outside of the room and they didn't know why they were there, or how to escape. Cube came out in 1997 and had a MASSIVE influence on Saw, as did the movie Seven from 1995.
He did so well in saw, genuinely awesome acting

It was like seeing an old friend again when he popped up, I smiled from ear to ear. He actually is still looks close enough to what he did in in the earlier movies that we could get a jigsaw sequel entirely from his perspective. Get Gordon, Amanda and Hoffman back and tell å story placed between 2 and 3. Could just be a few traps he set up to get them more acquainted with his process.. I don't need a big twist in this one, just wanna spend time with jigsaw

Becca ann The movie made $102 million worldwide against a $10 million budget. Then it makes more money when it’s released digitally and on DVD etc. so it’s well worth it to them to continue the franchise

I have been rewatching the "Saw" movie philosophy critic reviews on YT again to see how much my perspectives have changed since the last time I viewed them. I study psychology, theology, philosophy, karma, spirituality, and the universe a lot. When you asked about karma. Looking at the higher perspective, Jigsaw is karma. I unfortunately haven't seen the recent movies, so I am just speaking on the ones that I have only seen. So, I am speaking on the movies that I have seen only. I understand that Jigsaw was traumatized from his unfortunate life events, which led him to the path that he did. Who wouldn't have been? He had one thing happen one after another and they were traumatic situations. Some individuals can't handle break ups or rejection now a days. Which is understandable, as it does cause trauma on an individual. He had heavy trauma. I personally wouldn't of taken the path Jigsaw did, however, I understand where he came from and what lead him down that path. There is a lot of greed, selfishness, and etc because of how society was made to work. He did try to make changes according to his beliefs, as he viewed them. So let's say society is run by "darkness". (Greed, selfishness, etc.) I understand spiritual law, so I know that what goes around eventually comes around. The NRG one projects, always comes back one way or another. (Dark vs light.) When one does innocent individuals dirty (dark) someone will come around and do them even dirtier. Some individuals do dirty all their lives, thinking they are getting away with it. (We view this theme play out a few times within the franchise.) Then someone comes along that they can't get away with doing dirty and then consequences will follow. I have seen it time and time again. Let's just say the victim's Jigsaw went around was doing darkness and it came back in the form of "Jigsaw". They could of or their family could have created karmic debt and Jigsaw was sent to collect on some of it. I understand Karma, so karma can also transfer down the family line, as well. Sometimes the children suffer and have to pay the karmic debt left by their family or ancestors. I have seen several events where the parents do something and then the children end up suffering and paying the karmic debt of what happened. I study a lot of history, too. Humans have a hard time learning from history and the destruction they cause continues down the family line until someone in the family breaks that generational curse and clears the karmic debt. I have just been revisiting the Royal history from Henry VIII and other past royal figures and there is so much destruction within their bloodlines. (Another example.)
